I don't entirely disagree with this. People can change but the reality is most don't and won't. If you feel the need to fix someone and their current self is not actually someone you want to be in a relationship with, don't be in that relationship. If you choose to, that is on you. For the record, men do this with women too. Definitely not a a single gendered issue even.

Yes. We on the left generally swallow ourselves...A LOT. We make it easy for conservatives to spread bad faith ideas. It's unfortunate.

Yet men get to be hugely disproportionately homeless compared to women. There's like 2.3 homeless men for every homeless woman in the U.S.

Not here to argue the point because I don't really care enough to but it is disingenous to pretend nothing they say is correct or a good viewpoint. You can learn something from most viewpoints, even ones you may not like. But blindly hating things also works for some people I guess.

Kind of reminds me of the time I saw a black person say they have no sympathy for white homeless people lol.

So, I actually happen to be a guy that thinks feminism has many important critiques of society that are worth listening to and trying to think about. I also think though there are too many people who run with the label feminist and turn it into a men vs. women situation which is unfortunate. It's not a good way to get as many people as possible to listen.

Honestly, I'm pretty much thinking LGBTQ+ stuff is really spectrum and most people if they look deep enough within, realize most peop[e are probably not an absolute 100% on either side as it is a really, really wide tent. So if people are there...who is anyone to try and police and figure them out if they're respectful? Mind you own fucking business. No one can truly prove this aspect of their identity sufficiently enough ever on the tightest of scales.

Neither should be bullied for those things anymore than penis size, attractiveness, whatever else, should be bullied. That being said it IS okay to have dating and attracted to preferences. That part is just the nature of people getting to choose what works for them.

Their comment history will tell you enough to know they are not interested in rationally engaging in these discussions.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
