14	How to not appear or come across as intimidating, stoic, scary, or creepy. (AKA: How to look relaxed and approachable) I know how you feel. I'm a big, muscly black dude (6'2 275 pound athlete). I've had house parties shut down because I walk in and people thought they were in danger. Police called because "a suspicious person was walking around," etc. Some things that I do is: Don't wear shady clothes (i.e. large, black hoodie with hood on) Try to appear friendly.
