2	Femininity without consumerism Ehhh, that may be your answer but it doesn't fit for me. I always envisioned femininity and masculinity as yinyang. Complementary yet conflicting. Your model gives masculinity a higher ground than femininity. It's just depressing to see girls acting "feminine" by purchasing things and services.Think of the typical girls day out, manis and pedis, massages, shopping.
