If you have to clarify that you are of the equality brand of feminism, isn't the clarification the predicate itself, rather than feminism? To you, it functions to treat feminism as equality, but feminism in general is indefinite... I'll make sense of this later, maybe. I feel very unwell. I like this subreddit because, no matter what the post is about, it tends to actively resist stupidity and ignorance. I think a lot of people here have experience of struggle, in one way or another.

Do you recognise 'existence is not a predicate'? A predicate modifies a subject, for example, a blue chair. In order for something to be a predicate, it must modify the subject. If a word like feminist has no specific meaning, it offers no specific change to the subject, and isn't a predicate. That would suggest it's meaningless to say 'I am a feminist', without clarifying that you identify with one strand of feminism in particular. The problem is that 'Feminism' isn't feminism. This means that /r/Feminism takes criticism for only being part of a problem. /r/SRS is so stupid that it doesn't even warrant discussion, so there is nowhere else to vent criticism at on reddit.
