There is a catch to that. Most schools (my highschool as a example) had a student handbook every year. Same crap every year. At the back was a page you were supposed to sign and if a minor have a guardian sign. It gives up all of your rights (in my case) I never turned it in so when they went to search my locker they couldn't. They will try to intimidate you. Stand your ground.
