My assumption is that it's a holdover from when men were still considered the primary bread winner.

Because the real problem is that women still have a biological urge for a man to protect and provide for them but society is telling them completely different so a lot of women go for the "have your cake and eat it" approach. This however is not allowed to be discussed because men have been "oppressing" women for millennia.

Don't get me wrong, that's not to say to parenting was easy because it wasn't. I got thrown in at the deep end though. It does piss me off when women say "I've been rushed off my feet all day" and it amounts to doing some laundry (2 minutes to put it in the machine and 10 minutes to take it out and fold it) and spending half an hour cleaning the house.

I've done night shifts in a warehouse driving forklift and humping heavy stuff, I've done cold-calling sales roles and managed in both sectors as well. Jobs that people will typically say are hard and thankless I know (they are).

Is it fuck. I took care of baby triplets and a 3 year old for 2 years because of her depression. Still easier and less stressful than most of the jobs I've done.

I'm guessing her body aches from carrying all the plastic she's had grafted onto herself.

It's the same in the UK. The UK labour party has nothing to do with workers anymore it's just a race to see who can score as many points as possible by denigrating straight, white, working class males.

Generally because the the left seems to blame all the the ills in the world on these men and are a massive part of what is disillusioning them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
