Its the same mental gymnastics flat earthers use. They have an idea that they know must absolutely be true. So they collect the data, not to confirm it, but to convince everyone else they are correct. But then they look at the data and are like "Shit the data supports that I am wrong! How can this be?!" And so they twist, distort and omit data to fit their ideology.

I know it's a funny saying but maybe there's a correlation: Women initiate divorce more than men. Around 70% more. Men also stay invested in marriage longer. 1 in 3 men believe a marriage can be saved through hard work. Where as that is 1 in 5 for women. I wonder if that has anything to do with who we marry and why we marry. The motivations behind the act. Women are often sold and indoctrinated on an idealized version of marriage where no one does the same to men.

You do realize prenups are not instantly recognized right? The judge has to decide their merit which is why usually only rich people who have trophy wives use them.

I'm assuming he'd have to pay 50% of each assets value to her. But I'm also assuming this dude wasn't a total idiot and cut things in half he knew he could pay for. Then again he's still paying her in order to be dramatic in which case she still wins in the end. Morale of the story don't get married.

This exchange makes alinity look bad until you read what she was responding to. And that they were taking cheap shots at her to make themselves look morally superior compared to the shit they were being called out on. Context matters folks.

If you knew the cultural issues with women in Japan it would make alot of sense. Not justified but make sense.

I wish a girl taller than me would've ever given me the time of day. Tall women are sexy as hell but I guess any women in the 6ft department have height standards more than most women below that.

But wouldn't that lead to less women because they aren't promoted through merit and hard work they get it because of their gender.

"You exist because we bleed." Sounds to me like she's saying I owe women for my existence because menstruation happens. If this was about accepting menstruation as a natural process women go through and having respect for it. Then Id have to say this a very very poor way of expressing that and this just seems smug and full of entitlement. Furthermore, what grown ass adult has a problem with menstruation? This seems like a manufactured crisis to score empowerment points.

But this lawsuit is for today. Where are the figures for 2015 to today? The lawsuit is only valid if it's a constant which by all indicators that 2015 year and possibly 2016 was an anomaly. Everyone keeps citing that the women won the cup but the men didn't but no one is comparing viewership, ticket sales and sponsors where that money comes from.

If anything it will draw negative criticism like in this thread.

I keep seeing this repeated in the thread but when I look it up myself this was 4 years ago and isn't a sustained result. Also from what I've read, percentage wise women get paid more than the men do but the overall revenue was lower for women due to viewership and turnout.

There are plenty of men that get girlfriends when it's pretty obvious she had better options. The difference is we don't always understand what drives certain people to be attracted to one another. There are always factors. But those factors don't always line up into what we assume would be the logical choice looking from the outside.

Your not understanding what he's saying. We act like women always need to be protected. He's not saying women are always protected. We pamper women because we as a society feel they are inferior. It's a sexist predisposition of how women are regarded. This goes into why we laugh at a man going through the exact same scenario that we would not laugh it if was a woman. It's really fucked up. Edit: I should point out women and men are both guilty of perpetuating this predisposition.

I was taken advantage of twice by women when I was a teenage boy. The shock and fear when a full grown woman rips your head back and says your sexy as fuck while not understanding what's going on... Not to mention the sexual issues this caused me as a teenage boy unsure of himself. Boys are abused all over and no one cares because women can't be predators.

The problem isn't that this woman wasn't charged when she should have been. It's that Americans don't see women as abusers when they are some of the most common that goes unreported. If anything is sexist it's that we don't see women as equally domestic abusers to men.

Context is everything buddy. Article is sensationalized. It even states she's gotten in multiple fights. Her coach knew what he was doing and she knew she wasn't going to break up anything. Sit. Your. Ass. On. The. Bench.
