The Bible says that it’s better to marry than to burn (in lust). Maybe get serious about finding a spouse? I sure wish I could as well, it’s hard desiring it and not being able to have what you crave, regularly.

You make some great points. I also agree people deserve compassion, not ridicule, and that’s only possible when you stop making fun of them and try to feel their pain.☹️ This is not a small, inconsequential issue; a lot of men are miserable, but I’d say there are plenty of women who can’t seem to figure out which end is up as well. I don’t think it’s the “culture” that’s failed anyone, I think it’s all about parental example: present, involved, loving parenting from the beginning. When a child g…

It’s unfortunate for all of us that we fail to heed the wisdom of how things have been done for millennia, and are convinced that glibly messing with how we meet and pair off will only have positive consequences. The moral of the story for me? It’s a character tell: being vain, superficial and selfish leads to bad outcomes. The things that really matter are not surface, they are cultivated purposefully, by people who see the long game; just my view though.

Evolutionarily we are all primed for choosing partners with the best genes, that indicate good health and longevity. Biology is so much at the heart of our behaviour, but the artificial, unnatural environment of OLD has hopelessly skewed things. It’s crazy how the ‘law of unintended consequences’ keeps creating just desperately bad results for everyone: single people, families and society as a whole. Our own nature is frequently our biggest problem. Thanks for your comment, it’s thought-provokin…

These ‘profiles’ show such a jaw-dropping lack of self-awareness and class, they have to be jokes..!! How can anyone post this and think that it’s going to entice anyone to want to match with them?! It’s ludicrous; I feel really bad for you guys if this is the norm rather than the exception.😳🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s having sex because you want to be close to and feel wanted by another human being, even for just a while. The harm comes in when you know they don’t give a shit about you, and once they get what they want they’re out. It’s very much like substance abuse: needing to escape the present hurt, even though the solution you choose brings its own pain along with it. You’ve solved the immediate problem but you’re still back at square one; just my perspective.

Because your worth has nothing to do with physical characteristics! Like another poster said, the only people who are most often obsessive about externals, size, etc. are those who are looking to use people for their own pleasure, ONS, etc. It’s about how you make them feel, not about what they can do for you because the pursuit is inherently selfish. If you find someone who loves you, they will love all of you and working around each other’s bodies and preferences will not be a big deal, becaus…

Breasts are attributes of female sexuality and fertility, and as such, they garner attention from men. Men are wired to seek out and desire fertile women so that the species can continue. Since men are visually aroused, it makes logical sense for women to keep them covered in everyday life. It’s just biological fact, this is no one’s fault and it isn’t unfair in the least. It’s life. Even though breastfeeding is perfect and natural, I think that doing so discreetly is showing respect towards any…

I respectfully disagree; I read a lot of posts on that sub and have for years, and my experience of that is that most marriages start out with things being sympatico between partners. The logic that “things aren’t great but what the hell, I’m signing up for life” just isn’t there. I’m also speaking from personal experience, which by definition can’t really be contested.

I’m so happy to hear that you have a good relationship; it’s hard to over-emphasize how meaningful it is to feel loved! I’d really like to take a closer look at it too, tbh; it’s trotted out every time there is a discussion about this or related topics as if it’s unquestionable fact.

Of course! Obviously getting things right at the beginning is something most of us try to do. Why commit long-term to a situation that doesn’t work at the outset? My point was that no matter what, you will not be able to guarantee that your partner or you won’t change over time. In terms of dead bedroom signs at the beginning of the relationship, based on my experience sometimes you just think things will get better or that you will be able to work through whatever problems crop up. Again, not a…

The thing is, dead bedrooms usually develop in relationships where the sex used to be good and abundant, according to them. It didn’t happen, in most cases, due to initial sexual incompatibility or mismatched libidos. Sex and intimacy are like the icing on a delicious cake (which is the quality of the relationship, the depth and sincerity of the connection). The cake is the main thing, the important thing! So many people try to “guarantee” that they won’t be cheated on or that their partner won’…

You’re right, the older men in her life probably weren’t advising her to do that, but everyone was telling her to “focus on her career”, that there’d be time for settling down later, especially if she was intelligent and well-connected. That’s a huge lie being sold to young women that many of them end up regretting, but by then it’s often too late. In turns out that there are optimal times in life to get certain things done, and when that window of opportunity closes, it’s closed for good. You h…

Because in general women have bought the lie that they are nothing if they are ‘just’ a wife and mother. That they must be unintelligent or slow or boring if they find fulfillment taking care of their families or the home, as opposed to being career-driven. They were told to compete with men and be like men, so now they are being evaluated like men, according to socio-economic standing and income/ education levels. You just can’t pay a stranger, no matter how well-educated and well-intentioned, to know, love and care for your children the way you are uniquely suited to. That applies to mothers and fathers; for optimal development, children need both, and they need to see a healthy, functioning relationship where each person embraces their role. Sacrifice is inherent in the building a strong family that produces healthy offspring, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The best things never come…

It might also be nice for people to consider this truth when posting online. Some of the stuff I read pierces my heart because it’s so off-base. I know that people who post online kind of self-select for certain traits and views, but there are lots who read and don’t post, and probably wonder, like me, how prevalent these views are.

Assumptions go both ways; you want respect, you have to give it. It’s probably better to give everyone a clean slate and assume the best of them, until they prove you wrong, than pigeonholing half the planet and thinking you have them “all figured out”.

Yeah I have to agree with u/GhostTheEternal here, grammar rules and spelling are initially taught but then are reinforced over time with repeated exposure via reading. You become a good writer by reading authors who know not only the mechanics but also the art and poetics of a language. It’s similar to how your diet affects your health; the caliber of what you read will be evidenced in how you express yourself.

It’s kind of like..reaching a goal by skipping all of the steps that came before. Often what makes an experience meaningful or valuable is all wrapped up in what it cost you to get there, or in this case having sex with someone you like in many other ways, who has shown you kindness and consideration, who is interested in not only what you have to say but your feelings, just feels so sweet and satisfying. Listen...do you really deny that there are a lot of average to below-average-looking men and women who are paired up, and frequently quite happily for years? It’s just not true that love is only for the “hottest people”, and to deny that personality and compatibility plays a BIG part in who we choose to be with long-term just makes no sense. Don’t take the actions of shallow people and make that the rule, or else it will make you bitter towards people you don’t even know.

100% the intermittent fasting, as well as OMAD (one meal a day). A lot of personal accomplishment and success in life is predicated on YOU taking action, on all of those things you know are good for you and that would support your physical, mental, emotional and financial health. Being aware of the cycle is the first step, now you have to step in and take action “other” than what you’ve been doing. Addressing your diet and sleep patterns go a heck of a long way towards setting you up for success…

A solid relationship is a partnership where both people bring something of complementary value to the union. Where strengths and weaknesses are balanced out. Being a good lover is a skill developed over time, with practice so even if you start out not great that can definitely improve. Okay, so u/asdf333aza, u/Jdamoftruth and u/sleepyweaselisawake, sincere question: exactly what are you wanting/ expecting/ would like to see a woman have on offer? We already know that 1) being interesting is base-level necessary (agreed), but 2) even if the sex was great, you’d still walk away because the game is to not let a woman ‘rope you into’ anything - right? There would be no civilization, and no reason for doing anything, without women/ children/ progeny/ family. So following this logic: men staying alone, working on a list of accomplishments, amassing toys and having experiences - that’s the purpose of life? That’s going to satisfy? I’m not trying to be a jerk, I just feel that humans need way more than material things and an unrelenting focus on themselves to be truly content. Thoughts?

So the ‘really smart’ people wait to have children, if they have them at all? For what, to focus on a career? What about legacy, contribution to society, passing on your genetics, your wisdom, your love to someone outside of yourself? Seems to me that too many people are putting a premium on and valuing all the wrong things, but that’s just my view.

So here you are admitting, for all of us to read, that it’s MEN who actually help ‘ create’ the 1000 cock stare in women by using them and tossing them aside when they’re done with them. Then, you blame women for ‘letting it happen’. You want women to have sex with you, but not with too many of you, and they better not be too good at it, or look like they enjoy it too much, or accentuate what makes them attractive in too obvious a way. And the study findings referenced in this article show that the adverse effects of casual hookups are exactly the same for men and women, even with men engaging in this behaviour more than twice as often as women. This pretty much obliterates the ‘1000 cock stare’ trope, which is just a way to describe a person who’s been hurt and use that to disrespect and dismiss them. Kind of shitty IMO.

Youth and genetic health markers are important, but they are definitely not all that’s required if you are thinking of the next generation. I find it amusing that people who have no interest in children are so concerned with genetics and physical perfection. How you treat your children as their parents is truly the foundation of how they will raise their own, and how mentally stable and emotionally healthy they will be. That affects society at large and has far-reaching effects. Being hot or bea…

I so agree; we’re so much more than the superficial measures contained within these simplistic categories! True value is inherent; what anyone values in a SO depends on what they need and like, and how that person connects with them. If SMV was really a thing and that was the only desired metric IRL, everyone who isn’t young, perfect and rich would be out of luck, which we know is clearly not the case. People age, change happens...does that mean they lose all their value? Hell no.

I totally agree with what you say about chemistry being so important to establish. If I’m not attracted to a man right off the bat, I lose interest. I want that magnetic pull, it’s too good to do without. However, I don’t mind delaying carnal gratification in order to build up rapport and sexual tension in not overtly sexual ways. I want to want him longer, so that when I can finally have him it feels even more amazing. A man who gets and values this is irresistible to me.

At some point we all have to limit ourselves whether it’s with buying stuff we don’t need, eating too much or going after other people’s partners because we think they’re hot. Who cares? At what cost will we keep grasping for what isn’t ours and feeling entitled to it? Yes, youth is beautiful, but we all get to be young; and then we’re not but life can still be good. Women don’t have to be hypergamous any more than men have to sleep with twentysomethings when they’re way past that age.

And that’s the reason why you don’t and shouldn’t act on every impulse you have. Say you’re a guy who’s attracted to 18yo women and you’re 45 and married; great, noted, now go focus on your wife. You’re a married woman whose husband’s male co-workers are single, successful and handsome; cool, they’ve got it going on, now go appreciate the man you chose and have built a life with. Women like to please, and I don’t think that’s a disrespectful generalization either; it’s definitely true of me. Behaviour that doesn’t get rewarded, stops...but there’s also another very important piece and that is being taught by example. We all need to see success modelled for us. When parents are “absent” either physically or by not being present and involved, the next generation suffers unfortunately. It can be hard to create healthy male/female relationships if you’ve never seen it lived …

Men and women are designed to be complementary, not to compete against one another or be the same. Women have been brainwashed to see feminism as the only smart approach, when it requires you to deny how men and women have interacted for generations. You end up having to deny how you feel and “be like a man” which emasculates and shames men into giving in to women, which benefits no one. It’s a mess for sure.

It’s not meaningless in the least! Foregoing what’s easy for what is of true lasting value is the best move. You make a great point: pair-bonding is super important, that’s what time together is supposed to produce. The other needed ingredient though is commitment to sticking with each other even when life gets hard, even when things aren’t perfect. If you commit to having each other’s best interests at heart and working through problems that might come up, you’ll be able to go the distance and build a legacy together. Why do you think biological imperatives are not at work in this? We are wired for relationship and to procreate so to suggest that that desire is sad or unbalanced, as opposed to what, travelling the world, getting several degrees and owning pets but being alone...is kind of off-base in my opinion. Why is getting married and having a family make you uninteresting or mean you have no personality? That’s just weird and goes against all of human history, so there’s that.

Just for the sake of argument though...all things being equal, we will pick the person with a great personality but also choose the most physically appealing one (to us) of that first subset. Does that make sense? I think we all want the very best that we can get overall.

Women are extremely relational and want to connect with people, so it makes sense that they want to please. I think there’s enough anecdotal evidence to support that claim. So a woman trying to please doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a personality clearly, it means that she wants you to like her! There’s really no need to asset that half the population has no personality - that’s inaccurate and kind of just mean-spirited honestly. Why do it? Only nasty, superficial, entitled women do this; decent human beings don’t treat others like this. Maybe that’s the problem though: everyone is chasing the “hot” people because all they want to do is use them to ‘prove’ their worth to others and give themselves an ego boost: it’s all about them. Men want/ like to have sex - they will sleep with women that they can use now, but when it comes to committing they want a virgin. Yes we are different, but when it comes to excusing yourself if you have slept with hundreds of women, while requiring the woman that you want to have slept with almost no one, is somewhat sad and hypocritical. A man is not held to any sexual standard at all, in your view of it?

Have you personally ever been married? Been a parent? Ever get divorced? Are you speaking from experience or is this armchair philosophizing and headline reading? It’s one thing to have opinions and educated guesses, it’s another to actually live through what you comment on. And every situation is different, circumstances are not all the same. To your point about the business partnership, usually legal documents are drawn up detailing what each partner brings to the deal, and what role each one …

I don’t see separate rules for men and women: everyone should be decent, considerate, thoughtful and well-intentioned, and not looking to use other people. You liken this to a business transaction, and yet you are the one being so hard-hearted about this. “Plenty of women” are not every woman, and not everything worth having in your life is material/ physical! What good is anyone who has a high-paying job, lots of money and a fit body if they are also awful, selfish, and nasty no matter how tall…

I think you’re very right; we all just want someone to see past the hurt and defenses, and see and accept us as we are. Sometimes you meet someone who melts through all of that effortlessly...and that is lovely indeed.😊

It’s not wrong to have standards, everyone should have them! What I was getting at is that the higher yours are, the more you personally need to be offering in return. That’s not me telling anyone what to do, that’s me pointing out that I feel one should be genuine about things, be a decent person and think about what you have to offer before you make a long list of things that you require of others. For personal reflection and growth.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/20 09:14 PM

That definitely rings true: what do you think it would take for things to change on a large scale? We all pursue pleasure and avoid pain, until we realize that growth necessitates bearing up under suffering. IMHO abject selfishness and pathological self-interest are the root cause of much unhappiness.

“A woman with a past”...I guess, in order to have that expectation and standard, a man would have to offer the same, i.e., not having a past? Why this double standard? Is the issue here really that she has been intimate with “x number” of men? That she has had relationships? And if it is, why does that invalidate her completely or diminish the man who is looking for “wife material” in any way? What are ppl supposed to do, not live at all and save themselves for “The One” so that when he asks for…

Thanks for those links, that was helpful; it gave me a bit of context, sometimes the same terms can mean different things depending on who is using them. It’s absolutely up to each individual to conduct their lives as their conscience dictates, but I feel that the ‘washing of regeneration by the Word’ is all a Christian needs to get his/ her life right. I didn’t address the wife’s responsibility but she clearly has one. Anything you do as a Christian, you do “as unto the Lord”; He knows the circumstances and He blesses obedience, to Him. Having respect for authority is really respecting God’s rule. I wasn’t making the wife’s walk dependent on whether the husband is doing everything right, but God works through the husband because he is the leader. As he allows God to mold him and work in his life, he becomes the servant-leader that Christ was. …

Please excuse my not being perfectly conversant in what is meant by RP: maybe you can clarify. It has its roots in the men’s rights movement, which also spawned MGTOW, etc. It was a rebalancing effort exerted against the inroads made by feminism, is that right? I fully agree that men are actively discriminated against and undervalued on many, many fronts, to the detriment of women and our whole society; it grieves me to see it. Post-Wall nonsense has zero to do with what anything God counsels in the Bible regarding male/ female interactions. All you guys are doing with this RP BS is focusing on the externals while neglecting the true person, their soul, their spirit, their character. Here’s the thing too: as her husband, what kind of wife she is to you is predicated on how well you love her and lead your family. All of these ppl that say “all women are harpies”? It’s because they don’t know or won’t accept their role as leaders of their families. The Bible has a lot to say about what a good husband is to his wife, and what his treatment of her frees her to be the woman he wants and needs.

The Song of Solomon speaks to general, physical female attributes that all women have; it also describes a man’s lover through his eyes, and love makes your beloved beautiful even if the world disagrees. Keep this in mind: “game theory” represents a lost way of thinking, thought up by men who don’t know the Lord and pretty much only seek self-gratification. Ergo, it hypes up external beauty in women and endorses not giving a woman anything because she only wants to “take advantage of you” (“beta…

So because women who think they’re the hottest in the room dismiss you, that means all women there wouldn’t be interested? I think we all reward shitty behaviour (i.e., ppl thinking they are too good to talk to you) and then wonder why it persists. I am happy to speak to whomever starts a conversation with me because I like people. That’s why I go out in the first place. Maybe approach different people?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 10:12 PM

It’s in everyone’s best long-term interest to live in a society like that. Do you think that after people have slept with the hottest people they can find in their youth, they’re happy to be alone as they get older, with no spouse, no child, nothing to show for decades of living? Turns out that being selfish, bitter, shallow and cold towards other people gets you jackshit in the end, and this is a sad outcome for everyone. Maybe that’s why marriage and family have endured for millennia, idk.

This all comes down to men and women being valued by the opposite sex for different reasons. Men don’t have to be “pretty” or visually alluring, but women know darn well that being beautiful is what men expect of us. Which is why we attempt to make the best of what we have. Definitely not going to argue that good genetics, wealth, connections don’t put a man or a woman far ahead of others, but women expect substance in men because they possibly are looking for reasons to get together with him lo…

I think it’s only right for these apps to be transparent, not offer people false hope and make sure there aren’t fake accounts and women just looking to make money on those sites. It’s similar to post-secondary education: that is a consumer product that some of us go into debt to obtain. Therefore, you should expect to get what you pay for, and not have to just take whatever they feel like offering while they take your money. I think dating sites should be run with integrity, that’s all. Do you …

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to connect with another human being, either sexually, emotionally or mentally. We are pretty much all wired for connection; that doesn’t make anyone desperate or sad, it makes us human. Why shame people for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/20 09:34 PM
8

Yeah, fair enough, but like a lot of things in life negotiation comes into play. If a man looking for a hookup and a woman wanting a relationship connect and like each other, they might be able to meet in the middle. If you’re not even there or if your expectations are out of whack or you’re too inflexible, none of your needs/ wants are going to get met. I don’t see apps as hook-up or relationship only; it all depends on what two people decide the interaction is going to lead to.

How can you tell if the women are “open or not open” to finding a connection? Do people even approach each other anymore?

There 100% needs to be way more transparency in how dating sites conduct business. It’s especially gross that they charge me, and charge them quite a bit for a questionable product. And the consumer doesn’t have any recourse if they don’t get anything for the money they’ve paid. It also makes me wonder: where the heck are the women?!? Are they getting connections that easily that they see being online as not necessary? Weird.

Those are really good points. At the end of the day there are people who like and want to debate the merits of an idea in good faith, and then there are others who do identify with a position that they won’t look at other viewpoints that might logically challenge their assumptions. And on top of that they take criticism of a stance personally!

I see the merit in perceiving trends or patterns and heeding them, for sure. At the same time, being careful to not let oneself get jaded and bitter is so important. You should try to give every person the benefit of the doubt, so that you don’t miss the good ones in the wholesale dismissal of a whole gender. No, actually it does if you’ve ever seen people in happy long-term relationships. 99% of them are not tall, rich, skinny supermodels and yet in the eyes of their significant other, that is their favourite person. It’s a myth that we all like the same things, or else only those people who have those features would be paired up or loved or even procreating. Reality and history are the proof of it.

That probably depends on women’s experiences thus far and how satisfied or unsatisfied they are with the men they’ve been pursuing. Yes, that’s a great point...but I’m not sure that most of us aren’t to figure out that even if you want something really, really bad in life, you’re not necessarily going to get that exact thing. Sex is a chief benefit of marriage and most ‘religious’ people know this, so I doubt they are ignorant of or oblivious to their sexual desires. I get how not choosing someone because of their height seems ridiculously shallow, but women like men to be taller/ bigger than they are for deeper reasons. They like to feel “small” compared to him; many have expressed that they absolutely don’t want to be “bigger” than the man they’re with because it makes them feel weird or less feminine. Yes it does matter; it’s a numbers game. If there are more men than women on a given app, the likelihood of matching will be higher for a woman than it will be for a man, just because of having more possibilities available. That’s a really interesting observation, and I think it’s due to expectations placed upon men and women, and also the realities that each have to live within. It encompasses emotion, it is not only emotion. Emotions are fleeting, but love actually looks like this: it is long-suffering, kind, is not envious, not conceited or self-promoting, is not easily provoked, thinks the best of the other person, rejoices in truth, bears up under difficulty...it believes, is hopeful and it endures. Boring, unintelligent men, even if they’re jacked, are not sexually arousing. Each person has their own definition of those words. It would be nice if one could overlook that and just enjoy the carnal pleasure, but personality and wit count for a lot when you’re figuring out if you want to spend time with someone or not. Commitment implies something ongoing even when conditions quit being optimal for you; working through things and valuing the other person enough to be open to growing together, rather than dismantling the whole thing or getting with someone ‘more exciting’.

Love your reply - this is what gets me about a lot of comments here: people just love being reductionist and insist on seeing men and women as wanting fixed and opposite things. Why can’t men have feelings and want to care about and trust one person? Why can’t women love sex and want to be with one man? Why are we all buying into these dumb narratives that insist that we need to believe the absolute worst about people? I hear a whole lot of “I’m not giving an ounce if you don’t reciprocate equal…

Everyone has sexual needs even though that looks way different from time to time and person to person. I see everyone as sexual beings, but I can’t be the answer to all of their needs! I know what it’s like to want and need things, so I feel great empathy for people who don’t get to feel loved or desired regularly or even ever. It’s the thing that kinda breaks my heart about online dating and I have no idea how it could be addressed, because it’s not good. When I consider my desires, I like feel…

Very true - because it’s easy, no effort and guarantees a result every time. Dealing with people can be a pain in the ass, and when they aren’t receptive to you romantically/ sexually that’s just another barrier. Everything we do habitually, rewires our brain and creates pleasure/ reward loops; we are all really good at figuring out how to get from A-B as quickly as possible. Relationships are the long game, and damn if it isn’t frustrating to keep waiting for satisfaction whether that looks lik…

That is truth. When we can’t get the connection we so desperately want, we live vicariously through others. That is not a measure of your worth: it is human to want to be accepted, understood, loved and desired. It’s a sad catch-22 that to put yourself out there and try means that you risk rejection, and isolating with porn and being resigned to that reduces your desire to try IRL and does the opposite of building those relational skills. It’s not fair to judge superficially when you haven’t liv…

In my experience, they will almost always tell you what they think you want to hear, to get what they want out you. I think relying on your gut feeling about someone, while trying to not get all intoxicated with the ‘amazing connection’ you two have is key. Is he consistent? How does chatting with him make you feel? Does he seem authentic? Does he respect your feelings? If he does those things, chances are that he’s for real. Just MHO.

Also...especially with the ones who seem like they’re “too good to be true” - they are! If they try to get you to switch to WhatsApp or something like that right away, watch the grammar and the awkwardness of how they express themselves. For me they have always turned out to be scams or liars, at best. Don’t waste your time; if they don’t want to respect you and get to know you where you feel comfortable, pass.

The very best sex happens when a woman feels that you like and respect her, just the way she is, when she feels that she can be herself, and that she isn’t just some shallow conquest for you. There is not much that is “less” hot than someone making you feel like you’re totally interchangeable, entirely forgettable and fungible. Be a decent person, consider others’ feelings, don’t use people and you’ll be surprised at the response you get...just like OP did.

In a way though her supposed ‘lack of self-esteem’ is not close to being as salient as her mean-spiritedness in doing something like that. If she hated herself wouldn’t she just have felt unworthy? How is doing this to someone hating yourself?

Why are some people so vicious...I don’t get it. That is so repulsive, to do that to ppl who express interest in you.😳😑

This was my reaction too, what a jerk she is. OP just be glad she didn’t call you! Putting someone’s personal info online like that is shit behaviour.

If I could offer my thoughts...focus on asking questions and listening. That is way easier and much more interesting than having to think about what to say. Ask them about favourite things, what things they want to achieve in life, how they chose their profession - the list of possible topics is endless! What that does is show that you are interested in learning about them, that you’re intelligent and engaging and that you’re different. Good luck!😉

This is on my heart and on my mind, so much. It’s difficult to capture the damage that has been and is being done to men as a result of this, and the fallout will not only prove to be negative for them, but for women as well. Long before the #metoo idiocy, feminism has seen fit to insult and berate men every chance they get, and they do so with impunity! No one ever gets called to task or reproved for being discriminatory, slanderous or just plain rude - they applauded for having the “balls” to …

You’re right...the best thing to do is to live your life, and that way you will likely find people who share your interests. It can take a while to find someone right for you, but it does happen. I wish you much happiness!😌

That is kind of sad...honestly I don’t know what’s going on with a lot of women today. They seem kind of unpleasant to be around and often impossible to please, what with supposed “height restrictions” where they won’t talk to men under a certain height or with a certain profession. That is just not being a decent person; I am sure most of them are not offering perfection in exchange! Saying hello, asking how my day is going, commenting about a book I’m looking at - it would not matter much, bec…

Here’s the thing: so many times I’m out for a walk by myself, and would be delighted for someone to come talk to me, about pretty much anything! You just never know until you try sometimes...plus the more you strike up conversations, the easier it gets. For real.😊Good luck OP!

I can't even believe how differently men and women get treated when it comes to this stuff. That it is allowed to happen is unbelievable, that no one stops the blatant bias towards women being able to use rape allegations to get back at people is unconscionable. :-( I want to be a men's rights advocate, it's gone way, way too far...😳😳

Taking the path of least resistance....being unable or unwilling to accept delayed gratification...thinking that this pleasure "right now", beats a dubiously better one in the future.... You win in incremental steps, by preparing for tomorrow today, by having actual measurable actionable goals.
