It would depend on the violation and the initial charge. They might start by ramping up your terms of parole or probation, adding time, require house arrest, etc. but that would be things a private attorney would make a deal for, if they even can. If you’re using a public defender, you’re going back to jail.

We have court appointed tax payer subsidized defense attorneys here as well, but they’re usually not anywhere near the ballpark of quality compared to hiring an attorney that you pay out of pocket. They also are usually buried under a ton of other cases, so they may not have as much time or gumption to prepare as good of a defense as an attorney you pay for as well. Absolutely. This is standard in the UK too? Usually the more you spend, the better your attorney, the better your representation, and usually the better connected the attorney as well for when it comes time to negotiating sentencing with the DA. Granted, absolutely nothing is guaranteed, but your your chances of shortening sentence or getting a favorable outcome increase exponentially.

Really difficult to say, would depend on a lot of factors, one of the bigger ones would be how much could you spend on your attorney. Judges have set minimums to follow, but beyond that they have a lot of latitude.

Yeah but then on parole for the remaining length of her sentence, and then after that years and years of probation and she’ll probably never drive again. If she violates the terms of parole or probation she will go straight back to jail for the entire term.

I was in an frat (only like 25 members), and like clockwork every time we had a party the President would field at least one call about drink spiking. We always told them that if that was true we wanted to know so we could figure out who was doing it. Additionally we always asked if they would go to the ER and get a full toxicology panel, and would cover any other related expenses. Not a single girl took us up on this offer.

There’s no right or wrong, but I think most women that are worth your time can likely read right through PUA bullshit. It’s just so unnatural, and in my opinion it objectifies them by turning them into a challenge and not actually showing them you’re generally interested. Just my $0.02. Also, remember that these guys charge money for their time. It’s a bunch of snake oil sales preying on guys that don’t know any better, it’s all very sad really.
