Labor unions protect everyone and men were not the only ones who fought for workers rights. Female workers were just as important in the labor strikes. That being said, a march for womens rights on womens day is a perfect moment to take off work and go out to support the cause. You should tell your boss first though, otherwise you might get fired and redirect blame for your actions toward something that just doesnt exist.
