Weird. I teach my boys not to put their hands on anyone out of anger. I also teach them that if someone puts their hands on you out of anger, they've accepted the consequences of their actions and my boys need to do what they need to do. I try not to use the "man enough" metaphor. People are going to fight one another, it's going to happen. Gender shouldn't be a factor in defending yourself.
