| 1 | Woman who cried rape after getting cold shoulder in Belfast nightclub is jailed for nine monthsThat's because that isn't how the law works. The defamation of his character is a civil matter, not criminal. Why (and how) would the criminal courts charge him with a civil offense? | /r/MensRights | 19/08/16 08:36 PM |
| 1 | Woman who cried rape after getting cold shoulder in Belfast nightclub is jailed for nine monthsYeah, that's generally not met well around here. If you point out stereotyping or false claims around here, you just get downvoted. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/16 08:34 PM |

| 1 | Woman who cried rape after getting cold shoulder in Belfast nightclub is jailed for nine monthsWhy? That doesn't logically make sense. | /r/MensRights | 19/08/16 08:29 PM |
| 7 | Woman who cried rape after getting cold shoulder in Belfast nightclub is jailed for nine monthsThis apathy for other people could be a symptom of any number of mental health problems. Narcissistic personality disorder, sociopathy, even a bad mania phase for a person with bipolar can cause enough recklessness to do something this stupid and short-sighted. The bad decision was a decision that she made, and she should be punished for that, but if her mental health problems continue to aggravate the situation, jail most certainly won't do anything to help her understand where she went wrong a… | /r/MensRights | 19/08/16 08:27 PM |

You aren't being downvoted and argued with because some trolls want to fuck with you, its because the things your saying aren't necessarily correct for all people. No one goes up to a random stranger and says "You're a rapist, dude". No one in the US has been conscripted since the 70s, in my country since the the 40s. | 3 | Found this on Facebook. Good to see people standing up for Father's DayYou mean "Do corporations try their damnedest to get you to buy any and everything because of a social requirement of pampering the given parent of that holiday?" Coporations don't give a shit about ideal. They just want you to buy their stuff, so they do whatever will sell the most of their stuff. | /r/MensRights | 18/06/16 06:35 PM |
| 3 | Please Stop Saying That Teacher "Had Sex With" Her Student - It's not sex, or an affair, or a scandal. It's rape. You think he understood the consequences of getting her pregnant? You think he understands the severity of parenthood and the consequences of those actions? Fuck no, the kid is 13. It doesn't matter whether or not he wanted to have sex with her, its about if he's able to deal with the consequences of those actions. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/16 08:16 PM |
| 3 | Please Stop Saying That Teacher "Had Sex With" Her Student - It's not sex, or an affair, or a scandal. It's rape. | 1 | Please Stop Saying That Teacher "Had Sex With" Her Student - It's not sex, or an affair, or a scandal. It's rape. I was the same way. I had a crush on multiple male teachers, starting at the age of around 11 or 12. I lost my virginity at 14, if it had been to one of those teachers, they would still be in jail to this day, but since it was someone the same age as me, its (somewhat) okay. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/16 08:10 PM |

| -4 | so trueI don't think you actually understand that comment or the idea of the "patriarchy". "Patriarchy" doesn't mean "men". They are not synonymous terms. Patriarchy means large scale ideology that men should be leaders, and women should be followers, and the roles and gender norms that come with that. That person never once said "men created the problem", they said "the commonplace ideology of patriarchy created the problem", which is true. Now saying that it isn't a feminist issue isn't true. The only way to change minds there is to do it gently, by politely objecting to many things we dislike here on /r/mensrights, but believe it or not, most of the people on that sub are very reasonable and honest when it comes to concerns about their views, but only as long as you approach it politely and with genuine interest, and not just looking to put them down. I used to say I was a feminist and a men's rights activist, but recently, I find myself not being able to relate or participate in a lot of the discussions here. This sub seems to cherry pick what it perceives feminism to be from the vocal radicals, similar to how people shun this sub for their vocal radicals. | -4 | Can't believe I was friends with someone who would post thisI don't think it is. I think /r/mensrights is a place to vent frustrations, more often than not, about feminism. The foreskin is designed to protect and sheathe an organ that has 10's of thousands of nerve endings compacted into it. It isn't an organ that was designed to be exposed, much less in constant contact with clothing like boxers or briefs. (x-post /r/news)A 9 year old kid liking My Little Pony, I can understand.. But as an adult and liking a show aimed at young girls so much that you have a title for yourself is a little weird.. I like the show, I watch it with my nieces all the time and even have a couple favourite episodes and I appreciate the values it teaches to little kids, but the whole brony thing is creepy. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/14 03:45 PM |

(x-post /r/news)Actually My Little Pony teaches young children a lot of good life lessons and values, even if creepy adult men kind of ruined it. He's a kid, what's wrong with him liking a kid's show as a kid? | /r/MensRights | 15/03/14 03:41 PM |

His ex-wife says she's entitled to some of it.raising their son, sending money I think it's at least fair to compensate for the money that she lost in the ordeal as well. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/13 03:08 AM |

| 3 | Video games and feminismYou're right, women don't necessarily have to be scantily clad in video games, no more than they need to be at slut walks or while dancing. It really is unfortunate that it has to be their way, and their way only. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/13 10:49 PM |
| 7 | Video games and feminismSee I don't understand the "sexualizing clothing" thing. If being scantily clad is a bad thing when men do it to fictional female characters, why are they so proud of their topless and even sometimes nude (self-titled) Slut-Walks? Wouldn't being scantily-clad "celebrate the female body" as well? | /r/MensRights | 12/03/13 10:16 PM |
| 3 | Saw this on Facebook. What?it doesn't fit in with what they want for their lives. We were just talking about this in my sociology lecture last night, that really is true for most women. Many women are often forced to chose between working high-earning, high-hours jobs and being involved with their family. The "mommy track" doesn't often involve CEO-type positions because that is a massive time and energy commitment that many women chose to do without. | /r/MensRights | 06/03/13 05:23 PM |

| 3 | TIL in The Vagina Monologues a 13-year-old girl is raped by a 24-year old woman, and it is referred to as "a good rape" & a healing experience. When a man at a newspaper wrote an article asking whI can't tell you if the real girl was in fact true or not because it has not been told to public who the girl is that this story belongs to. I can assure you that in the official script the girl is 16. Whether the age is true or not, the VM does not portray it as a positive thing in any way. | /r/MensRights | 07/02/13 09:31 PM |
| 0 | TIL in The Vagina Monologues a 13-year-old girl is raped by a 24-year old woman, and it is referred to as "a good rape" & a healing experience. When a man at a newspaper wrote an article asking whOkay just want to clear a few things up, I tracked down the script for this particular Vagina Monologue that we're talking about. Not that any of this changes the fact that these are unacceptable interactions between an adult and a young person, but some of the facts here are incorrect. Firstly, the Vagina Monologues are in no way portrayed as an instruction manual for what healthy sexuality looks like. It's merely giving women space to tell their stories, because they may never have had that op… | /r/MensRights | 07/02/13 02:43 PM |
| 85 | My sister is a feminist, I like to call myself a humanist because I want to be neutral, but stuff she posts like this just bothers the hell out of me.She does think I'm a rape apologist actually, but she seems to find it even worse because I'm a woman as well. She seems to think I'm betraying her by being logical. Edit: Made myself sound like a child, I assure you I am not. | /r/MensRights | 08/01/13 05:25 AM |
