I used Jan 1 as an excuse to combine all my monk mode activities into a consistent schedule. Morning exercise and full breakfast. I've read 2 books over last 30 days (including a RP book "The Way of Men"). Working on my new video project. Etc, etc. But most importantly... 30 days without a cigarette. It's cliche to quit smoking on New Years, but 30 days cold is the longest I've ever gone and I feel great.

I'll take a stab: Women have a ticking clock inside them. The Wall. Single means heading to the wall full speed ahead. Men don't have The Wall. Our clocks tick slower. I would also say that men don't NEED LTR women. Statistically, they can work, earn, spend, and live freely as they please with or without a woman. Women NEED men. To provide security and material comforts. Single means these things aren't there and they often become desperate for BB.

Yeah exactly. I'm the same way. I do enjoy most chores/tasks now. If not just for feeling in control of my own life. Also, I hear so many grown adults bitch and complain nowadays about the most mediocre things. It makes me just all the more grateful for having had instilled in me the mindset of "Tough shit. Get your hands dirty." As for being tired, I'm 35, and most of the times I don't want to do something IS BECAUSE I'm already tired. Work day is over, I'm tired, but nope... going to the gym. …

Yes yes yes. Lived this experience years ago. I had a "friend" who's SMV was always lower than mine. I was always bringing him along on my adventures, projects, etc. Never the other way around. I had a few plates, one of which turned into a sort of LTR. Soon after nexting her, I got an email from her saying this "friend" had asked her out for coffee.
