Appreciate the kind words. I honestly like the redpill and mgtow movement. I like the blunt honesty it offers about issues we face. The insight and knowledge that guys share about their experiences, what worked, and what didn't is something I wish I had a lot earlier in life. In no way was my post meant to convey an "I'm right, you're wrong message". Anyway thanks man.

I think you've got some good points. And I think my post is being a bit facetious, and ignoring many other aspects of a complicated subject that is a big part of the overall question of what truly makes us happy. I'll give an example of 2 buddies I work with and myself: Jake: Jake is a bit of a bigger guy, 6'2 in height and kind of muscular but still has a bit of pudge. There were two girls at work that wanted a relationship with Jake. One girl was a low level supervisor (Tish) and the other was…

All the guys I know that get laid a lot in real life have no issues using women to their advantage. The one guy I know who is upfront with women about no commitment does get laid too, just not with good looking women. All the women I got laid with wanted relationships (even when I told them I didn't want a relationship). Although my opinions are just anecdotal based off my own experiences, I've never met a woman that just wanted to get laid. Not trying to invalidate others experiences, but every…

This is sage advice. You should live a life that suits you, not serve others that don't give a flying fuck about you. And being aware how marriage can trap you and ruin your life. Put yourself first.

I guess not everyone wants to be an idealized male from the 1950's that holds a Bible in his right hand and some rosary beads in his left.

It's mainly the Republicans that have a raging boner for enforcing their base's 1950's religious views (on both men and women) mixed with a healthy dose of 'states rights'. Democrats are at least standing by the 'equality' that they preach. However I'm thoroughly convinced neither party seriously cares about issues men face. And either party will strip us of personal rights and make our lives worse, I guess the only real question is which rights will I lose?

Just tell them the truth, this isn't the 1950's my guy. Having a fifties mentality in modern America doesn't work. If the women's movement gave women the ability to take at least half your ass with the stroke of a pen, then she'd better be willing to put up at least that much in a relationship.

If I could go back to my teens and 20's and they had actual realistic humanoid bots that you could have a relationship with, I would take that in a fucking heartbeat. I've had relationships with women, but I've never really enjoyed the amount of effort needed to maintain them on top of not having much in common with most women. Women get approached and chased by men, it doesn't really take much effort on their part so long as they were born half decent looking. I think this is what people like h…

Being brutally honest, feminism makes women useless. There's nothing in this new age deal that benefits men. It just makes women and children astronomically expensive. There's really no defending it. What happens when you jack up the price of something so much that it just isn't feasible? People can't afford it and stop buying it. Think it's just a coincidence that half the population isn't married and the birth rate for the US stands at 1.64 with the highest number of children being born out of…

Well, since women are divorce trigger happy, there isn't really a strong reason to get married. Even if you want kids.

If you go on any feminist sub that's like their whole vibe: " Fuck you dad! You can't tell me what to do!". They are really prideful. And that is what makes them insufferable. Could you imagine trying to put up with someone that is just so utterly full of themselves? Pure nightmare fuel.

u/NohoTwoPointOh is right. Conservatives won't do that because of their religious base, and the blue cities in my home state of Michigan have proven that they won't do it. The unfortunate reality is that the two major political parties basically support a more matriarchal society funded by men. With millennials, gen z, and gen z's (probably even worse than the last two) offspring becoming the dominant voter block in the future I can only assume it's going to get worse and even weirder. Only thin…

Lol. What a fucking joke. I hope these twats have fun buying their own houses because a smaller and smaller share of men are willing to put up with this nonsense. I say, legalize all sex work, end marriage as an institution, and normalize single parenthood. And I've mentioned this in a previous post, if conservatives aren't really supporting men's rights, who do you vote for? why vote for conservatives? What do they have to offer vs. democrats since neither party cares about men's rights?

The only thing I perceive as unequal is family law in the US. Being single, women don't have any rights or special privilege that I don't. So I'll give my take below. And vote for who? Democrats are the more liberal wing, and they are pretty clearly pro women. Republicans are the more conservative wing, but I'm not sure men's treatment in family law is really a concern/priority for them. Not really. The female equivalent would be her wanting to get married to be financially set. So she charms you into thinking she's wife material. Then once things are set, she starts banging the next door neighbor and ex boyfriends while you're at work. And you might get maintenance sex every once in a while.

JP is more of a right wing figure, not that cleaning your room, getting a job, and taking responsibility for yourself are bad things, but there definitely is a rightwing mentality about exactly how men should behave. Not everyone fits the mold. And he, like most of us, is just giving his opinions. Making actual legislation that helps men is what we should be focusing on. Overall, I'd say he's a neutral figure.

A lot of the complaining is in regards to laws, laws that affect men, which I also think is worth discussing with other men, in a men's rights sub. But yes, in real life, I don't care about women. Not really really much of a reason to.

It doesn't have to be your life if you don't want it to be. I never caved into the pressure to get married, women can buy their own houses far as I'm concerned, live up to their equality ideals. If I ever wanted kids, a family lawyer would be the first person I talk to. I think one day in the future men will have more options and be less dependent on women to build families. I really look forward to a future where dealing with women is truly optional.

I see some men marrying and giving everything to their wives, only to face divorce and lose their house, money, and children. Society, including men, thinks that it's okay and that men deserve such outcomes. Yes. That's just how people work. So many of these comments are great. I'd add another take though: what other options are there? For men, the options are be single, use sex workers (may be illegal), get married. If you want a kid without being partnered it's an uphill battle. In the US most women will pressure marriage if they can get it with a guy they want or is at least good enough. And the government encourages marriage as a 'social good' through laws and tax breaks. I sincerely believe that women (and some men) and the gov…

Most dialogue I have with other men about women is joking about women, relationships, and sex. But very, very rarely is a conversation about hating women entirely. More often for negative emotions it's a specific woman that did or said something to make the guy angry, but that goes for everyone, anyone can do or say something to make you dislike them.

Nobody here wants women to die of hunger and violence ffs. Women in the past made it clear that they don't want to be forced financially to be with us. And I'm not sure how you would actually like that in real life anyway. Modern women use the government to pry our wallets open, that part needs to change. Trying to force people to live a certain way is just manipulative and doesn't really work. There are other ways we can get our needs met, and for both sexes.

I disagree. I think the 'mommunes' concept is a positive one. I think we have options, platonic co-parenting, we could also do a 'one kid for me, one kid for you' deal that cancels out child support. I do wholeheartedly believe the government being involved in the way it is, is a major, if not the main root of the problem. The government needs to get out of our personal lives to a large degree, but I guess lawyers gotta make money somewhere.

Probably not. It's something I've been thinking about too, Things are changing. If we look at childrearing as a necessity to maintain a country, then how should we go about it? A cheap pundit would say: 'just get married and have kids. Simple.' But that ignores all the issues that we are currently facing. It's all about risk and reward. Depends on what you really want out of your relationships that would or would not make it worth it. If having kids is important to you then go for it, take the time to date and look for the best partner. To me, the potential downsides of being married and the lack of desire for kids makes married/partnered life a no go for me. And I don't regret it. I wish I could go back and tell my 15 year old self everything that I know now.

As an insult, it's meant to portray a person who can't get what they want from relationships. Stereotypically a guy incel is someone who wants sex but can't get it. Which is why he's is generally angry and agitated. It's meant to be an insult of not being good enough or inept in some fashion. I think the girl version of being an incel is not being able to get the guy they want or get married and have kids.

And it's not because of divorce; today's unpartnered mothers are also more likely to have never been married. Discredits divorce as a motivational factor In the section titled: Where are the dads? One of the biggest issues is that women seem to be giving up on men, particularly those without college degrees. In the same period, more women entered the workforce and their average earnings increased regardless of their education level. This change has stripped many men of their traditional role as …

The 'bad boys' understand women. They tell them what they want to hear, use them for all they can get, then dump them and start over with a new girl.

How so?

In my experience with women, they really do look at men as a means of paying for kids and other stuff. My ex made it unmistakably clear how they view us: 'if you aren't going to marry a girl then just pay her for sex' I have to give her credit because that rational lines up with the behavior I've seen out of them. Also: Child support can be as much as 1k a month for the average guy for one kid, and we don't get a tax break, or any break for that matter. And it's not limited to just money, if you…

I say fully decriminalize sex work.

I've already gone my own way. I'm financially independent with my own house and car. There's really nothing stopping us from doing so, and not having a wife and kids is significantly easier and cheaper. My friend at work owns his own house and got a guy roomie when his girl left to split costs with. The only thing they could do for us is decriminalize sex work fully. There just isn't really any incentive for men to play the game unless you really want kids.

I'm not shedding tears over it. They wanted it, they can have it. Sooner or later society will have to accommodate or implode from a demographic crisis.

I think it's just the future. Men just don't have much incentive to be involved in family life unless they really want kids or are ignorant to the real world consequences. And I don't think we should really be expected to either.

I feel like if feminists were actually true to their message they would have formed superior all female communes and embraced lesbianism. Naturally their superior ways would spread and overtake the dysfunctional patriarchal system, rooting out all forms of toxic masculinity and setting the feminine heiress atop her golden throne where she rightfully belongs. Sadly, I have yet to see this happen.
