Well you can't exactly call it an obvious lie if you don't have the transcript. She could have backed it with evidence (I am not excusing her actions, I think she's guilty).

I wasn't saying it should be enough of a punishment, I was just pointing out that just because they aren't punished criminally doesn't mean they aren't punished socially. I think you must have misunderstood me. I do believe that women should receive fair treatment in a court of law when charged with these crimes. Just let me emphasize the word fair. My freshman year of high school (I'm a junior now), I had a biology teacher that everyone typically either loved or hated.
