Camping is the definition of form over function. Getting the right gear is the most essential thing. Clothing related: - layers are your best friend. Cozy fleece in particular. - Get synthetic stuff, not cotton. - bring and extra pair or two of underwear just in case - wear your hiking boots around before you leave so they are broken in!! Blisters suck. - Headlamp >>> flashlight - GORP-core is in, use that for inspiration if you must look cute. Other tips: - for peeing outside squatting and gett…

I shouldn't have assumed! My bad. That's awesome that you've seen such a change so quickly! You got this!

Food is more important than exercise for weight (IMO). The biggest changes happened after I shifted my diet toward keto (low carb, more fat and protein). I knew I was doing something right when a bowl of plain Greek yogurt tasted like vanilla ice cream. Your body will recallibrate what sweet is in like 2-3 weeks. That being said, the first couple of weeks on keto are pretty brutal. Be prepared if you decide to go in that direction.

Over the last 18 months, I've slimmed down from about 150lbs to 127lbs (I'm 5'5"). I've never had issues getting first dates but since I've lost the weight it's made a huge difference in keeping guys interested and invested. Part of this is due to some other personal growth (and sorting out chronic pain issues), but the change in interest is obvious. Guys chase me now for the first time in my life. I think most guys would agree that 15lbs overweight is better than 15lbs underweight, but getting …

Executive Functioning issues can be very different person to person so I'm drawing from my own experiences with ADHD. Overall, you need to develop systems that work for you and your schedule. Routines are your friend even if they feel constricting. Books never helped me personally because they tend to feel too rigid in this regard. I've found that the way to get around this is anchoring tasks not at a specific time, but to another action I take. Some examples: I make sure that I clean my room be…

Do you crochet? There are TONS of patterns for amigurumi plush toys of characters from various video games. For something more practical, I'd consider getting him a better chair, headset, or mousepad (depending on your budget). Even more practical (and something you can enjoy too!) is offering to pay for faster internet for the year or upgrading your router to something designed for online gaming. I'm a gamer myself so if you would like some more tailored advice based on the specific games he pl…

bonus points on this - take that half-up ponytail divide the section above the hair tie in two to make a space. Thread the tail of the ponytail through the space you made for a very simple twist. Also, if you do two of the twists stacked on top of each other you can get a very simple Daenerys inspired look.

Not sure what your hair situation is like, but it's often one of the first things men will notice. It's a subtle evolutionary indicator of youth and fertility. Start taking hair vitamins (bonus points since they're similar to pre-natal vitamins) and consider trying a new style or color. Even getting subtle highlights can have a dramatic effect. Also, figure out what hair type you have and think about whether your products are the best fit given your concerns. Speaking from personal experience, I…

I was diagnosed with BPD in January. It's my greatest insecurity. I know that no matter how good I am about managing my internal chaos and those momentary flashes of emotion and impulsivity, I still feel like I can destroy a relationship in an instant. I do believe this will improve with time. I was alpha-widowed because of my inability to control my emotions. This was before I embraced RPW or was diagnosed, but I basically exploded at him during our "fix the relationship discussion." I broke do…

Beyond what has been said already about ACB's achievements, style, and beautiful family, I think we should all recognize the tremendous generosity and kindness she embodies too. If you haven't seen this part of the testimony where a former blind student of hers explains how ACB took it upon herself to ensure that she had access to the technology she needed to succeed at Notre Dame law, it will melt your heart. ❤️

Tennis seems like a great hobby to pursue! It keeps you active and it's a great way to meet men (and girl friends!) after you finish school. Part of being feminine is nurturing people, including yourself. If tennis makes you happy, do it. How does tennis make you act passive aggressively? What other unfeminine behaviors do you think you do because of tennis?

In the Greek/Roman pantheon, I've always liked Athena/Minerva. While most know her as the goddess of strategic war and knowledge, she's also the goddess of "useful arts" i.e. sewing, pottery, weaving. Just because you're smart, doesn't mean you can't put it to use for feminine purposes. Odysseus's wife Penelope is also considered to be the ideal wife in the Greek world. She fought off suitors for 20 years through her wits while her husband was presumed dead, remaining loyal to him the whole time…

Spoken like someone who works in a field where there's a lot of flexibility to move from job to job. Not everyone has that ability.

I was in a similar situation to you a couple of years ago. I thought I was just depressed, struggling with ADHD, and coping with a traumatic upbringing. Turns out, I had a separate medical issue going on. About 4-5 years earlier I dislocated part of my jaw. It was giving me migraines, sapping my energy, and generally making me irritable. It got so bad that I was having migraines every day. Between getting surgery, physical therapy and medication, I'm feeling much better and have way more energy.…

Hinge has been the most useful for me. In general, I find most guys on the app are looking for relationships, not hookups. Or at least, it's easy to tell them apart. I'd also endorse the paid version if you can. It allows you to filter more specifically. I found my current relationship by filtering for the guys who want kids and have matching politics. Good luck!

As much as you guys might want to down vote this, this is super solid advice. Described my experience perfectly.

Like we tell women here, you can't change a partner. Not unless they want to be changed. And even then, change is hard. From my personal experience, I recognized how empty I felt after a ONS. That got me to realize I had to treat myself with more dignity, especially since the momentary high died so quickly. Politically, it came in college too. I took a few sociology classes for my degree and I began to realize that all they wanted to do was complain and never propose any coherent solutions of th…

I see two avenues for you: 1) Learn to trust him again or 2) dump him You said yourself that he lost a portion of your trust. Deleting his Instagram is a concrete action he took in consideration of your feelings. But it's pretty clear from your post that you haven't forgiven him either since you keep monitored his posts/likes and think he might have just moved to a different platform. That's okay of course, you're entitled to feel however you do. But you also shouldn't waste your time with someo…

It's perfectly okay to not like the meds you are on. That's why so many different options exist. But please, please, please do future you a favor. Going off meds without first talking to your doctor and coming up with a plan can and (more than likely) will make you feel worse and can have long term consequences. Even if you feel like shit now, try to be strong for the person you hope to become. I've bounced around diagnoses for my entire adult life, taking (various) meds from 14 to 26. I tried t…
