| 3 | First night alone, kindaSeparating after 15 years too. I move into my apartment Saturday. I'm nervous as hell. No kids to worry about, but I do still worry about her. We are both moving out of our long time home at the same time. Signing that lease feels like I either did the best thing or worst thing in my life. My movers show up Saturday morning and she hasn't been clear about what furniture I can even take. I'll get an air mattress if need be. One things for sure there is no going back. | 1 | 15 years, no kids. This isn't easy.I am 43. I think sleeping in opposite rooms first came about from me being a very light sleeper and snoring interrupting my sleep. As she gained weight, it go worse. Then even when she lost some weight it had just become the norm for us. It's strange how quickly something becomes "normal". I wish I could have gone back and addressed it sooner. We may have had a shot at salvaging things. Now, I'm moving on with separation. I signed a lease and will move in this weekend.
