It doesn't have to be like that in every situation regarding marriage and it isn't. Just because it happened to someone else doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen to me. And I for one like working things out instead of things just escalating to the point of where I have to take my wife to court and fight for custody or whatever. If it has to go to that point, then it's obvious that person doesn't need to be in a relationship. That goes for both parties too.

Definitely does, thanks man. I've never experienced rock bottom as far a marriage goes, but I have with family and being kicked out. If anything, it has made me realize a lot of things in my life, like being more independent and also coming to the realization that family members are some of the most worst people to stab you in the back and leave you feeling worthless.

I agree that it's a risk to take and I recently was in a really shit relationship with a very immature person. Right now I'm focusing on me and my education. I also want to enjoy myself and be able to live a little before I settle down and get married and I'll no longer have that freedom when that day comes.
