The love you have with your baby will surpass anything you’ll ever want from him. I have the most incredible daughter who is 19 now but it feels like yesterday that I was in your shoes. My daughter turned out wonderful, my life turned out just fine. Let him go. Focus on being a wonderful mom and showing your daughter how to be treated or your son how to treat women. One day at a time.

Everyone here has made any other points I would have. The only remaining thought? He's chasing dopamine. There's likely a chronic depletion. Is he impulsive, wreckless or spontaneous in other ways? (Ie spending, new hobbies he gets then abandons, etc) The online thing is often a dopamine addiction)same with doom scrolling). If any of this fits, there's a book called Dopamine Nation that is eye opening and pretty life changing.

It's strange because not only do they often hate men, they hate the women who don't. The rabid attacks I've been the target of for coming to the defense of men, advocating for them, and working in men's mental health are insane. Many times my input will reflect just how harmful the feminist or boss base narrative has been to male clients (while maintaining privacy). I'm not presenting as "anti-woman" just clearly advocating for men. I get called a "pick me girl," (newsflash I'm 42) or "I hOpE hE…

(For the most part) People get what they give. I have had wonderful experiences with men since fixing my own bullshit. When I had baggage, I attracted baggage. Sure, there are outliers but if we all work on ourselves first, the dating pool of healthy people increases and the cycle of creating more bitter damaged and dysfunctional people/relationships decreases.

Food for thought...I think it depends on your target audience/market. I don't know how old you are but I'm a 42 year old, tall, blonde, feminine woman. I'm on the more natural side of things...don't wear make up most days but have my nails/toes done (short and simple), nice hair etc. Sun dresses or work out type clothes (yoga and tank). Just casual...I don't wear fancy shoes or use designer bags. I'm always very friendly with a smile. I'm approached often. I'm complimented often. While I'm since…

I am not saying this to disregard your frustration or invalidate your feelings - you're the gay man experiencing this so I value your input over mine - but it made me think; when my friend group would go out, we would often go to gay bars for the sake of our gay male friends. The rest of us were straight couples and our gay boys (lovingly said Iol) felt uncomfortable in straight bars and/or bc they were single wanted to be where they could meet people and would ask to go there instead. It doesn'…

Those are the same women who bitch to their friends about their men when they do something "wrong." I was raised without any family to gossip with (thank God, no desire) and have had few female friends in my life due to being raised by a single dad in a male dominated world (USMC/LE). I've learned by luck and default to leave your female friends and family out of your relationships 💯 They will stir the pot and get in other women's heads, or instill/create doubt. Jealousy often pops up, they hold…

It is absolutely okay for you to want that. Go forth and make lots of babies too please (if you prefer 😇).

Why is it not okay for me to be a straight biological woman who prefers to be with a straight biological male? I'm not alleging anyone else is wrong in their own preferences, I'm only saying what is right for ME.

Absolutely. I apply the same logic to myself and keep my numbers low as well because I simply don't want to sleep around. Granted, I'm 42 so my number would obviously be higher today than when I was 20, the logic behind it is that I simply prefer to keep my number low relative to time/age. HOWEVER, I have no external judgement to women or men who want to sleep around anymore than I have any issue with men who suck/fuck dick, it's just not who I'll be (knowingly) dating. :)

I feel very much the same for my son, but he's your age and doing well with being one step ahead, always using social precaution, being sure to cover his ass even when it seems he doesn't need to, and minimizing being alone with girls (ie always have a witness or be in a place with cameras). While he's not having sex just yet, (because he's also so afraid of the stories), he knows by practicing all of the good due diligence now, it will become second nature when he is having sex (which I'm sure …

Wtaf. Even the ones who "leave a bad taste" - it is their plight too. It isn't your job to reinforce anything here, that's such a woman thing to do, move into a man's house and then try to change the things she doesn't like about it/him. u/handsomejock was hardly being aggressive. Blunt and to the point, sure - but your reply was far more aggressive in tone; to further engage with emasculating and belittling mockery by saying things like "Hahaha....You're just being ignorant because your(sic) up…

You're not helping. I'm a woman who regularly comments here. This is not the way. If anything, you pulled a bait and switch on them in their own sub. Your intention may have been good, but the impact? Not so much.

First of all I want to say no one should be the shaming the details surrounding your suicidal ideation. Many men have similar feelings of contempt and resentment regarding their bodies being altered without their consent. Tone is often lost in text (so I say this with kindness) but I want to point out from reading other comments and replies - it does appear that you interpret other replies with a filter that "sees it" in a negative light. Intention over impact is something I try to rebalance in …

Yeah, I wasn't that clear about what I meant there in my rush/multitasking. I was more rhetorically reversing the roles of a woman refusing to give head but it didn't translate well. It's the weaponizing of sex that I see so often - BJ's on his birthday only, "I guess he's not getting any 🙄." I know some of this can be taken lightly in context, but in my world, we see the extremes which was the birth of my initial post :)

(Yeah, I wasn't that clear about what I meant there in my rush/multitasking. I was more rhetorically reversing the roles of a woman refusing to give head but it didn't translate well.) Hmmm, I wish it were that simple but I respectfully disagree and hold space for any man or woman who has limits in the bedroom even if I understand it. I don't however, agree when they weaponize it. The latter was moreso my inference above: ie partners who reserve BJ's for "special occasions," make their husbands"…

Many of our clients have horrific body image issues, depression disorders, c-ptsd, generalized anxiety, panic disorders, self worth/self esteem struggles, sexual inadequacy beliefs, sexual dysfunction, unreasonable life pressures, and/or dependency/addiction issues that by their own belief or therapeutic discovery were born or exacerbated by verbal, emotional and or physical abuse of significant females in their life. Many of the workplace anxiety and depression cases are very similar to this po…

As a woman who works in men's mental health, I have a unique insight into the damage caused to men with crap like this. While I have always been a cheerleader for men in general, I was once able to do so without having a negative view of women. That is getting harder and harder to do. Seeing the effects of female toxicity, gross double standards, and the hen dens utter disregard for the men in their presence - it makes me feel like I've seen what's behind the curtain. Many women have put me on t…

I didn't necessarily mean retraction at "little" age. :) Merely that good hygiene habits beginning to be taught at that age is possible. My kids needed help with bathing when they were littles but the effort was there. Once my son got older he was obviously doing it on his own, but he knew once retracting occurred it was just another part of hygiene that was already there in habit.

Exactly. As a woman I can say - if little girls can be taught to clean up in their flaps, then little boys can certainly be taught to clean their peen. Genitals just stink sometimes lol. I've never met an uncut guy with a dirty dick. If anything they are more clean bc they are so self concious of it thanks to society making stupid jokes about dick cheese.

You can't own what an adult did to you while a child, you can only own what you do with it moving forward. Anxiety drives us crazy because we want to DO something to relieve the panic and feelings. You're searching for something you can do to stop the spiral which is normal. Try to find an action that's a forward movement...it will help you feel accomplished. Maybe call your insurance or community groups to look into therapy, set a goal for today. Maybe today's goal could be to call 5 places. Ju…

By the way....one thing I want to tell you, please - give yourself some compassion. Trauma and childhood adversity (again I don't know your past situation) causes reactions when we are afraid (perhaps of getting too close emotionally), triggered (maybe feeling ignored or rejected), or when our brain says "this reminds me of something from my past! Danger!" (for instance a parent who would inconsistently give love/affection could make someone run away or self sabotage a seemingly secure relations…

Absolutely, but please - stop saying for him. If you improve FOR YOU, by default you will be a better partner. Don't feed the the co-dependancy demon by people pleasing, and looking for validation behind "for me's" There's an element of urgency and desperation (in the pleading sense) to your tone that says your motivation is the fastest way from point A to B to make sure he doesn't leave. Your goal should be to heal and find a version of yourself that is okay no matter what the outcome. One that…

You've got some disorganized attachment patterns displaying in your post and comments. While it would be unethical of me to offer any significant therapeutic advice, I do feel comfortable suggesting you look into attachment patterns and see if any self reflection assists you in determining why you seemingly self-sabotage as well present insecure and anxious behaviors to challenge the loyalty of those you claim you want to be in your life. You made reference in a comment about feeling like you ne…

I'm an attractive woman (or so society tells me) in America, but very natural in most ways. I can throw on a Ballcap and sunglasses and be ready in 5 minutes but still be considered attractive. I rarely wear more make up than chapstick, I don't have extentions, fillers, or any cosmetic surgery. I do get my nails done but short and feminine, nothing gaudy or extreme. I wear natural looking lash extentions (I hate mascara) and color my hair maintaining a normal color, nothing bright or crazy. That…

Let the man live. Why must women flip out over men looking at other women or different types of women than them? He had a life before you, men are visual, accounts get sold. It has nothing to do with you at all. I've never in my 42 years lost a bf to porn or an ig/of girl. Apples and oranges. I'm not always going to think about my SO when I rub one out, why would I ever think he should be stuck thinking about me lol. Live it up bb. Besides, errrrrybody has an OF these days lol.

This thread is fascinating. I'm 5'10, 170, hourglass - at 42, I am finding this version of my body to be the best and most healthy as well as what attracts he most men. I'm curvy but muscular while maintaining feminine (to my standards), I'm athletic, yet have the softness I prefer without being fat and feel confident naked. No one ever believes I weigh 170 bc I guess that number conjures up a larger image? It just shows how deceiving it can be. I like being an amazon and I know that's not for e…

No need to convince me :) I agree with you more than it may seem even if I don't like it. We likely just have seen different sides of it so our input collides at a few points. I have the female perspective once they are sick of the result games render, and you have the male input you've spoken of above. I like to think there are in-between's, but those aren't who generally land in my ear. Hope that made sense - no coffee yet.

People may not like how this was packaged, but it is pretty accurate for many women. We've said for decades that women want the bad boys and there is truth behind that for many women. You just gave it a different leather jacket to wear in your description. Many women will chase the ones who seem unavailable in hopes they can tame him, at the very least, they feel validated when he gives them that "hit" of attention. The "give just enough to keep them hanging on" is an approach that works for man…
