Girls acting whorish is still gross though, fam. Thinking that someone making themselves too available is sad, off-putting behavior is not the same as being redpill.

I think that's an extremely disingenuous perspective to bring forward given the context of the conversation.

But many more women over 65 are single than men over 65 Are these women just single or are they widowed?

I think it's because people on the spectrum generally struggle socially. But if they're on the higher-functioning end of the spectrum they'll be left with an awareness that something is off about them socializing and that they have problems other just don't seem to have. So turning towards redpill is just an attempt to gain understanding for why they seem disliked and feel out of place, doubly so when it comes to trying to meet their romantic/intimate needs.

I ask a girl out because I'm interested in getting to know her. If she's already in a relationship or married I don't think "oh man, I'm in second place. maybe even worst! I have to get myself back into pole position!". I just think "oh she's married/in a relationship. on to the next one I guess". I don't see myself as being in a competition with other people for anything. Unless I'm literally in a competition I signed up for, or maybe if I'm in the interview rounds for a new job. But even then,…

Fun fact, the research that led to the "alpha male" concept was done on wolves living in captivity. When somebody tells you to be more alpha, they're telling you to be the toughest prisoner in the cell block. I'd prefer to just not live in a cage, thanks.

I feel validated by this, I usually tell women before a first date with them that we'll go dutch. Not because I have a problem with buying a drink or whatever, but rather I want to avoid establishing any sort of transactional dynamic with my relationships.

Yeah it's a pretty bogus field through and through. Additionally, the people who staunchly adhere to the "findings" of the field, especially in the redpill world, view people as fundamentally fungible even though they never admit it. It's an implicit message that strips people of their individuality for the sake of fitting them into their weird grouping scheme.

Now I hate watch the whatever podcast. They're still making money off you if you do this.

how best to deal with this weird feeling after an interaction like this? Anyone of you got advice for me? I agree with the above poster. I think too often we think that we MUST "deal with" our feelings and make them stop as quickly as possible. But I think in doing that we suffer a great personal loss, because our emotions are our internal compass for what we value and find acceptable and unacceptable. So whenever I feel uncomfy, I don't get dismissive towards it, I get curious. I try to work wi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
