You forgot the "if" in your quote. I did not say I would go to bed with any woman I'm attracted to, I talked about how it would go if I happened to get to bed with a woman I'm attracted to. Reading comprehension, dude. Some guys do. Same way some white people feel dread thinking about what their ancestors did. I started my paragraph with a "If I happened to be a man with gender consciousness", so I'm pretty aware most men don't give a shit what their ancestors or even their peers do.

And I'm showing him that the assumptions behind his analogy are flawed, dumbass. "Imagine ovulating every day" doesn't even make sense to me as a woman. And men being attracted to me isn't a "but" to my libido. These are separate things.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/24 05:18 PM

I don't have ovulation peak, my libido is stable and high. I've lost hope in men in general because while many are attractive, they mostly see my body as an object and won't even put in the effort to make me cum. I can deal with that fine.

It's because men don't have to see women as a possible source of violence for them and also know that even if the woman is pretty much uncooperative they can still use her body to orgasm. Meanwhile women need to be constantly on the look out to avoid violence and depend on male cooperation for sex to be fulfilling. Which means women would have to first learn to associate random men to a possibility of pleasure (requiring an ostensive cooperative stance from men in general) before they can get al…

I don't understand what you mean by "introductory penis". My point is exactly that women lack the power to make their desires abundantly known and clear for men. The stuff that men "maxx" is usually off mark, fairly centered in a For this platform to be highly-effective it would have to be supported by real-life experience of men caring for women pleasure, besides media reinforcement. Exactly what it would like is something I can't tell you, because while male desire has been sung, written, draw…

You can't be serious. There's no lack of research showing psychotherapy to be effective. While it might take a while to find a good fit, it's worth it. Still, you are proving my point: it's not that men's mental health is not taken seriously, but that men refuse treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 08:27 PM

I guess I should clarify that the point of my comment was not to say that all of these are enviable, but to bring awareness to how what we call "male lust" is not just a matter of hormones, but it's supported by a social network that caters for male sexuality. This is often neglected when we talk about male and female lust experiences. I would love to be seen as "easy", because it would mean that my pleasure is taken into account and recognized as something of value. Instead I'm endlessly bombar…

It's not you individually, it's the wider pattern of male talk around sex that's disappointing to hear over and over. It's less of a bitter stance and more of an adjustment to the reality of male sexuality. From my perspective being receptive to sex as a joint activity isn't nearly enough. Sex should be primarily a joint activity, the exception being one-sidedness.

It's not a mater of "intimacy", it's a matter of actual sexual stimulation. The fact that so many men's preferred position is one that women don't like and y'all can clearly see why is really telling. Thankfully in the age of internet we can hear the way men speak about this things and be self-aware enough not to let any man "bend" us. Thanks for the "it's conducing to manual stimulation" though, next time I sit on a guy's face I'll put his hand on his dick. It's a position conducive to manual s…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:11 PM

I find it lame when a guy's first thought about sex is a position where a woman still needs to take care of herself while providing ample visual and tactile stimulation for the man. It spells selfish and lazy, but that might be a fair portrait of some men's lust patterns: fucking a woman and leaving her to do all the work to get an O. Most men love this position for this reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 12:55 PM

On average, yes, I would. Being a man would mean not getting anxious over doing doggy and a guy suddenly shoving his finger on my asshole. It would also mean not having to prepare for having a person twice my size and considerably stronger try to choke me out of the blue. I would also not have to worry about being stealthed. It would also mean not having to worry about experiencing pregnancy in my own body and having my life at risk. It would also mean a smaller probability of getting STDs and U…

Men do have the choice to do wear sexually provocative clothing. Gay men exemplify this pretty well. A lot of women like this type of clothing in men. Shirts and pants don't curb harassment. They need to be baggy to help a little and baggy clothing for women is seen as unprofessional and "masculine", sometimes inviting hostile harassment for that. And you might still be sexualized for bending, for example. There's no comparison between the two, really.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 12:00 PM

The least likely to make us cum.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 11:50 AM

While you're at it, why not give head to each other and leave women alone?

Oh. In this case I agree.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 03:55 AM

The male loneliness crises has been in the headlines for quite a while. How come their mental health isn't taken seriously?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:56 AM

hey no need to tell me about the joys of bending backs Then y'all wonder why women don't want to fuck or take so much time to cum.

Imagine the whole world catering to your sexual fantasies. A billion dollar industry dedicated to your lust. People from the other gender having life-threatening procedures to have a more pleasing body for you. No one pretending not to know where the head of your penis is!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:42 AM

most ppl don’t take men’s mental health seriously All around me all I see is women urging their partners to go to therapy or visit the doctor. They are reluctant.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:39 AM

It could backfire horribly (personal experience). IUD's can cause unbearable pain. It's a hassle (and makes the procedure significantly more expensive) to undergo sedation for the procedure, so women are expected to have their cervix pierced through while only on ibuprofen. My worst period before IUD insertion was a breeze compared to the pain levels I endured for 1 whole year before taking it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:38 AM

At the same time people are prone to romanticizing what they imagine to be the other gender's experience. And this easily translate into being dismissive of the other gender's more accurate perception of their experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:34 AM

It benefits them as long as women put up with it and they can still have the indirect pleasure of a nice presentation and clothing throught women's bodies and sense of style. It's limiting, but at the same time it grants a more stable position of power. Having someone dressing up in pleasing ways to be around you while not having to put in the same amount of effort does spell power. Again, as long as it works socially and women don't actually demand anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:23 AM

I think this is a misconception. Life is hard for women who dress in ways that are perceived as "masculine" as well, but they face the challenge head on. This might be one area where women are a bit more brave. It might be because women are already subjected to harassment and violence. I did not mean that every man that dresses conformist is lazy, but some of them sure are.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 01:00 AM

Yeah I know that. It's actually one of the reasons why most men putt me off, I find the way they dress pretty dull and often simply lazy. I would like to see more men facing the harassment and discomfort of going against the norm, just like so many women do all the time.

Some is different from the overwhelming male majority. They are clearly the notable exceptions, while power has always been seen as naturally male. I see. That's why I said "much more relaxed" during sex, instead of "fully relaxed", to make room for the minor male stress.

I'd rather be limited in colors than face sexual harassment. I do dress in a more uniform manner often to avoid harassment, but there's only so much I can do about the fact that I have a female body. What you are describing is the fact that men have the option of actually avoiding clothing-based sexual harassment, while I'm pointing that women don't have that choice truly.

but it doesn’t really affect me that much. Because you are a man and you have no idea what it feels to be wiped off the face of history like that. I know there is some anxiety, but embarrassment is different from having your pleasure and actual physical safety at the hands of another person. If the condom breaks or birth control fails, an unwanted person starts growing in between your organs and taking it out of your body might kill you. You are illustrating perfectly the oblivious male perspect…

You are missing her point. She said that for straight women the "easy sex" y'all say we have at our disposal is just as awful as it would be for a straight man to spread his cheeks for a dude or suck his dick.

You happily never have sex again because woman sex drives are insanely low compared to the average man. You have been near a lot of women who were getting shitty sex from men. Women's sex drives aren't lower, y'all just make sex unappealing to us with violence, objectification, lack of reciprocation, etc.

I imagine it might feel pretty affirming to look at literature and see that most celebrated authors are men. The greatest inventors. The greatest leaders. Upon learning how women were held back from education and politics, I would notice the injustice, but this would not taint my view of these former leaders. I would enjoy not having to calculate how much harassment my outfit is likely to get me (I see men bending down without thinking twice and I envy that). Unless I had one of those crippling …

It's the same reason why guy men are seen with disgust while lesbians are mostly erased. One is crossing the line to the inferior "feminine" side. Again, you are talking about dominatrixes and findom. I don't think you understand what an actual dominant woman means and how even so called "submissive men" are averse to actual dominant women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/24 05:10 PM

They don't, just like dominant men don't struggle to find a partner like dominant women do.

Dominatrixes aren't actual dominant women. They are providing a service. Read my first paragraph again.

Submissive men in the BDSM context just means men that like to be serviced by hot angry women. Male subs are just as entitled as dom subs. And yes, they are often lazy and want the woman to do everything. But outside of all the roleplay and paraphernalia of BDSM and cuckoldry bullshit there are some - few and far in between - actually submissive men. They have as much of a hard time as an actual dominant woman has finding a partner. Both outside the heterosexual norm.

I don't think of the dom-sub relationship as an abstract concept. I think of the cultural machine that presents male-dom/female-sub as a sexual standard and how this influences women's safety and freedom for sexual experimentation in heterosexual practice. And it seems in this regard, you believe that even porn that shows men being objectified might exacerbate the issue of gender oppression saturating the media. I disagree that men are being objectified in femdom. The genre does exarcebate the i…

I'm a straight woman, so gay porn is not my main area of concern. All I can say is that talking to gay friends many report frustration at the rigid heteronormative dynamics present in gay porn and how they don't reflect how actual gay sex happens, at least in their experience. Many feel frustrated because of the increasing rigidity of some younger folk regarding the active (masculinized) and passive (feminized) roles. I want to make clear that I don't think of any of this as inherently problemat…

I don't know if this stuff can change once it takes hold of one's sexuality. But I think we can do some damage control to avoid further reinforcing of these roles and raising awareness. Currently we are doing the opposite, with more and more normalization of man-dom/woman-sub dynamics in media. This means we are paving the way for a new generation of men and women getting trapped there. We need, as a society, to take accountability for the kind of media we circulate and what kind of world of ima…

porn where men are submissive, as in the case of the female-dominant or gay porn. This kind of porn is mainly produced for male watchers. To get a big tit goth woman to slap your balls and then suck them while framing her ass for the camera doesn't really shift any power dynamics. It's still women serving men and centering their pleasure. In an alternative reality where there's no gender oppression, some sorts of dom-sub relationships could be non-problematic. In our timeline, though, we have to…

But here’s the deeper issue: women don’t fully come clean about their preferences because doing so would lead to the extinction of the ‘nice stable guy.’ Most women don't think men are good/bad because they think this will get them relationships. We don't feel like what attracts us has much bearing on what kind of guy and conduct he will truly have. Nice stable guys are nice stable guys, regardless of women being attracted to them or not. And the same goes for bad boys.

From my perspective it's just sad. Most of them don't know they'll get this kind of treatment, he knows he'll ghost but he strings her along. If it was about people using each other for quick mutually pleasurable sex, there would be no need for this kind of manipulation.

Nah, it's about feeling like you have the upper hand in regard to women. If it was just about having lots of sex, you would just say that and not talk about pump n dump or ghosting. The "lifestyle" you are talking about is about feeling a bit of power.

It's almost amusing, the deep fear men like you have of not feeling some sort of dominance towards women by treating them as disposable bodies.

Some types of harassment are about power, others are about selfish sexual gratification, and most include and use the woman's appearance. No sexual assault is only about power, they all have layers of sexuality, however perverse. This sexuality is often not about admiration, but it's still a sexuality.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/24 08:02 PM

Frankly it depends on her body type, age and face. Some women won't be left alone no matter what they dress, other can pretty much conceal their body and get off men's radar easily. These women might still be occasionally harassed, but they won't be ogled and cat called everywhere they go.

If you live in the west its literally the safest it has ever been. It's still simply not good enough. It's not rare to get strangled without warning during casual/ons sex. Different from a gay man with a straight man, when there's a level of cumplicity because both are doing something that is still socially frowned upon and both are invested in keeping it low, men have low preoccupations about hurting or distressing women in casual sex. Women gravitating towards the same men Nah lack of reciproc…

Could be the case, sure. This still leaves us with the pleasure and threat problem. Lust arises when one can look at a person and imagine them as a source of pleasure. Men are often disappointingly selfish in bed. Men are also the people more likely to exert violence towards women. Do you think these are conditions conducive to lust? Besides, women do put in a lot of effort in appearance, which signals women value it. The fact that some gay men are ok putting up with other men's lack of effort m…

Straight men put in less effort than straight women and gay men. Twinks don't "just exist". They use certain clothes to accentuate their skinny, they have a certain demeanor, they shave their beard/mustache, they often wax their whole body. No, women have the reasonable expectation that men will attempt to make them orgasm. If they start, most women will direct them. If they don't, what's the point? You keep trying to use men's attraction as parameters for what women's sexuality should be. "Wome…

Twinks, otters, bears, leather daddys, all of them put in effort into showcasing their style and fitting the stereotype a bit. The attraction for the rought straight type has much to do with transgression, besides body type. It's also worth noticing that men have much more opportunity of seeing other men naked. What the fuck does cumming has to do with being lesbian? There's a thing called the orgasm gap, which means that heterosexual men do leave heterosexual women hanging, especially during ca…

In the gay community men are held to way higher physical standards. They dress to impress constantly, show a lot more skin, are well groomed. Besides, since they are interacting with a body like their own, they are more likely to be able to extract and provide pleasure. Why would women get the hots for masculine features if they aren't generally associated with people that can make them cum and feel good? When their grooming is low and they are often hidden under baggy clothing? When they send s…
