Just curious -- have future waxes down there been easier than that first one?

It would be totally worth it to put it out there that you're looking for a red-pilled woman. RPW won't be at all offended...the women who would be are the ones you don't want to waste your time with anyway. Another thought, I don't know your political affiliations or if you like campaigning -- but I think you'd meet mostly RPW if you got involved with campaigning for the President in the next election. Additionally, you might look into any groups for young conservatives in your area, such as on …

I am grateful, as a 55-year-old widowed (for three years) mother of two, to be sharing a home with a male roommate...it's a real pleasure to sit out on the porch with this man in the evenings and hear his perspectives on life. I feel very blessed that he's not at all a feminist. I'm also very grateful that during the months since we learned that my younger daughter, aged 14, was prediabetic, the dietary and activity changes we've made have indirectly caused me to shed a lot of weight without eve…

And what was the total cost, if you don't mind my asking?

After that, there’s no way in hell I’d ever give a girl a compliment or say anything nice. There’s literally no point other than long term for slight comfort. There's truth to this, up to a point. Up till recently, I'd never realized how much more value a man's compliment has when he's not a complimenter and only gives half-assed compliments. Reminds me of this scene in "This Is 40" where Jason, a personal trainer, gets Desi by telling her she's a 6 1/2 but he could make her an 11, and adds in t…

Oh wow! This is just mind-blowing. Wish I'd known about the idea of "holding space with my feminine power to re-inspire his purpose" when my late husband was still living. Endeavoring now to prayerfully hold space for the masculine energy that is hopefully in my future.

I love the analogy of woman as the electricity and man as the machine -- the one up-front as she quietly transmits the power he needs.

I loved that article, too! And it reminded me that there's also plenty of oxygen and renewal to go around to those of us whose past choices may be sending up red flags to others. I also like what g_e_m_anscombe said about focusing on people's present and not their past.

I'll have to update you if/when I try it. Like I said, since I had good results using it on my hair on my upper, inner thighs which is one and the same kind as the pubic hair, I wondered if it might work well in spite of what it says on the box. Just did my leg/underarm waxing on Monday, and am thinking I'll make waxing an every two-week thing, so maybe Monday after this coming one I'll try it out with the pubes. Maybe trim them a little first. I don't know though. I'm not in a relationship now …

Meaning you are both Christians? Well then, if he's claiming to be a Christian man, I think HE'D be the one needing to explain if he wanted to do things contra-Biblically -- NOT you, as you've already made your religious stance clear on the app.

So you have used the Veet for pubes? The only types I could find say not for use on perianal area. Were you able to find a different version? Or did the one I'm talking about work okay even though they said not to?

Thank you for all this great advice! Glad I didn't rush into anything. For now, I think I'll just leave my public area alone and if I'm ultimately in a relationship with a man who prefers no pubic hair, I'll just let it be the one area I shave, and probably be doing it on a daily basis.

Yes, a relationship should be carefully considered. And I'd never have agreed to share a home with him if there were any question of him being a pedophile -- or in this case, underage teen girl-o-phile. One thing that appeals to me, in addition to the physical attraction that I feel, is that my brother, whom I think a lot of, has been such good friends with him for such a very long time. So he was able to attest that this man has no anger issues (something we dealt with with my late husband, tha…

I should clarify that I cook for US -- for my daughter and myself (and older daughter, too, when she's back visiting from college) -- and, as has been my usual practice, I cook large quantities that we eat out of for a couple days or so, and he's always welcome to eat, too. He will usually have a helping of whatever I fix -- sometimes more, sometimes less -- but I don't cook anything with the assumption that he'll be eating any. As far as the bringing him coffee stuff, I just enjoy waiting on fo…

I wouldn't be thrilled -- but as I wouldn't become sexually involved with him without a commitment, it wouldn't be as hurtful as it would be if he were cheating on me.

LOL, yes, being a mom helps me stay more sensible and know I need to avoid jumping into anything stupid.

Thank you! She's been amazingly a great sport about giving up pop and limiting sweets, and has always drunk a ton of water; it's her favorite drink. We were doing so great with our walking routine before moving a few months ago and being in transition at my brother's for a while before getting into our new home...then a couple weeks ago, I'd made up my mind to get her back out there walking with me, at which point her seasonal allergies got her coughing badly and I let it go again. Like I said, …

Yes, I completely agree with you about the wisdom of the universe! I don't see anything as random anymore -- and I also agree with you about not becoming attached to defining the meaning of this particular man coming into my life at this particular time. Maybe the universe just has him here for a season, to keep me on my self-improvement "toes," so to speak. Life is more interesting just simply because a man is here; I work from home so often go days without leaving the house, and knowing he'll …

55-year-old widowed mother of two here, and recently realized that one friend from high school who was the "chubby" one of our group -- though not really as chubby as we'd thought because she was under 5' tall so every extra lb. just really showed up -- is now in awesome shape and looking much better than the rest of us. She accepted early on that she had to exercise self-control in her eating, and now is quite slim and trim as a mother of four in her 50s. I, in contrast, was the tall, skinny on…

That makes a lot of sense -- that he may have been protecting himself from getting used to an arrangement that ended up being temporary. And from what I know thus far of his serious relationships, he was never the one who ended them. So he's experienced a degree of rejection that I haven't, as the one man I've been intimate with didn't leave me by choice. What's interesting is that I don't believe he's spent any time in the manosphere, but he seems so red pill in his way of relating to women wit…

Yes, he's already raised his children and is a grandfather; he likes young women for their looks, and as far as maturity goes, some younger women are more mature than some older ones. So I think from a man's perspective, maturity and inner beauty can offset aging looks, but sometimes that maturity and inner beauty can come in a young package (with little to no baggage) and be completely absent from an older one. Therefore most men are open to dating a much younger woman, and many are also open t…

PS, I don't mean to give the impression that he chases hot short relationships. He's told me that he could never do a one-night stand. He always has to get to know a woman by talking with her for at least a month before he's willing to move to something sexual, so it has to be about more than just the sex for him; he has to really like the woman. But he did describe one past relationship where the woman would just come over for sex and leave immediately afterwards, and that was fine with him.

It actually makes me happy to take care of people and see them enjoy my cooking -- no strings attached. If he ever brings in a girlfriend, I'll feel sad that he didn't pick me but I'll just keep working on myself and praying for the right man. It's just in my nature that when people come over, I check if they want a cup of coffee and/or offer whatever food/snacks we have, so I'd do the same for the girlfriend. It's also in my nature that when I'm fixing something for myself and my children, I ch…

Thank you! Yes, I think our living situation as well as his close friendship with my brother would be big considerations for him, in the event that he's even considering, that is.

Thank you for the encouragement! Regarding underestimating myself, there was a long time when I'd have assumed that because I was making an effort, losing weight and so on, a man was a shallow asshole if he didn't notice me in the way I wanted to be noticed. Taking the Red Pill and looking at myself more realistically, as well as at the multitude of options open to a man in my age-group, has been very humbling, and I think in a good way. If a good man decides I'm worth forgoing all the fun he co…
