1	I usually avoid texting and call, but I have a situation I have not encountered before. (deaf girl) I am Deaf myself. Texting is one of our main method of communicating, so just text away like you would with phone calls (of course it is slower than phone call) and do feel free to ask her how to best communicate with her. We usually are very happy when a hearing individual approach us with an open-mind and willingness to make an effort to communicate. Then you can just go from there.
