Guy at the gym does and he brags about being confident, which he is. He doesn't put me or other guys down, so we are all cool. Focus more on face/skin care and social skills. I've been working out for 15 years and have a Rambo physique naturally. Women stare and compliment and had women in 20s hit on me, but guess what? Gym is the last place people will socialize, unless you join the fitness classes and get to interact with people. Try to join yoga etc classes in the gym and you will get to meet more people in those classes. Most people are too focused on getting their workouts and get out. If you like someone or wants to become friends with someone then compliment them or ask them for a spot on some lift. Carry on from here daily by small talks etc if they're open.
