This AND set some realistic boundaries and a timeframe. These things can drag out. It is possible to get a lawyer and explain that you want to divorce amicably and they can help you navigate the system. It doesn’t have to be an endless money pit.

My kids are teenagers and we swap weekly. This is quite common I think. We also swap holiday/school breaks every year, so we end up getting several 2 week chunks during the year. Also have built in two week chunks during summer for vacations. You can set it up however you and your ex agree. As time has distanced from my divorce, I think we have both just tried to be accommodating with each other. This starts with one person and can be contagious. Setup and introduced by mutual friends and met at a community event. Pretty old school…I know. Still haven’t had the chance to experience online dating, but it seems like a good option. If I wasn’t seeing someone seriously I’d consider it for sure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
