This is a great comment. 80% of divorce is women led.

No. I'm stressed out trying to learn how to fix all the leaks, wiring, damp issues, guttering etc, I told her it was getting overwhelming for me as it's all new to me too. She said she didn't want to get involved because she wasn't good at it. I said I'm not any better, but I need her support in some matters.

I've been in a few relationship break ups. Usually I'm the one to end things. The most recently before marriage was the girl who ended things. This time my wife seems to be going through similar motions so I guess I can feel it coming. I have a feeling the reason for breaking up is similar.

She said she's not happy because she doesn't feel respected. Lately our house has given us a lot of problems. Renovation stress and some financial woes. I've asked her to be more proactive in developing and sharing an understanding of house maintenence, and that was the final straw for her it seems. Personally I know we have communication issues. She doesn't represent herself confidently and projects her feelings of inadequacy onto me.

I just read through your post. Very similar, except no business and no alcohol. Yes yo : Communication issues and a shared mortgage.

We tried counselling already. We ended on quite a happy note, butit highlighted communication issues between us that are quite difficult to resolve.

Yeah maybe we'll put that on hold.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
