Possible. I like being social. Wasn't always good at it. Now I feel I'm pretty good at it and can have a good interaction with pretty much everyone. But they get a weird feeling from me at some point and it goes off the rails. Still to this day haven't figured out a way to get past that.

The idea wasn't to get a girlfriend or get laid. It sounds like that's a jump right now. So just being around women and talking to them, treating them like people and getting comfortable being around them would be huge steps forward. Maybe. But I don't think about it or care how it sounds. Just asking if she can talk instead of text. Or even just say "call me". Sometimes she'll text and I'll just call without responding. But people have a tendency to text and not pick up the phone for calls. I also prefer phone conversations. So I keep texting to a minimum. There's no tone via text, it's easy for things to get misinterpreted.
