I think that if someone shows up on my property unannounced at night, that is potentially a threat to my well-being and should be treated as such. And, yet again, the point was that yhe story is told from the perspective of OP and only OP. It is anecdotal. It may not have gone down that way. He just said it did. The court apparently disagreed. If anyone, repo man, police officer, etc enters onto my property unannounced, my assumption is that my life is in danger. The courts have already decided that if you gun down several cops in a no-knock warrant you are not liable. I don't see why the repo guy gets special treatment here. The person at fault in my opinion is the boss for telling the employee to put himself in an outrageous situation. I hope the family got a nice settlement from him.
