Clean up your diet and keep lifting for strength. A huge part of shedding body fat is diet. Also, start doing some HIT training (boxing, jog-sprints, etc.) The fat will fall right off you.

You won't get "rich" working as military or law enforcement in the US. You also won't be too badly off though. I'm from NYS and police start around $40-45k/year. Corrections start around $40-41k year. State Troopers start at $53k/year, but are the hardest to get into. Military you don't make much money until at least 4-8 years in, depending on MOS (I served 4 years USMC, E-5 Sergeant rank and made about $50k/year if you include housing allowance).
