Let me elaborate: In many areas, there is a subtext of not talking to the police because of an honor code. That code stems from not only criminal affiliations, but from the "Us vs. Them" mentality that is still prevalent in poor areas today. Can someone explain to me why he didn't just call the cops and let them get rid of her. Did he just not want the hassle? What am I missing? Edit: His phone was his camera and he didn't want to stop recording, because that bitch was crazy. Also police in the Bronx are slow and might get startled at a black guy and shoot him.
