The uk is currently having to release prisoners three months early because the prisons are full. There's no way anyone is going to be enforcing this. So why say it? To make women believe the government is trying to tackle misogyny and keep their seats. The government can't even tackle perpetrators of DV; this is just blustering.

I don't think the loss of rights for someone is a good thing for anyone. If someone has more rights than someone else we should strive to give them equal rights in whatever way is possible instead of taking them away. Abortion being illegal now means more men unwillingly becoming fathers. That is still a net negative for men, for mothers and for their children. This change benefits no one.
/r/MensRights10/04/24 04:39 PM

If abortion is illegal it just means accidental pregnancies will be carried to term. While the man doesn't get any say in this there are instances where the man and the woman agree to terminate. If abortion is illegal these instances no longer occur. This is not a male win, it is a loss on all sides.

Jones wasted no time in advocating for a pivotal shift in Bumble’s core model, wanting to eliminate the requirement for women to send the first message. “It feels like a burden for a subset of our customers today,” Jones told Fortune. The company plans to experiment with various iterations of this change, aiming for a revamped app launch in the second quarter of 2024. The jokes really write themselves.

Using reasonable force against intruders You can use reasonable force to protect yourself or others if a crime is taking place inside your home. This means you can: protect yourself ‘in the heat of the moment’ - this includes using an object as a weapon stop an intruder running off - for example by tackling them to the ground There’s no specific definition of ‘reasonable force’ - it depends on the circumstances. If you only did what you honestly thought was necessary at the time, this would prov…

If I was putting on my cynical goggles I'd say the government is trying to make their rape statistics look better. By making consent even more retractable it will lead to more guilty verdicts; making the generally appallingly low conviction rate for rape look more appropriate for feminist voters.

A 22-year-old man who had his penis lopped off in a botched circumcision at age ten has had a compensation award of £500,000 reduced to just £20,000 after the Malay government successfully appealed against his claim. The unnamed victim reportedly lost roughly 90 per cent of his penis during the op that took place at the local hospital in his hometown of Kuala Lipis, Malaysia, on December 13, 2010.

In this case a combination of the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction. Everything about this has been suspicious. Why are witnesses withdrawing? What is this new evidence? We will likely never know.

I was using the study to show the disparity in hours worked between genders. I was going to give time and energy to having a healthy debate on sociological systems and statistics but you accused me of being racist and sexist. On average, women work roughly 500 hours less than white men every year. White men work 2300 and women work 1800 hours every year on average. There isn't much difference between the races of women in the study I found. This data excludes non earners and has an age range of 25 - 54. Given such, we would expect men to be bringing home more money every year due to working more hours. Men work roughly 30% more so we would expect them to make 30% more. This data doesn't include overtime or unsociable…

Women account for the majority of workers in a third of major U.S. industries. Yet, they are underrepresented among managers and executives in all but one of those, Underrepresented meaning there are less women in managerial positions than there are within the entire workforce of a company. Even if this number exceeds 50%, meaning the workforce is still majority women. Additionally, the one category in which there are more women managers than workers conveniently is the broadest one. Firstly, feminists claim false rape accusations either don't exist or are an extreme minority of cases. This is an affront to those claims because of how many a single individual can make before any investigation. Secondly, it highlights how feminism has caused police forces to adopt a believe all women perspective where a woman can have a male arrested without evidence and under false pretences. In this case he was arrested for three months. Next, it signifies the lengths these women will go to…

It's a publicity stunt. Maybe more people will watch the 'sport' if we allow a woman to compete despite not earning her way into the competition based on skill. It worked for darts although Fallon earned her spot in that competition. Executives will happily change the rules if it will get them more viewers and therefore more money. People will tune in to watch her complete and whether she wins or loses it will bring the medium back into the public eye via news articles and discussion.

Richardson's allegations led to officers carrying out 60 investigations, with one of the men she accused being arrested and made to undergo forensic examination. how many times exactly are women better of? What %? Couldn't the same be said for all countries? You just explained why the metric used is a bad manipulation of data. Sexual harassment and rape are quite different. Your own personal experiences are unlikely to be reflective of the rest of the population. I'm a victim of false rape allegations. Her goal was simply to get me fired after I dumped her, she succeeded. But our own personal experiences cannot be proven, so they add very little to the discussion. The genders were reversed. Except the men's post wasn't linking to a porn site and didn't feature sexualised content on their profile. Which is the only point that matters in this situation. So actually, the genders were not reversed. If the men's post linked to their onlyfans account and featured dick pics then I would agree. But that wasn't the case.

Home Office officials are working with police forces on a new procedure for officers to record the sex of criminals to ensure crime statistics are ‘more accurate’. The ban follows cases where violent and sexual offences by men who call themselves female were recorded as being committed by women, prompting concerns that the practice is warping official data. Earlier this year, The Mail on Sunday highlighted the case of Zoe Watts, who was jailed for a string of offences including building an impro…

It's pathetic that there's even an argument here. Ridiculing individuals over something that is out of their control will always be unjust. Forming a negative stereotype around such is even worse. That's it. There is no counter point.

I condemn radical and a lot of modern feminism but I still support the core values of feminism which is more accurately described as egalitarianism. I'm against arranged marriages; I'm pro abortion and I support women's rights. If I had to label myself, I'd be against double standards.

Statistic: black individuals arrested at a very high rate for a small minority. Argument: black individuals commit more crime. Reality: cops are racist; are more likely to arrest/ stop and search black individuals. They are also more likely to be convicted for these crimes than other ethnic groups. are exceptions in which many pro-lifers would agree to abortion. We're not discussing the opinions of the supposed majority of pro lifers. We're discussing the banning of any and all abortions post 6 weeks. Not to mention the bounty system the government has introduced. make up only 7.5 % of all abortions. So that makes it fine by you then? That those individuals will suffer immensely just because some couples decided they weren't ready for a child? Or that teenagers are having unprotected sex? …

a biologically distinct human life begins upon conception so abortion should be illegal after that. So you're against abortion even when the child would be non functioning and financially ruin many families? Even rapists children? Even when adults would likely die from child birth? The mere fact that the cells would develop into a biologically distinct being is a weak argument against abortion. I hope your upvotes are from people who didn't read the final part of your comment.

If a terrorist attack is occurring, the government and police urge everyone to stay indoors. If an individual who targets women is at large, the government and police urge women to avoid walking alone at night. How does a group think that protection is the same as oppression? News outlets know that no one cares about the deaths of men. Even if it is a random unprovoked attack, people will dismiss it as gang violence and therefore not worth reading. There's more money to be made in reporting on how police broke up protests during a pandemic than to report the tenth Male murder victim this week. Men look at murdered men as murdered strangers. But when women see news of a murdered woman, they view it as an attack on themselves. They think, that could have been me, they …

One poor sod comments: I support equality of the sexes, and for that reason I’m not a feminist. RIP their karma. But I have to admit I find it hilarious that this is the route feminism has gone down. Feminism in 2021 is basically the female MGTOW, all men are scum, all women are whores. Where did moderation go? Some men are scum and some women are probably whores, but all!? 4 billion scum men and 4 billion whores? These global generalisations are insanity. You won't even meet 1% of the global po…

Yes this is how phobias develop. But if you get robbed by a black person and avoid all black people as a result, that makes you racist. You becoming a racist isn't the fault of black people though, it's your own for letting an isolated experience be generalised to an entire demographic of people. Most phobias are irrational. Arachnophobic people do not need to have been bitten by a spider to develop the fear. Neither do they know someone who has been bitten. And yet about 5% of all people are af…

This is the issue. A woman getting killed is a tragedy because you automatically assume she was some sort of innocent saint. Recently in the UK, a woman was killed. The media is blasting it on every platform. You can find women calling for every change under the sun. They range from telling your male friends that murder is not okay, to imposing a curfew on men. The generalisations are abhorrent. They are not even a stones throw from the mentality of rounding up the Uighurs and putting them in re-education camps, they are already there. Both of those are incorrect in my opinion, and even if things cannot or shouldn't be totally equal, to strive for balance is never not going to be the right path. Fuck China.

Suicide is a major national public health issue in the United States. The country has one of the highest suicide rates among wealthy nations.[2] In 2018, there were 48,344 recorded suicides, Other statistics reported are:[9] The annual age-adjusted suicide rate is 13.42 per 100,000 individuals. Men die by suicide 3.53x more often than women. On average, there are 123 suicides per day. White males accounted for 7 of 10 suicides in 2016. A firearm is used in almost 50% of all suicides. Firstly, no, not American. And projection much? That was incredibly specific. And even in western countries being pale was idolised in the past. China isn't the whole of Asia, and this white preference predates asians meeting white people such as the Japanese geisha. You see a lot of it in their advertisements, newspapers and online. Are you actually being serious right now? If sex lasts 30m you expect 30 iterations of are you still consenting to this sex?
/r/MensRights29/10/19 08:51 AM

I'd say I agree but you're still wrong in a few areas. Mainly the men going 3 months without sex. Try years. Try rejection on all attempts. Women only see the sex and relationship, they don't see the stress and anxiety that is required to make those first steps turn into something worthwhile. And additionally because women have such easy access to sex very very few truly understand what decades of a loveless and sexless life can do to an individual.

What did your gf think of this? In these situations reminding the stranger to mind their own fucking business with a simple "who are you" works well. Or if you're annoyed, and you are?

Yeah I'm not cool with the 15 year old thing. But regardless you're applying TRP to a child, or a teenager if that helps. TRP operates under learned female dating behaviour whereas this girl is basically a blank slate. It's like taming a wild tiger vs raising one from birth. But whatever, hope you're both happy.

My ex did this to me. I didn't understand why she did it and I still don't. She ended up flirting with some random guy at the pub while I was there. I downed my drink, stood up and publically shamed her. I'm not a confrontational guy so this was really out of character for me. I was pushed to my limit and broke. Walked out crying my eyes out all the way home. She called me the next day but it was the taxi company as she had left her phone in the cab. Clearly she got fucked by that guy and had to…

A lot of people saying it's fake. My sister did this after she got dumped. Burned all the clothes he'd bought her, his clothes he had left behind and a teddy bear he had bought her. The most disturbing thing is that they did this at the bottom of our garden and her and her chav mates danced around the fire like some sort of tribal ritual.

It was an interesting read but this lady failed to grasp what MGTOW is about. "Just observe the outcome from their ideology by their lifestyle choice of idle and witless amusement — unthinking video games, absurd genres of porn and unpalatably barbaric music. These are the effects of a mind corrupted by the destructive ideas of the feminist’s anti-male nihilism." I'm sorry but where the hell did that come from? She understands feminism is a cause, but that's it.

Video games are the great equalifier. There shouldn't be any reason video game events need to be gender specific, and yet it's clear as day that they can't compete. Shout out to Scarlett the transgender pro starcraft player, I used to think she was proof girls could compete. Then it turns out she is just a guy calling herself a girl without any modification.

You must have missed the part where I said I don't actually want more religion in the world. Kind of a crucial part. I just wanted to highlight religions purpose in controlling women and how secularisation has led to the current state of women.

It's also about bringing awareness to men regarding the true nature of women. Understanding that without religion to force women to live a strict life style, most who can will turn into gold digging as it is simply the path of least resistance. I'm an atheist and don't actually want more religion in the world. But the more secular parts of the world are the only locations where women have more rights and power than men. All countries that have maintained their religiosity are those where the w…

AWALT. But on another note, do you still identify as bisexual or heterosexual? You said it yourself that your traumatic experiences led you to identify as gay. MGTOW is a subreddit. Not an ideology. Anyone can make a post flaming women and mgtow will up vote it. It's chaotic and disorganised, not much agreement other than girls are shallow and self centred. There are some real weirdos here but you'll find that happens everywhere.

Many guys have thought the same, myself included. Now I'm not saying we become radical feminists and aim to remove women from society. MGTOW is more of a awareness platform than an ideology. Anti vaxers ignore the existing scientific evidence. I'm here looking at studies and meta analysis's. This was an interesting read, with references to actual studies. But even if you do believe that circumcision is something everyone should have done, why can't you agree that they should have that choice? There is no evidence that circumcision later in life would make any less impact. One of the biggest arguments for circumcision is a reduced risk of STI's, which I find odd because children ar…

It should be. And yet we are amidst a epidemic due to one falsely written paper about vaccines and autism. Do not blind yourself to a few research articles. We need to wait for a momentous amount of research before any finding can be classified as fact. And then you have to ask who is funding the research, who could benefit from this finding and why. I'm still waiting for the scientists to explain how losing your foreskin protects you from sexually transmitted diseases.
/r/MGTOW23/05/19 10:04 PM

I've read through lots of studies on circumcision and my concluding thoughts are that they never account for religious factors. A strict religious family WILL circumcise their children and therefore enforce their strict religious practises on them too. This is why we see decreased STI's in circumcised men. It's got nothing to do with their lack of foreskin but more to do with their strict religious beliefs around sex out of marriage and homophobia (gay men are a large contributor to the spread o…

That's great that you didn't have any complications. But imagine if you did. There are lots of people who were circumcised at a young age who do suffer as a result. But let's be honest, how many people do you know that got a bacterial infection because they were NOT circumcised? Because for me it's 0.

Pretty much all mammals have a foreskin. Most take it even further and have a penile shaft (use your imagination). Do you really expect me to believe that nature created foreskin to be 'useless' in practically all mammals when most have an even more complex foreskin than humans? Male nipples are pointless but we don't cut them off of babies just because they don't serve a purpose!
