It’s the second most densely populated country on the planet, behind the Vatican City. How is it not densely populated?

Your not from Singapore you don’t understand the issue

Not in the US. I think you’re ignorant to the issue. In Singapore it is necessary

The country is the 2nd most densely populated in the world. The last thing we need is more children. It’s a tiny island with 5 million people.

Yeah, the fact of the matter amid that men are better at some things than women and women are better at some things than men.

Jesus that’s extreme, two kids before voting rights? Like I said the forced military service ain’t bad. Not all women want kids. That’s a much larger dedication than military service

No what I’m trying to say is that Singapore needs a fucking military because it’s a tiny country and without forcing people to join it wouldn’t be big enough. Women arent capable enough to serve in Singapore’s military

Nah I’m a dude

It is definitely a useful experience. Boys become men and it’s not really a full time thing
/r/PussyPass29/05/20 05:11 AM

However I don’t know if we have the capabilities to house women as well as men and it may be a logistical mess
/r/PussyPass28/05/20 08:03 PM

I also think that most people in Singapore would be opposed to ending mandatory service. They would however be in favor of letting women serve too.

Men and women are equal but different and it would be foolish to regard them as exactly the same

Singapore needs a qualified army. Most women are not qualified.

There’s no reason at all for feminism in Singapore

Singapore is an educated and very wealthy society. There is almost no discrepancy between men and women. This is not common in a southern Asian country.
/r/PussyPass28/05/20 05:04 AM

I understand your point. Fortunately there is no “feminism” in Singapore like America.

It’s 24 months long but it isn’t like an American military service. You can still work part time and can still easily be accepted into the top schools in Singapore. Also, you get paid, get time off, and get some direction in your life. I don’t know how else to say it other than the fact that Singapore NEEDS a strong military. You stay in the main city of Singapore. You still have an outside life. It is especially good for kids that might do drugs, become lost in their life without direction. It …

See this is tough for me because the men that serve have to serve for 2 years but it’s not like Singapore is any conflicts. I agree it’s a little fucked but I don’t think they should have to lower the standards for our military so that women have to serve. I mean, if women had to serve them there would be almost no youth in the country.

The women are too weak to meet the requirements and athletic ability. Singapore is a nation of only 5 million people and has had terrorist cells coming in from our bordering country of Malaysia. We need a strong and capable army to defend our borders.

As someone who was born in Singapore, I can safely say it’s a pretty equal society. I wouldn’t say there’s anything too bad against men or women.

Well that wouldn’t happen. I don’t think anybody can understand this unless you play soccer but, An average boys U12 team would beat a girls u15 team.
