Understanding the problems inherent with the institutions of marriage and dating should not blind you to understanding the problems inherent with massive capital accumulation, comrade.

As young lefty on the sub, I have spent the entirety of my life seeing the gains of our society shuffled to a select few while the failures and losses get trickled down. Dot Com bust, 2008, 2020, BP, Panama Papers, etc. The economy we live in has experienced a large degree of wage stagnation and lack of opportunity as capital continues to consolidate and raise the barriers to entry. It is a response to the bullshit that we all complain about everyday. -The rich keep getting richer -Our instituti…

Reading through these comments makes me happy that people are finally starting to hate on this lecherous welfare queen. Those billions came from backdoor dealing and siphoning many from the DOD, not "innovation"

I remember talking to a woman I work with about slacktivism and how it only accelerates the rot of our civilization. She claimed to be very politically active but did not join a party or work with any issues; rather, "informed people about what's happening." As a man who has organized email lists for net neutrality and voter registrations for DSA I was quite triggered.

What don't you get bro? Just get a trade job that will ruin your body by age 40 and have your dad give you a job at your grandpa's company. Fr half of this sub goes into a twisted "man up" mode as soon as anyone talks about careers, education, or money.

This may sound childish but for those looking for a wonderful depiction of a strong female character, Bo Peep in Toy Story 4. Home girl lead a colony of free toys and was a competent member of the team to save Forky. 10/10 character.

While I feel for the guy, I dont think his approaches were organic (i.e. relying on PUA tactics) and lead to his notoriety. We've all dealt with a pushy/ shitty salesman in our time and his story sounds like a dude looking to get that pussy commission. Also even as a large man I'd be a sketched out if some random guy at a bus stop starts chatting me up (what's his scam, does he have a knife, am I gonna end up in the back of a van) so it's understandable that people on campus/ around town may not…

Honestly, I-70 from Denver to Glenwood Canyon is some of the most beautiful driving in the country if you have the time.
