Oh yeah of course they expect relationships. They want their mommies, as you said. But it’s our job as women to be the gatekeepers and not let these scrotes continue to contaminate the gene pool.

I mean, as far as I’m concerned that guy can jerk off into his diaper all he wants... as long as he stays the fuck away from women and we don’t allow him to pass his fucked up genes onto our children.

Right but the same goes for guys under the table trying to peep at your vag under your skirt. Having a foot fetish doesn’t make you more likely to act depraved than someone who doesn’t.

I did the hookup thing for a bit after my ex and I broke up because he was only the second man I’d ever slept with and I wanted to know what I’d been missing. I’d say that I enjoyed most of it (maybe 20% of them were “bad”) but only 10% were truly amazing. After awhile I got tired of having to find someone new and I decided I wanted a FWB instead. I spent TWO months looking for one, and I finally had to call it quits because I couldn’t find a man who could pass the vetting process and actually m…

I agree he probably has ulterior motives, but OTOH we don’t know that he didn’t try to talk to her. He didn’t say either way. How many FDSers have talked about their former Pick Me friends who they had to cut ties with or step back from because they kept whining about their toxic LVMs but refused to listen to FDS advice?

Also I’ve been self-employed all my adult life and have no plans to change that, so a “CV” has never been my thing.

Yes, I know that. That’s why I’m saying it’s hard. Because I don’t want to have to work AND be a SAHM.

Yeah. I feel exactly the same way. The thing is that I’m in a better financial situation than most. The only way I’d be willing to have children on my own is if I was independently wealthy and didn’t have to work AT ALL. And while that’s a great goal, it may never happen for me.

The only real part of FDS I find to be hard in practice is the advice I see about that if you want to have children you should basically prepare yourself to be a single mother regardless of whether you find a man or not because a) you’ll be doing most of the work anyway and b) if your marriage goes south you have to be prepared to be a single mom so that you don’t end up clinging onto a man for financial reasons. Aside from the happiness that comes with finding a good partner, the only real reas…

Ugh. A man baby at 51? Who wants that?

You shouldn’t have had to ask him, and no way does a man who just yesterday told you that he “doesn’t want labels” actually love you. You yourself knew this was a red flag, so IDK why you’re upset that other FDSers are calling it out as one?

I don’t try to explain things to men anymore. I’m very clear cut and straightforward as it is. If they’re too dumb to get it, they’re not worth my time.

If he’s shitting himself, hand him off to his momma and let HER change him while you find yourself a real man 🤣🤣🤣

Man. Men are such fucking crybabies aren’t they? He could have used that time to work on himself and move on, but noooo... they just fuck around and then act all surprised when the world moves on without them.

The OP is a woman... so your argument is invalid. Also, as others have said, code-switching is a thing. 🤷🏾‍♀️

“I was fine with things like they were” What an asinine statement. And proof that all he cares about was how he felt about the relationship, not you. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Glad you left him, sis.

Yup. That’s how it was when I broke up with my ex-husband. I’d been thinking about it for months, trying to figure out if I could swing it financially. Then when I was ready, I told him about the issues I had and what I wanted him to work on, then left him two weeks later when it was clear that he wasn’t taking me seriously. It was a huge relief and I was SO ready.

He obviously can’t learn since he dicked around for 2 years instead of actually following through...

Yeah I personally wouldn’t be able to do it. And the fact that their other friends were egging the dude on to wedding crash? 🤮

Oh it’s absolutely a HEA for her, except that this scrote is going to try and ruin her wedding. She shouldn’t have offered him the option to reconcile IMO because he basically took that to mean that she was still his and he could go fuck around while she waited for him 🙄

And yet, ironically, when they say “You’ll never do better than me”, it’s also a red flag. Men complain all the time about how women talk too much but really, they’d do so much better if they learned to keep their mouthes shut more often because half the time it’s shit like this.

IDK that’s a little victim-blamey. Not all women are as jaded and suspicious as they ought to be. Of course she should have “seen the signs” but this man clearly saw that she was in need of a father figure and he preyed on that. That isn’t her fault.

That’s honestly the worst part. Don’t want to see her again? Fine. But ripping out the plants you GAVE her? It’s a violation and beyond petty.

It’s actually kind of disheartening to know that they never change. Once a scrote, always a scrote.

Seriously. And the worst part is that she has to continue to live right next door to this creep.

This. Once I realized that I didn’t need to keep investing energy into people who weren’t investing in me, my whole life turned around. If I don’t feel wanted, I go spend time with my friends and family who DO want me. Having your own social circle and interests has really helped increase my own sense of self-worth.

Ugh. A good friend of mine is getting a divorce because of this shit. Her husband is in the army and they’ve been together 20+ years but in the last few months he’s been working in a male and female unit for the first time (he’s always worked with men in the past). She basically called him out for having a “work wife” and for flirting with these women and he sort of shrugged and was like “I know this is hurting you but I don’t want to stop.” The fucker moved out and now here he is wanting to mov…

“I only had sex once in my life” Has it ever occurred to this scrote that the reason for that is because he’s an LVM and actual HVW don’t want to sleep with him? Also he’s clearly lumping “women who are too good for him” in with LVWs which is fuckwit behavior too. Doesn’t want a woman with high ambition or who has her own interests that have nothing to do with him, then wonders why he only gets asked out by women he’s not attracted to. What a douche.

I recently told a guy to buzz off and never text me again because he contacted me out of the blue after ghosting me months ago. His response was to call me an fat ugly brown girl with a giant nose and that I was a “pig monster.” Way to be butthurt, guy. 🙄

By “may” I hope you mean that he either IS going to work on them, or you’re going to leave his ass. There’s really no in-between here. He either loves and respects you enough to be there for you in all ways, or he doesn’t, and if he doesn’t that’s a huge problem.

I would maybe tell them they’re coming? If I were the parent I would want to make sure my daughter never received them or knew about them. The gifts are either going to disturb/creep her out OR she’ll fall for the trap and then be mad at her parents when they take them away. Better to just avoid all that altogether I think.
