Honestly, it's bloody appalling they're calling this a failure just because it didn't have the outcome they desired. If that was how we did science we'd never get anywhere.

Western Australia Yeah I'm not surprised sadly. Australia and some states have some pretty backwards ways of thinking when it comes to social issues, it's like we're a decade behind. Remember we're the country that changed the law in 2004 to specifically (rather than by default) exclude same sex marriage.
