It got bad. It’s still bad. Only because there’s kids in the mix. Everytime I have regret though, I have trouble imagining still surviving in that scenario

That’s a messed up assumption though. I went through something similar. I’ve always been a fitness enthusiast. I had installed a full home gym for us. She was averse to exercise. Lost so much naturally, said fuck it and put twice that back on. 5’2, weighed as much me at an athletic 6’ When someone actively chooses to say “fuck my appearance” or “rather than exercise I’m going to buy a bigger size wardrobe” That shit is really, really off putting. If there’s other marital troubles there’s a lot o…

Character assasination, false allegations, attempted alienation. My kids have begged her to give me more time. She has the power, she’s gullible enough to let her attorney push her around but she’s not stupid enough to think she’s not in control when she’s literally paying his fees 🤦🏼‍♂️ I am a good dad. I coached my kids all their lives. I now coach them individually until I find a new league that she hasn’t had me exiled from. I can go on and on and on 😢

Short answer: yes Long answer: it’s absolutely terrible and what makes it worse is I would rather have more time with them, spending that money on stuff I know they need, then letting them sometimes just get something they want. It’s agonizing. And it’s expensive

Dude fuck off. I went 39 years untreated and finally got the medicine I needed, and my productivity, focus, and overall mood is better than ever. I’m not as dependent on other medications because I’m now treating the root cause. You don’t have to like Big Pharma to understand how and why some medicines work and are necessary for some brain types. Just do some research before spouting off, especially when the post is about a kid struggling, and a dad trying to do his best in a shitty situation. J…

I waited in hopes she would come around to amicable resolution after I told her there wasn’t really any way around this given our history. A few months later I was blindsided with papers and false allegations. My life hadn’t been right since. That was like 20 months or so ago

We’re in NO rush to marry, but I’ve been seeing someone for over a year. We’re STILL (my demon ex) fighting and finalizing a long ass contentious divorce that started almost 2 years ago. But what’s automatically different is that she makes me a better man. Not through fighting or pestering me much, mostly by just being an example. What I mean is, she has helped me become more organized, more on time, better with budgeting, lovingly encouraged me when I said I wanted to seek help and a diagnosis …

My divorce has been dragging on in court for almost 2 years. I’ve been living on my own for about 19 months. I met someone about 6-7 months into the divorce process. I was honest about it. We celebrated a year together end of February, I’ll be moving in with her when my lease is up. Neither of us are thinking “marriage’ right after my divorce is finalized. That’s silly, and really only benefits come tax time. We’re going to cohabitate and live together, blend our families more, and THEN consider…

Same here bro. I’ve accepted that some of this will never heal. There’s parts of me that have been killed from this, they’re not coming back. The shock, the trauma, the fight or flight mode I live in nowadays - There’s going to be everlasting scars when this is over. I have a psychiatrist and a therapist now. So at least there’s that, they might be able to help me compartmentalize better when this is finally finished, but I won’t ever be quite the same as I was

It’s just not fucking fair man. I was/am a really good and loving father. Everyone who knows me or anyone who even sees me with them knows this. They are mini-me’s, they’re not like her. They need me and I need them, and the court system is so fucking biased. I thought people need a burden of proof to ruin your life? Nope. Just make up some shit apparently. I guess I should have thought of that but I don’t know how I’d be able to look myself in the mirror if I did

Morning, evening, afternoon - doesn’t matter. The demons are always there. I work out more often than I should because it’s one of the few things that can drown out the screaming regret and grief. I don’t miss her. I miss seeing my boys in person everyday. I miss being a full time dad, and I hate that we couldn’t have done this split civilly in a way that kept everyone as present in their lives. There’s no bandaid for this hurt.

This is extremely true. Luckily my oldest is realizing he’s been used as a weapon against me, and even my 5 year old knows this is wrong. The lies, the accusations, the exaggerated embellishments……it just destroyed me for a point. But NEVER STOP FIGHTING. My boys see me happier than ever with a good relationship now. They don’t see fighting and name calling and think that’s normal. So, yes, this sucked massively and still does. But it WILL end and they WILL figure out the truth about their mothe…

I’m biased because I hate these weight loss injections, and was literally just bitching about their ads to my GF, as we’re both very into fitness. Holy shit. The disclaimers they need about not sharing needles, the list of side effects, the risks, etc - I would not be surprised if some of these drugs lower inhibition, and just fuck with the body too much in general. This is NOT how the general population is supposed to be losing weight

Self-Improvement is never going to be the easiest thing. It’s altering yourself to be the better version of you, and sometimes that’s an emotional shit show. But you’re not doing it for women. You’re not doing it for dating. You do that shit for you. After you do that, because that’s the best way to try to live life IMO (be healthy and keep your headspace well adjusted) dating and the world around you just becomes simpler to navigate.

I see my psychiatrist once a month. My therapist once a week. You have no idea what the spectrum really looks like. My cousin is completely non-verbal. My niece most likely will me too. My other cousin is extremely high functioning, you can’t really tell except for her dating life. I have severe ADHD. I don’t have a full autism diagnosis, I’m going by what my doctor said. There’s routines, fabric sensitivities, sounds, certain social settings, circumstances, etc that trigger me more than others.…

How was it easy? I grew up overweight. I was shy. I was never one of the super cool kids. Then I started getting in trouble, experimenting with and selling drugs, and having that stoner/bad boy image which really didn’t do me any long term favors. I did aggressive inline skating and basketball growing up, but I couldn’t even play HS ball really due to grades, behavior, etc. I watched how people interacted, and after high school just kind of started trying to be more “approachable” and confident.…

Because I don’t ever have to play that game. Nor will I. In my adult life, I’ve always gone to the gym, gotten my hair cut, experimented with different styles, etc - and I’ve done it FOR ME. What hoops? My GF makes about 30k more a year than me. I have only dated a few girls who made less. I’m just not insecure in that at all. I will stay in the best shape, because I was not in shape as a kid, and I like the way it feels. I like mobility as I age (I’m 39). I like still competing in things. I wan…

What about the women who can see you as a provider, but still sleep with you right away? Does that make you the “provider” or the “alpha” or some anomaly. Honest question for civil discourse. You had an appropriate response that was well thought out and not full of misogyny or criticism of anyone, I applaud that. I just want to know what red pill thinks of things like that, as there are exceptions to every rule. Or is it just that? That there are exceptions to every general stereotype but you be…

I would bet that blue (sometimes purple) pills like me get laid a lot more by just understanding women are people, they’re just as capable, and that SOME aspects of traditional old school masculinity is bad for society. So, I mean, you guys do you, and complain about unfairness to whoever wants to hear it. But please, those who stand by this, please don’t make any “woe is me, women are bad cause they don’t like me” posts.

This is stupid and takes all the legitimate humanity out of dating. If you want to date online, use something that allows conversation, not a fucking down payment. I’m looking for a partner, not a new car. This is silly horse-shit guised as a “solution” to a problem that barely exists

Your last sentence actually reminded me of my gf of almost a year. This is a merger. She’s so damn independent and data/statistic driven that within weeks she was talking about how compatible we can be on a long term basis given that all relationships are at least SOMEWHAT made up of small compromises Especially for those of us in our mid 30’s or older - You don’t want just a relationship if you’re like me, you want a life long partnership that works, because both people have already looked into…

You’re putting every guy who’s had it easy with women, and great dating success, in a very narrow box. Some of us had hookup phases, but much prefer relationships over that.

All of this generalization and stereotypes without merit must be all people in their 20’s. This is comical at this point. I’m a guy who had options. I had hookups. I chose my partner like she chose me, the “thrill of the hunt” or the novelty of new girls I can barely recall the name of got old a long time ago. Stop thinking everything you’re seeing on your algorithm is going to be applicable to most of the real world, please. You’ll be better off for it

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 04:12 AM

100% concur with points. Met my current GF of almost a year on the apps, had plenty of hookups in the prior times on the app, but also have plenty of experience just meeting girls on the street downtown (Chicago area ) or in bars (when I used to drink)
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 02:17 AM

This is true, but when you get into that perpetual beach body shape, abs pop year round and you’re athletic, but you don’t make that your identity - I’ve found that a lot of women appreciate it. There’s a good portion of men who neglect their shape, hygiene, skin care, etc. When you’re in shape, you don’t neglect the rest because it feels like the work is useless if the rest of you looks crappy. I think there’s a correlation in there
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/26 03:24 PM

12% of the US population is considered Fit. You’re not going to get the best advice on Reddit. I decided to get in shape for myself at 20-21. I’m 39 now and it’s an essential part of my lifestyle for aesthetics, but more importantly for health, mobility, and longevity. A lean muscled, athletic body shape can definitely increase your success. And it will do wonders for your self confidence

I can list all my negative traits. This stuff isn’t all roses. I’m just talking about success with women. It’s not easy, but it is simple. It’s not like I make a bunch of money or anything. I really, really don’t. I have ADHD that I only recently got treated after decades of ignoring/self medicating. I’m divorced, and still awaiting the full asset buyout check. I don’t even own a home anymore; just renting. My gf makes significantly more and does own her home, on her own. However, I am a good li…

That’s been my experience as a generally attractive, good shape guy who’s also fairly chivalrous. I could have turned any of the hooks ups into relationships instantly, because I’m generally a good person. I don’t want to be seen as something JUST to be fucked either, at least not by women that would really interest me (if I was still single). I may have had somewhat of this semi jaded mindset in my 20’s, in promiscuous periods between breakups when I was going to bars and getting drunk to take …

For OLD, I just had to make a decent profile and be honest. I became single fully like last January, dated through that month and a bit of February, then met my now gf/future wife on March 1st and that was a wrap. I’m a creative jock type, so I’m quick witted with messages and have some “appealing to most eyes” pictures. I KNOW that both of those gave me a tremendous advantage over most. I’m also not shy, I’ll kind of just talk to people. In real life, things were fairly similar, except I had to…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 04:33 AM

Just so you know, this is a peer-reviewed article just made by someone who essentially needed a medical “thesis” paper. You’d need an EXTREMELY large sample size to figure that out, and even then there’s going to be shifts depending on who’s in office at what time. My god, do you have any brain cells?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 03:55 AM

I don’t need to lie. I have recent test results. I’m 39. I am 175lbs, about 10% BF. I lift and run daily. My sports don’t need me to be big. I have a year round beach body instead thanks to soccer and basketball. Good try. You sound like you’re a really immature 26, 27 year old maybe. Being generous there. You’ll grow up one day
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 03:52 AM

I’m High T, both total and free test, and I’ve been with more women than I can remember. I’m also in a very solid monogamous relationship, and I’m a very caring, empathetic, and loving partner who prefers to treat women with kindness and decency. Just like I would treat most people, but with a bit more “gentlemanly nature” as that’s instilled in me from 20+ years of relationships. Your argument is simply wrong and not based in any science. I truly am sorry, your generation has it harder than mine did. We didn’t start dating when there was OLD, and when OLD did come out we were the first on it, and a lot of us mastered that shit. SO MANY hookups and relationships came from that after I stopped drinking/ going to bars. Even when I was, there was just a constant stream of people to flirt with and sift through. Oh dude, I was into drugs and fighting as well as playing sports by the age of 15. Still a stoner but with a corporate office job, and a healthier way of partaking. I was also making music, so that entire “bad boy artsy jock” thing got me more than enough attention from women. My blue pill nature was always there. I always believed and was taught in chivalry, treating women more gently, and don’t hit women. I don’t believe it was ever because “women are just good”. It’s because both my dad and grandfather were bigger men, and if they ever hit a woman they’d be doing serious damage. I used to box. I know how to throw hands. The same thing applies. Now, there’s an asterisk; you can defend yourself if you’re being viciously attacked, but if she slaps you, don’t slap her back. It’s not worth it and you’ll nev…

I think misogyny in any way is bad. I think toxic masculinity is bad. Maybe the people themselves are nuanced, but those view points are inherently bad and unhealthy for society. In the last decade, more men than ever have started blaming their problems and their loneliness on women. They can’t find a partner, and it’s the world’s fault. Very few of them take the time to go to therapy, read different viewpoints, look into some sociological study, get a better understanding of the dynamics, and w…

I would never be a second option. But I also know I’m confident enough to project that. The bottom line comes down to confidence. Why do you feel like you’re someone’s second choice? What insecurities are eating at you? For me, I’m always more concerned about keeping up with my self improvement to maintain the spark and relationship. Finding someone to initially desire me is easy. But all successful partnerships take work over time to maintain that spark and it goes far deeper than “I still want…

Its not a job. It’s a want. I desire to take care of my partner. She desires to take care of me. We both have strong suits, especially where one might struggle more, that’s what makes us a good team. Your entire idea of relationships is odd and if you’re single, you may want to revamp it

You can blame her all you want, but at the end of the day it was cowardice. By your logic, if anyone ever threatens your partner you should just run, because they might use lethal force That’s a big if, and it’s regardless of the fact that a man should WANT to protect his woman.

Just slightly above that if I can recall, can confirm. It’s never been a problem, women seem to like it, but it has way more to do with how I use it and the attention spent on THEM. The extra inch above average isn’t making life easier in any way

I grew up in a church. I’d much rather help those single moms than live in a world where everyone is so damn judgey. I’m a straight white guy who grew up in an urban area, I’m literally good anywhere. But I have friends of other ethnicities and sexual orientations and the more religious the community the more frightened they are of it. For a good reason. Christianity has been hijacked by one side of the political aisle and turned into hate mongering. The hallmark channel in the early 2000’s did …

For low status beta men as you call them. And the idea is so misguided. I don’t believe in alpha vs beta. I believe in confident vs not confident. That’s what attracts women. Do you know how many lazy or barely employed guys get laid? A lot. Because despite that they’re still confident in their attitude. This desire to try to equalize men the dating pool just screams of a desperation and a need for more self improvement and less “woe is me”

About 5’11, very fit, Caucasian, liberal, suburbs of a predominant Midwest city, I have the social skills of a politician (in a good way, the charisma and ability to talk to anyone), and in my opinion my gf of 7 months is gorgeous. She’s got a very athletic body as well. I met her on hinge. I was on there for 2 months. I got a few solid dates, a few not great ones, and then found her. You must be seriously projecting. Recognizing I did dumb shit doesn’t make me regret it. Luckily, no one got really hurt and I’m a better person because of it. I don’t do drugs at all ( besides weed, legal and medical) or drink whatsoever because I have it all out of my system. I have no time or need after work to do anything but spend time with loved ones, help kids, train, and play my sports. That’s not guilt. That’s not subconscious. That’s my life and I’m good with it.

I’ve found that younger women liked the bad boy thing, but it wasn’t the bullshit, it was the exuded confidence. I didn’t give a fuck. I’m older now. Women do NOT respect a man who still does that shit. They DO like a “reformed” bad boy, who’s still got a bit of an edge but has truly matured in his behavior, personality, emotional IQ, etc. I think they find it interesting, and I don’t “look the part” anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 02:35 AM

I can also attest. I’m glad I don’t remember a few very well, and some at all, but there’s at least a few where if I let myself look back, it’s a giant “WTF bro” in my now sober mind

You described me. I have no issues dating. I can get female attention really easily, and have done the casual string of encounters many times. But so often I was doing it hoping to find someone I really click with. I’m built, in terms of mentality and chemical balance, for a good relationship with one person I can grow this. You’re definitely meeting different women than I am. My current gf is so independent she stayed single by choice for a couple years at a time to make sure no one intruded on her peace or finances. Almost all of the women I’ve dated made more than me, and never cared at all, and I’ve ALWAYS had a g/f or a string of FWB’s since I was 13. I’m in my mid 30’s now. I guess I still wonder what kind of women you’re meeting. I can take a pretty large number for my example pool and not find too many similar flaws in each to concurrently say “most women need to change x and y” I dunno, I feel like a lot of women do most things equating to emotion and people better than we do, and if we observed enough and put our egos aside we would probably go so much further in our relationships with everyone (IMO)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 02:37 PM

While that may be true, what women are you meeting that have no emotional intelligence and have no wardrobe/fashion sense? Just alluring to your previous post, out of curiosity. Most girls I know/meet, if they’re not overweight or generally ugly, they put decent effort into their looks and have more emotional IQ than most men. Most females do TBH

You mean why should someone have to work to be in shape and be concerned with self improvement? If that’s an honest question that guys ask themselves I have no pity for them being alone. I do it, and I was dating well before I was in great shape or cared an iota about real self-awareness so, I mean, yea. You get out what you put in a lot of the time, and that modicum extends to effort in dating
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 01:31 PM

Welp, I’m 38. I’ve been successfully dating on and off apps forever. Most have been pretty fulfilling relationships. I think I’m with the one I’ll be with now, but before we met I was dating and going against some gen Z guys so to speak…… It was easy 🤷‍♂️ That’s the benefit of growing up without all the screens though IMO. Enhanced in person skills

No, actually I used to associate with someone who was the opposite. Everyone had to stop bringing him out because anytime he got rejected he’d start calling women wh*res and carried himself with an air of misogyny. He just never took the time to work on style, social skills, charisma, read some books, get the right haircut, etc. Do all of the above and hit the gym hard. You knock the difficulty setting of life down just a notch. And socializing becomes super easy. A switch really.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 06:35 PM

I gotta be honest, as an older millennial looking in who’s never had issues with socializing or women - I think men are sabotaging themselves

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 04:24 PM

I only come here to try to understand the thinking and personality of the men who can’t really get dates. After a little while there’s so many commonalities but it seems to come down to a general disdain for women and almost a jealousy of the female dynamic? Someone help me understand. How did this happen lol??
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 04:23 PM
1

On the flip side, as a man with female friends, they’re so much more emotionally intelligent and great at sound boarding with than most men. I truly get along better with women in general because too many guys are concerned with being “tough” or have the emotional maturity of a toddler, or have some sort of bias against some group of people that I just can’t get past (bigotry is a massive pet peeve to say the least). I don’t see those traits in most women
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/25 04:17 PM

I don’t understand for the life of me why this is difficult for men to understand. Do this, and you’ll date.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 06:51 PM

You’re basically right. They want an independent man who might “need” them in certain capacities (IE I love you, you bring me peace). They like to feel appreciated and needed in that sense. But they don’t want to have to prop you up, be your sole reason for happiness, your only interest, etc etc etc. Women are attracted to men who can “need” a bit from them, return what they need, but still be perfectly self sufficient in his own being.

That’s very limiting to education. I’m more intelligent than most people I come across. I don’t have an undergraduate degree because after I got my associates I enrolled in a music specific school. I am extremely well read on most subjects one would want to discuss, but I can also tell you how to write, produce, create, record, and then mix and release a song. Or men could just do some self improvement and educate themselves too. Not all higher education has to come in the form of college classes. There’s enough resources out there to educate yourself on any one topic to be able to have an intelligent discussion about things if you desire to be with an intelligent woman

There’s a massive difference between being emotionally intelligent and occasionally vulnerable and being CONFIDENT enough in yourself to do so, vs coming off like a crybaby b*tch to put it bluntly. If you come across and do the former, THAT is what women generally love

Chivalry has died but many women still appreciate it. We hear, but we don’t listen very well. We could stand to be more empathetic. Sometimes, women need to vent, they don’t need a solution from us. A large portion of our gender is intellectually intelligent but emotionally stagnant in their growth. There’s a lot to be said for self awareness and emotional IQ. We struggle to be vulnerable, and that’s necessary. These are things I’ve learned from my platonic female friends when they complain abou…

I have a gf. I have NEVER had an issue dating/hooking up I treat all women the same. I have a number of platonic female friends. So many of you just need more confidence and to understand one simple thing - just like you and I, women are just people. Once you understand what their everyday life is like with men constantly saying something or sliding into DM’s, you no longer question any of this stuff and you know exactly what to do to stand out.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/25 02:40 AM

As a man with a very independent gf who requires nothing from me personally besides my own ability to be independent and to be a caring partner, I would give this an award if I wanted to pay Reddit. Very well said. Women don’t need men the way they used to, but we’re biologically driven to need women more. You need to bring more to the table than a job and the ability to say hi.

100% this. People skills are people skills. They translate across the board. If you can have a conversation with the random person next to you confidently at the grocery store, no matter who they are, you can pull women. Sometimes it’s just a matter of refining your wardrobe, haircut, ways you initiate conversation, etc. If you feel too awkward to talk to strangers in general, that’s an off putting character trait that is evident to both men and women. I don’t feel like this is accurate at all. How do standards and traits not correlate in your eyes? Maybe I just need clarification, but to me if someone has those traits they meet the standards, and then it’s a matter of that unexplainable “it” or “x” factor for each individual and how they pair

Holy shit That might be the most accurate descriptor. I thought I was immature after my divorce, so I tried to date a bit younger (28-32). The girls not truly established yet, it did kind of feel like we were interviewing each other rather than enjoying each other’s company. One of my platonic female friends said my ex was just damaging and I should try moving it up a couple years. No offense taken. I’ve been dating since I was 12 years old. I had a 5 year relationship in high school, then a small single period, then another LTR for 6 years, then a longer single period. I married a narcissistic person on accident, went to therapy, ended that marriage, worked on myself, started dating again. That’s when my eyes opened to the above 30 vibe compared to dates I went on with girls who were in their late 20’s. For the most part, it was just different. I’m built for relationships…

This is possibly the most accurate take. If you were “good” at dating before or in spite of it all, you’re having an easier time now. If you struggled with dating before it was predominantly online, or when OLD was in its infancy, it’s much harder now that it’s an established and non-stigmatized thing. Good point sir

I’m nowhere near top 1% in anything, maybe top 10% in terms of shape but I make like 60k a year. I have no issues dating or matching with women who make more than me. Only one person ever said they truly wanted to be financially taken care of, I said I couldn’t do that, and we parted amicably before dating. So much of it is just being able to talk. Especially if you’re over 30 - these women have established themselves and truly just want a partner and a confidante, to love and be loved properly.…

Yea I don’t know. As a single dad in his 30’s, I find it way easier to date and relate to other people with kids. When I was dating single women there was a constant wonder if they’d understand, how they’d be towards kids, etc. I have enough issues with my ex, I don’t need my love life under a microscope so I try to pick good partners. This is true, but to my point - there is something attractive about a beautiful female who can show the tender side (especially in the above caveat) Though I do agree that when I was young and single, it never stopped me from hooking up with them but I always felt a little weird knowing I was not going to be step dad material at that point and there was nothing about the “having kids” part that got me. They were either hot and willing or they were not attractive. The rest was secondary back then

There’s a caveat to this - if a dad is very involved with his kids, if he was to date a woman who also has kids she may be more understanding of the prioritization and importance of time management and constraints. Just for debate sake
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 04:33 AM

Best comment on here. Eventually you get so good at talking to people in general that the ease in which you strike up a conversation with a woman and then can quickly turn a random guy next to you, point at some sports stat and quip at the screen, and go right back to her. That kind of easy going conversational nature, once developed, is pure gold. If you can do this and be remotely good looking you’ll have success meeting people

This is so true. I only want to have sex with girls I find attractive, which rules out like 50% of the population already (I’m not attracted to overweight girls, I like fit ones)

Damn. I just peruse this from time to time to see the varying opinions. I’ve been married/taken for like 8 years but I always thought dating was easy for any guy really willing to try. I was social as hell, still am, so meeting/dating girls was also very much one after another. Not really any lulls in there in my life. The only person I remember having trouble was a 2nd cousin who’s like 40 and a virgin last I heard, but he was always this red-pilled “women are all the problem” type of guy. Real…

There’s no way that’s a real stat is it? Or even close? That only 20% of dudes can date easily?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 12:06 AM

Oh no bro, not a relationship. There’s a lot of single moms who go out one weekend care free and the kids are at so and so’s. That can be a GREAT weekend for you
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 07:04 PM

Lol nah man if you say you’re above average I’ll believe ya. I was too before kids. Body never changed though, just got better. I’m an independent liberal who sometimes peruses conservative subs so I have the mental tolerance for the insanity, sometimes I just have to scratch my head still…. I’m dead serious about that single mom juice box thing though. Try it before you settle down
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 06:08 PM

Maybe so, but by that description in the real world it sounds fairly average. Now if you elaborated and said your BMI was healthy, but irrelevant, because you’re 192 with only 11% body fat or something, that’s getting into a little bit more of the above average territory I would say. But I dunno. I find all of these discussions pretty weird. I think most red pill men are nuts, I don’t know what purple even stands for, and only half the women’s comments make sense to me. I don’t belong here Also …

I don’t know where these statistics from but any bar that’s known for being a good party spot is going to be full of guys and girls who hook up. I used to frequent those places, I know for a fact. Obviously some do better than others but unless I just happen to live in areas that have a better percentage of men who know how to take care of themselves, it sounds kind of fucked. Women want a guy who can make them laugh. Who’s confident. Who’s ideally strong enough to make them feel safe. Who has s…

That’s why I don’t feel like this applies to most. That group that you mentioned (30, single, possibly a virgin, fat, etc etc etc) is a pretty niche group of people. It’s growing because as a society we’re getting worse at social interaction but it’s still niche. And I honestly believe anyone with the balls and the determination to take the first steps and stick with it can easily bump themselves from let’s say a 4 to a 7 on a “rating scale” so to speak. Which increases your odds of being with w…

How the hell is someone 30, fat, unattractive, living with their mom, and NOT trying to change?? Go to a gym. Get fit. Get a skin care routine. Use lotion regularly. Dress better. Boom. A lot of problems get fixed that way. Personal responsibility is the problem with most of these men. I have my own set of issues, but this incel “woe is me” crap has gotten OLD. It’s so easy to work on people skills and get good socially, and the process to get fit (which makes you more attractive off the bat) is…

You need to define sexually inexperienced more. Even as a dude, if I meet somebody and then I hear he’s 30-35+ and still a virgin, I start to scrutinize. It’s just kind of weird and usually points to a lack of social skills unless it’s a purely religious conviction. If I’m seeing that with no desire to date (straight dude) then why wouldn’t women question that??

Most of the legitimate advice given is shit that should have been developed or picked up over the course of one’s life through trial and error, observation, etc. I’m kind of scared for the future generations

Man here - I just like being objectified. I’m in great shape, I work to maintain my appearance, and I like being appreciated strictly in an aesthetic/vanity way when it happens. It also happens 10x less to me as a conventionally attractive man who’s great with women than it does to even a marginally attractive girl that’s socially awkward. So, I would imagine they get pretty fucking bored with it over time. It’s been happening since they grew tits if we’re all being honest here

It’s easy to find a real woman to complain to me, bitch about work, etc. Why the fuck would I want a computer to do the same thing? Wake me up when there’s anatomically correct sex dolls with human-like feel and maybe I’ll have some input
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 05:05 PM

Most men you’re describing have failed to develop the self confidence and maturity to seem appealing to the women in question, to the point where they’d rather be single. These men haven’t developed the social skills to where they’re good at not only conversing with the woman, but can also make her friends like him. That’s pretty key. So, the women saying “improve yourself” aren’t wrong, they’re just not able to give you the specifics.

You’re not wrong. I was promiscuous. I don’t want to hear my wife’s past and I GUARANTEE she doesn’t want to hear all about mine. It’s just a non-necessity

That’s exactly it. The number sounds like a lot, but who the fuck needs an exact number? This question is odd to me, it doesn’t make sense why A. That is considered a lot if you break it down and B. Why anyone in a dating conversation would produce exact numbers when it can so easily be said without that “shock” value

You’re almost talking in the vein of relationships. You’re completely forgetting hook-up culture. When I was single, most of my one night stands and weekend flings were from cold approaches at the bar. There are a lot of bars and certain club type places that both women and men go to, looking to get drunk but hoping to get laid. I’ve gone with female friends and we’re both hoping to meet someone of the opposite sex for a fun, no strings kind of night. A lot of those interactions were based upon …

That’s a super weird article. Studies are so inherently flawed too since a lot of men do like size 0, size 1 - petite and fit girls. And on the other hand a lot of men like chubbier girls. It’s never going to be cut and dry.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 03:52 PM

This is definitely not true. People’s preferences have nothing to do with their hormonal levels. I get my blood done regularly. I’m on TRT for recovery, I’m an athlete. I KNOW what low T and high T feel like. I also KNOW they’ve never once had an impact on my preference for skinny/lean women. The ONLY difference is higher T increases libido, so you’re more likely to look at a chubbier girl and think “maybe she’d but fun” when you wouldn’t normally do so often.

It sounds like you’re also just a fairly normal dude. You don’t really put thought into it, you just try to have a conversation with someone you feel like you might want to have a conversation with. If they’re not interested, no big deal, you move on with your day. This is exactly why I hooked up with as many girls as I did before marriage. No overthinking. No giving a fuck about a “rejection”. This. I’m a man and can 100% tell other men this is true. I’ve been with a lot of women and had a ton of platonic female friends, and we’d talk about this shit. Is this post from experience? It doesn’t sound like it. It sounds like a lot of merged complaints together, but without real world context. It’s very easy to read a room. It’s very easy to tell if someone is open to conversation, especially in a social setting. If you’re constantly approaching girls who don’t even seem like they’re open to talking, that’s one thing……. You’re implying that being stoic and being gregarious are single-handed traits and one cannot possess both. I’ve had great success with many women. Because I am self confident and calm, but I also know when to turn “it” on and try to be the life of the party, talk to everyone, and make new friends for the moment. Women like someone who’s secure enough to be calm but confident enough to be extroverted. It’s much more comfortable to bring that guy out to meet your friends than the guy who’s ONLY s…

Generally speaking, we only have casual sex with women we consider ugly when we’re drunk. At least in my experience. The hot girls aren’t at the bar on whatever night so you up the shots and wait for the goggles. That was pretty much it for the party period of my 20’s. And they all had to have a redeeming factor ya know? Ugly but nice tits, chunky but has a cute face, whatever. Men are pretty simple creatures when it comes to sex. I’m a fit guy. I find fatness very unattractive since I believe a lot of it can be counteracted with lifestyle changes. I perceive a lot of overweight people as having made and settled with that choice, and that’s a huge turn off. It’s a physical and mental attraction to fit girls. They obviously look stunning and shapely, but it also shows a level of commitment and adherence to something that we have in common
