I did too. This community helped a lot. Still helps a lot. Almost a year in, I still read new posts every morning. It helps to see where others are at on their journey. It's a helpful reminder than things will get better with time. Also, I got a dog. She's been immensely helpful. The cats helped some, but the dog has kept me out of the darkness. You sound like you're handling it better than I did. My wife said she regretted getting married. That she shouldn't be married to anyone. Sucks that she figured that out three years too late. Sounds like you've got a good head on your shoulders, you got this. For what it's worth, I found much more helpful advice on r/divorce_men than on r/divorce.

I hate to admit it, but hindsight is 20/20. I was madly in love with my wife. I was devastated when she asked for the divorce. But I've spent this year looking back on it, and I really should have seen it coming from a mile away. I'll be signing papers any day now and I can honestly say I'm in a better place now than I was at any point during our marriage. Hang in there.
