I know a lot about the alt right and that's not really true. The Nazis were really tailored to 1930s Germany and it doesn't really translate into the current year in any meaningful way. The alt right celebrates Naziism and its symbols, but is really a movement that's about issues in 2017, especially American issues. Calling them Nazis isn't wildly off, but it loses a lot in translation.
