You know what, there IS a rape culture, and I'm a victim of it.Rape culture as they define it does exist though. So the best way to counter it is to show how they are the source. | /r/MensRights | 23/08/14 08:58 PM
You know what, there IS a rape culture, and I'm a victim of it.Yep. They define rape culture as the depiction of male sexuality as predatory and female as passive. So they are the rape culture. | /r/MensRights | 23/08/14 08:57 PM
Did Jessica Valenti pose in a male tears t-shirt in response to male suicide? They are pretty much group thinkers over there in the comments section, if you don't take whats said as gospel they are all over you strawmanning and pretending you are a feminist. | /r/MensRights | 01/08/14 06:02 PM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good?Yeah, I linked to passages from a book that describes how earlier men's activists coined the phrase toxic masculinity and began the conversation about it. I did that because unlike you, I'm not making it up as I go along and can back up my statements. | /r/MensRights | 02/07/14 12:56 AM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good?Here you go idiot http://books.google.ie/books?id=Ld8OBEBoBGcC&pg=PA139&lpg=PA139&dq=shepherd+bliss+toxic+masculinity&source=bl&ots=d6eb-R2piy&sig=qrQ24cuEadaDPOlvT2gsJJOmz80&hl=en&sa=X&ei=vVazU-TzMoLEPOyUgNgN&ved=0CCkQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=shepherd%20bliss%20toxic%20masculinity&f=false | /r/MensRights | 02/07/14 12:49 AM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good? No, men's activists came up with toxic masculinity and deep masculinity, feminists appropriated toxic masculinity and focus mainly on male violence how it affect women. There are lots of mra's that believe toxic masculinity means all masculinity or masculinity is toxic and don't realise that when they are talking about men not asking for help / not being helped and so on, are actually talking about toxic masculinity. | /r/MensRights | 02/07/14 12:44 AM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good?Got a source for any of your statements? The only people who call it toxic are those who either never experienced it, or those who have experienced legitimate abuse from individuals that they have misattributed to masculinity. That's funny, because we are part of a large movement that talks about toxic aspects of masculinity all the time. Men not asking for help and killing themselves, men that need help being laughed at and mocked, male victims not being recognised, for examples. | /r/MensRights | 02/07/14 12:28 AM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good? Its actually originally a men's activist word. There was toxic masculinity - the sort of conditioning the men's movement is against and the only type feminists mention (men up etc) and positive deep masculinity (the type feminists never mention!) | /r/MensRights | 01/07/14 11:53 PM
RAMBO, 80s heroes. Toxic masculinity or good?Rambo would be the epitome of toxic masculinity. Traumatised, keeping it buried, not getting help, manning up ... etc. | /r/MensRights | 01/07/14 11:51 PM
FOX and Friends has Suzanne Venker on to Discuss Mens Rights ConferenceThe conservative media doesn't "care". Its just something they can use and exploit to be in opposition to and to have some drama with the other side, who are also retarded. The american political system is designed to make people as polarized and retarded as possible, and then have them squabble while the rulers rule. | /r/MensRights | 01/07/14 08:08 PM
