I don't like that statistic. It never considers that the people who don't regret it are dead. If you are being interviewed after jumping off the bridge, it means you are being watched (by doctors, family, etc.); and if you are being watched, then admitting you are still suicidal would mean involuntarily hospitalization. Of course the simplest reason is that they are in fact all telling the truth.

I wonder if the people comforting her will use the phrase "It's not your fault." It kinda is.

I love posts like hers which are accidentally somewhat redpilled in nature. it just goes to show that truths are truths; no matter you twist your interpretations the reality of the situation will remain unchanged.

Nah don't get involved, its never ever worth the drama. I also don't think men and women see logic in the same way, so get ready for some serious hamstering before she makes it about you. It's like a zoo: just watch and stare, with the occasional laugh.

Do it You mean keep a list of conquests? I mean, it's pretty weird (imo) but I do know a couple mates who keep a list.

simp - a man that puts himself in a subservient/submissive position under women in hopes of winning them over, without the female bringing anything to the table.

You're generalizing too. Funny how the brain works.

If you listen to the audio she basically throws a tantrum; it's always pretty funny seeing a grown adult behave like a petulant child. I'm guessing shes got the common sense of a 5, maaaybe 6, year old.

Instead of telling people to shut up about it why can't we have a nuanced discussion about why it's actually a really complicated issue?? Because tribalism is rampant in this sociopolitical climate. People will pick a side and argue to the death for it whilst never taking a single breath to consider the perspective of another. In every argument there's always at least one person who spins it towards sex or politics; that's when peaceful discourse dies.

I like this comment the most because it implies that one should still have bodily autonomy. It's your body and your life. Do what you will, and do what you want - free from judgement. OP's post was just a top reply from /r/SuicideWatch with a little of /r/MGTOW sprinkled on top. Some cheesy ass shit lol.

It seems even in /r/MGTOW no one talks about it. Not surprised though, I've seen a few too many posts on here that are just so critical and unsympathetic towards men with depression. Men (and women) put other men down for showing emotion (ie. "becoming weak"). This leads to future men who are suffering to do so in silence which leads to a vicious cycle of loneliness and eventually suicide (check suicide rates in construction or other male dominated fields). But yeah none of this means shit since…

You sound like you know what you're talking about. So I stand corrected.

Half of it is "alpha" stuff; the other half is basically a description of how to be chivalrous. And chivarly was a rule-set written by women about how men should behave with in regards to women. So there's your problem lol

Yes, absolutely. First point of reference when I learnt about this subject is look at the suicide rates in blue collar jobs (manual labour construction type). A huge issue in my country is "tradies" (colloquial term for above) committing suicide since they simply don't have the support system around them to cope (which is understandable).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
