I hope scouting reforms and regroups in some way. Being part of Scouting was a huge part of my childhood and gave me tons of skills many of the peers of my generation lack. I get there have been terrible people in there, but I truly believe the vast majority of people there are good. I wouldn't give up thoes expirences for anything.

Femenism aside, I don't get why any movement does defacement. It's always the last person who deserves it cleaning that mess up.

Word you're right, we will show them they're wrong.

This is progress. The fact they want to openly guide men to healthy outlets for their problems and are openly making space to do so is good. Cheers Reddit.

This. Finding Men's Rights and learning to record my violent abusive ex at every moment I could was what saved me in the long run. As a man you need to know you will need mountains of evidence to prove a woman is abusive.

The mind numbingness of seeing shit like this every day wears you down. This post was in r/all, I wasn't even looking for crap like this.

Using it as a litmus test for how far they need to go to control the narrative. Wanna say this was down voted and banned less than 10 seconds after post.

Good, if she can't be fired with all this evidence then every man everywhere is fucked.

Yup, escaped a super violent marriage and still got alot of my $ stolen before I put up protective barriers, literally would have been homeless without help from my family...

I was in the same situation, and was lucky enough to get a recording of the events (thanks to this community who taught me how careful you need to be in these situations as a man) . I hope you're finding a way to heal your mind brother, it's a tough journey to come back to level ground after things like this.

All day everyday here for you, my friends.

Thanks for the words, the women who laughed at me were friends of my ex wife's and mine from my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. I found the exchange very painful as less the a year ago I had been helping both of them with child care during busy times. It's really weird to have the narritaive of who you are defined by your abuser in your absence.

I know your pain friend. I was on the receiving end of DV from my ex wife, and never defended my self. Some people have literally laughed in my face when I explain I was hit and that's why the relationship had to ended. It's pretty freaky how large the section of society that minimizes the reality of violence towards men is... I also reached out in this sub to find some supportive voices, so just realize that this community is here for you and your health and recovery.

Thanks I go to therapy every other week, it helps keep me in decent spirits but the weight of that situation still sits heavy with me.

In the process of getting a divorce after my soon to be ex tried to smash my face in with a chair. I had never been more scared n my life and also knew if I even tried to defend myself I would likely end up "the aggressor". 8 months later what happened still freaks me out, and I'm not helped by some people who have laughed at what happened. The world can be a weird screwy place...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
