There are definitely romantic men out there who take initiative and plan dates and want to romance you. The knights in shining armor. When a man is truly in love and not settling he will see you as the prize, as the princess he must care for and you will feel it 100%. You only have one life - seek who you truly want. It sounds like it’s not him. I recommend Margarita Nazarenko’s videos on feminine energy to understand more what gets me to see you as the prize.

The biggest red flag is how quickly he overpowers you when given the chance. Are you sure this is someone you want to be in a long term relationship with?

Funny enough I feel feminism is more in line with “woman does everything” leaving men with no role.

People who are happily in love don’t go on purple pill Reddit, I agree. People who come here are trying to understand why they struggle with men/ women.

If a woman is truly into you she will respond to your initiative by showering you with love and affection. If you get nothing in return you should end the relationship and keep looking. People often stay in unfulfilling relationships longer than they should because they think being unfulfilled is the norm.

You also have to realize that being an initiator and taking action are seen as masculine and therefore attractive to most women. I was the one who initiated the relationship, sex, dates nearly everything with my exboyfriend. Toward the end of that relationship I finally admitted to myself that his lack of initiative was unattractive to me.

I have usually been the initiator and the one to approach shy men. What I’ve found is that I attract the wrong type of man that way - the kind of who will end up being passive in the relationship. Now I would rather be approached rather than be the one approaching because this is a more effective filter and is the first step in showing that he’s willing to put effort into a relationship.

I’ve had age gap relationships (20 years age gaps) in my early 20s. Now I’m in my 30s. It’s not that complicated. I could easy make a case against dating young men - men in their 20s commit most of the violent crimes, way more than older men. It’s sounds absurd to tell women they should never date men in their 20s because they’re all violent criminals because it IS absurd to discount an entire group of people based on age.

YES - when young men go after cougars no one coddles them or treats them like poor babies who are getting manipulated by scary older women. Only women are treated like children who need to protected from their own choices.

It sounds like maybe he was gay but couldn’t be true to himself in that era of history

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
