Definitely had to be your routine. I bulked from 135lbs to 175lbs in 4 months. Drank 10 cups of chocolate milk a day. Total of roughly 3500 calories daily. Hit the gym 6 days a week chest/tri, back/bi and legs/shoulder (abcXabcX). At the end of the 4 months, yes i gained a lot of fat but i just looked thicker, bigger and stronger. Whatever dude. You keep reading your studies about what you can and can't do in a year. Meanwhile people who actually lift will be working towards those numbers as we speak. Put in the work and eat hard and you will hit those numbers in a year. I don't even think you lift. Or you do but aren't dedicated enough to follow a proper strength training routine nor count calories for a surplus.

Yeah and this is coming from a guy who started at 115lbs @ 6'0 and played WoW all day. As long as you bulk, you should hit those numbers within 6 months. If it takes you a year to hit at least a 2pl8 squat and a 3pl8 deadlift, you aren't eating enough and your routine is bad. In a year you can easily hit 1pl8 ohp 2pl8 bench 3pl8 squat and 4pl8 deadlift as long as you eat enough and follow a strength based routine.

It really depends on the individuals actual weight. When I was 150lb i could ohp 135, bench 200ish, squat 275 and dl 315 for 5. Those numbers arent that great but that was accomplished in about 4 months. Also depends on the routine and genetics.

Creatine did wonders for me when I was on it. Did a loading phase and then took regular dosage.
