Sounds about right. Teaching someone how to fight well can be very dangerous. Violence is only acceptable as a last resort. The original commentator doesn't seem to agree though. Well, free will is important. We humans sometimes only truly learn from mistakes and suffering. I just hope she won't end up on r/abuse anytime soon.

You missed the point entirely. It is undeniable that violence is widespread, and that everyone can have it inflicted upon themselves. What I'm questioning is you liking violence. There's a difference between protecting oneself from external dangers and enjoying violence. I'm not judging you by the way, you're entitled to an opinion, I'm just trying to understand how is it possible to like violence while also expecting to be shielded from it.
