I think there's still a long way to go, in terms of equality, for both sexes, but we're heading in the right direction.

Cayenne pepper sauce works really well too.

Yeah didn't you know that? If you are drunk you can't legally buy anything. So go back to the bar and get your money back for all the rounds you bought when you were drunk! /s

Or your could move to somewhere that is not super expensive to live and do fine. 1 million at 4% interest is 40k a year. 40k a year is plenty here. And that's half what you would have with 2 Mil.

You shouldn't be pretending anything; you should build purpose in your life and act on it. That is what she finds attractive. And this is the entire point of life anyways. Figure out what you want, and then go for it. It's the true key to Happiness.

many, many countries in the world (especially the nordic ones) have excellent reform rates, so I'm not sure why you'd say that? http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2013/09/why-scandinavian-prisons-are-superior/279949/ here's a good article on the subject.

Well, and maybe figuring out how to reform these people so they understand how to be a part of society instead of just killing again or whatever.

But that almost never happens. If it did, nobody would hire men. I sure wouldn't.

I think the main problem is that the republican party can't get their heads out of their asses long enough to figure out how to get elected. They've completely alienated the majority of america and until that changes we're gonna have a democrat government, regardless of how bad their candidates are.

I can't disagree with that! But you've really gotta pick your battles and that wasn't one I had the energy to fight anymore.

Yeah I had to leave that subreddit for that reason. And any time I tried giving sensible/reasonable advice, all I got were downvotes and insane responses.

Yeah. Because no crime actually happened. The government should find better things to do with their time.

not that I'm pro child molester or anything, but I always thought that those charges were wrong. If there was no child. then wtf. It's two consenting adults roleplaying. (I still see why they do it though)

uh, sortof actually. You'd still be guilty of murder - but not of premeditated murder.

Traffic court is even worse. You don't stand a chance of having a fair trial if you are "dumb enough" to reject their plea bargain. Rock solid proof gets rejected and you get a harsher sentence and no time to pay, and a warning to not try fighting them again.

no, none of it is. It's like you didn't even read his post. That's not at all what is being stated.

except that /u/monkeyhousezen never said that it existed, you just read it that way to support your argument.

My favourite part of your conversation with /u/monkeyhousezen is how you ignore the facts and then restate your assumptions. Good conversation.

I have zero problem with jews/judiasm but man Israel is really hard to like. It blows my mind what their government thinks is right and wrong.

wat? no. Most feminists are not trying to spread hate and anger. Most feminists, btw, hate radfems just as much as everyone else.

well, if you compare to 50 years ago, sure - there are far more women in leadership positions than their used to be, but that's fine with me as long as they are good at it. The ridiculousness of our society to allow prejudice and cultural/sexual bias will be realized in time and it will eventually be sorted out. We tend to bounce between extremes a few times before settling on a happy middle.

ehh, I'm sure there's someone somewhere that has thought "kill all the women". Just like I'm sure the few women that would like all the men dead are in a ridiculously tiny minority.
/r/MensRights03/02/13 04:06 PM

I always think it's funny if you continue the line of thought beyond that. if they killed all the men, where do new women come from?

the whole equal rights vs patriarchy paradox blows my mind. Which one is it? Either men and women are equal, or we're not. Either A: there is no patriarchy, or B: Men are superior because they created one. I feel like presenting a femnazi with this paradox would make their head explode.

tutoring has always worked for math with me. Like, 2 hours of 1 on 1 tutoring at my school and I learn more than I learn in a whole semester of sitting in a classroom.

semantics. Get over it. If you get offended because someone misworded something, you're gonna have a bad time. The meaning of his post was obvious, and not at all what you got out of it.

I have never understood how there can be grants for girls only/minoritys only. If I start the national white men only college fund I'm pretty sure I'd end up on the news and whathaveyou pretty quickly as a racist/sexist/whatever.
