because the question was not how trans folk feel about the service its how would the service treat them. Starbuxed's comment is completely irrelevant.

No sympathy. There are a lot of people with a lot of issues and they find ways to deal or not deal with them and they don't kill people.

Step 1: make a list of people you are willing to take shit from. Next time someone gives you shit, take a moment, consult the list, and if they are not on it tell them to fuck off.

As much as I care about and advocate for the rights of men, I find the constant put down of the PUA community kind of annoying. Feminists are always trying to get allies and stuff and here we have a group that is for the most part male and we just berate them. It's kind of petty.

Yeah but see all those numbers, that's just the patriarchy at work. If these guys all took a day off we wouldn't be fucked, we'd be one step closer to smashing the patriarchy.

The piece didn't really do anything for me. It pointed out that there are extremists in the movement which should come as a surprise to no one. made some points that we (those who follow and participate in MR discussions and issues) already know and finally came to a "Let's all get along conclusion." In a way in undercuts the MRM because to someone already indoctrinated in a feminist world view, which unfortunately is a vast majority, it just discounts our stance with a "oh well they have some g…

Only disappointing ones. One person I talked to chalked all my points (stats included) up to "someone's opinion on the internet." Someone else stated that they thought stats that pertain to female on male DV were exaggerated. Essentially everyone I have talked just doesn't believe that these issues exist. It's a very small sample size though. For all of feminism's talk of cultural hegemonies it has become hegemonic itself.

You made a sweeping generalization in your first post about entire communities and now you go back on it and say that your talking about a specific type of feminist or theist, what you call a dogmatist, which you made no indication of in the first post. Instead of replying in the most condescending tone possible try thinking through what you post instead.

I'm not for it but taking a women's studies class in university is what drove me towards Men's Rights. Still if they're going to call it gender studies it should be just that: gender studies, not some thinly veiled attempt to force feminism on people.

Then she goes on in the article and insinuates that females don't rape males. "You may see things that are really messed up, and it'll be a real struggle to know what to do. It could be what a guy is doing to another guy, what a guy is doing to a girl, or a girl is doing to a girl. It could be at school, in the locker room, at a party, or in someone's house." Absolutely ridiculous.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
