This right here should be the end of the thread. Too many people misinterpret TRP as simply a strategy book of getting laid. It’s not. It’s about how to let go of your insecurities and improving yourself. You do you, but don’t fall behind.

I’m not so desperate for sex that I’m gonna lower my standards. I’ve got better shit to do than put excessive energy towards trying to get laid.

Think of some jokes. It sounds like they only have a few jokes on you so anticipate the script and think of some witty comebacks. If you can look like you take a joke in stride then they’ll stop doing it. I imagine they continue to do it because you either clam up or they get some kind of reaction out of you, so learn how to react in a way that won’t satisfy them or flip it on them.

Pull-ups are best done with your knees straight and hips at ~20degrees of flexion so your feet are roughly beneath your hands/head. It’s to activate your core while doing them and isolates the lats because you aren’t using any momentum to get up.

Love that you understand the importance of honesty, but at the same time not telling the whole truth sometimes to not be a dick. Good post on how to be a decent human being.

A couple people have disagreed with this post, a few good reasons and an equal amount of stupid reasons. Making an insane and arbitrary rep count of 1000 push-ups is ridiculous. Exercise is meant to be challenging, yes, but gradual increases and not those mentioned in the post, where your gym closes so you do 1000 of anything. You will injure yourself, by repetitive strain/overuse. Just meditate, run, and body weight (within reason) resistance. Gym’s closed for 3 days, it’s not the end of the wo…

Yeah I think it’s a double standard. But also, why should you care what I think? You do you, and if you’re able to find girls that know what you’re about, don’t beat around the bush if they ask what your body count is and how many you’re currently “dating”. More power to you if you get girls to agree to that. But also remember that girls can be crazy and they’ll flip on you even if they’ve previously agreed to be ok with you being polygamous.

This should be in asktrp. This is mostly a circle jerk, and everyone else commenting is stating the obvious that “zero days” aren’t for anyone who’s already built power. I’m spending 10 hours a day in the clinic, 2 hours a day driving to and from said clinic, and an hour at the end of the day for documentation/homework. I’m taking my zero days this weekend without regret so I don’t end up killing myself over burn out.

I actually had a similar thing going, but I wasn’t fully redpilled yet. I met a girl thru a mutual friend and he told me he heard a rumor she was an escort. Took her out to lunch first date. 2nd week fucked and lost my vCard, she took me out to dinner more than I did her, then she got drunk and told me what’s up, escort... a high level google personnel and 1 other dude (but who tf knows) and that she loved me. I always turned a blind eye until she confirmed and I noped out real fast. Sometimes I…

This post should be in the sidebar. Anyone who’s just starting in TRP needs to read this so they can learn what not to do. Idk since I’m past it, but I have a feeling that anyone just starting out and is in the anger phase should read this post so they can begin working on themselves, and not just simply “hit the gym” kind of advice. Building confidence and mental awareness to yourself and the social hierarchy, and as you explained like a chess game, will help others develop and understanding of…

If you actually want to exercise your heart you need to go for endurance instead of intensity because your cardiac muscle is basically the same as type 1 fibers because their energy source is exclusively oxygen, which takes longer to use since it’s ATP yield is roughly a 1:32 ratio.

If you allow yourself to slouch when running that’s just poor form. If you’re running and start to slap your heels on the ground and slouch your back then take a rest. You’re supposed to bounce off the ball of your foot, swing with your arms and run with an upright spine.

You don’t build (larger) muscles either way whether it’s running distance or HIIT because you’re not pushing a heavy load. A heavy load is required to recruit type 2 (a&x) motor units of the muscles, and if you never reach the weight threshold to activate them they don’t get the benefits.

I think about that kid that got dragged into a pond by a croc/gator/whatever at Disneyland. If I were in the fathers shoes I’d jump up no hesitation and chase that fucking thing and drag it back out by its god damn tail. That’s the mentality of punching the fucking shark. Walk around ready to act.

There’s a reason that when I call my doctor for advice on a prescription and I’m forwarded to the NP. It’s because doctors are overqualified, and if you study in the medical field you know that a lot of time spent in the education system is wasted on at least a full semester or two on bullshit ethics classes and sensitivity training. Most of my textbooks have so many gaps in important info I end up going to Wikipedia, it’s not that complex. I don’t think you realize, it is a thousand times more …

Thank you, none taken, but I’d argue that every one is different. If you meet her you’d understand her level of intelligence. She’s got her DNP and is infinitely smarter than I am, not to say I’m special, but I’m at least above average because I’m halfway done with a DPT. Most of the disparity comes from a stigma of nurses being women and women being too agreeable, leading to being ordered around, but I’ve got a ton of respect for her because of how intimidating she can be when she wants to, and…

You don’t graduate from a nursing program if you don’t have a 3.0 gpa minimum (most have higher requirements). There are no D+ nurses, they literally don’t exist. Usually if you even get a C in a single course you’re put on academic probation and immediately dismissed for a second C. If you graduated from an accredited nursing program and passed the licensing exam, you are a fully qualified Registered Nurse(RN). My cousin is a Nurse Practitioner which is top of the heirarchy of all nurses, and N…

I’m wondering what my other options of making income are other than “get a 401k forehead”. I lost my job in a restaurant. Before any of you say reach higher than a restaurant job, I’m studying physical therapy at the doctorate level, so I’m on my way. It’s important to know where you come from because personal psychology and events play into our interpersonal interactions all the time on a subconscious level, and I’d like to aim this towards anyone commenting “stfu just lift read eat”. Mindfulness and self awareness gives you a another perspective of the world and yourself. And the more alternative perspectives you have the more well-rounded you can become. It’s been mentioned before in a “game theory” post about how newer younger girls that …

The other day I was at the grocery store checking out, and I noticed the cashier’s name tag and thought it sounded pretty. That’s it. I didn’t find her particularly attractive and I had no intention of ever seeing her again. I would like to say I gave her a genuine compliment and went on my merry way, but I chickened out because I’m still learning to grow a spine. But that kind of interaction is how you can learn to start a genuine conversation.

For the record, don’t rub your dog’s nose in a puddle of urine or shit. A loud and stern “NO!” will get the point across. Dogs want to please the master and if you let them know they fucked up they’ll avoid that behavior.

Men love emotionally, and women love physically. That gets tossed around this sub enough to know it by heart. So if a man cheats on his wife, he does not still love her, or was never emotionally involved to begin with. Also, everyone in RP knows the risks involved with getting married, if he chose to commit then he better have the sack to stay faithful like he promised he would. Especially when you've got a kid on the way, you don't fuck around and you don't imply dread in the slightest, it will…

Your friend sounds like a cunt. Idc what his status is, if you enter a marriage and promise to be faithful, but go and cheat like that, then you’re no better than the common slut.

I don’t play guitar for anyone though, my parents sometimes but everything I accomplish in music is for me. My end goal with guitar is to play the songs I listen to and that’s it.

Just like every other substance that can be abused without proper moderation. Video games aren’t objectively bad, it’s not being able to make yourself a rounded person because it’s the only thing you do is what’s bad. If I sat in my room playing guitar 6 hours a day I’d say that’s bad as well. It’s socially isolating, no real-world accomplishment accept for my own pleasure, etc. I play video games, I practice guitar, I go to the gym, I study for my classes, and I hang out with friends when I hav…

Thank you, I do understand what you're saying. I get a lot of flak around my house because I have a liberal bias, and I wanted to get input from someone other than my family on whether I'm justified or not. I see now that I'm thinking emotionally, and that's contradicting RP logic. I'm also not scornful towards my dad, but he has an inflated idea of how "hard" he worked, because the economy he grew up in allowed him to buy a house at 22 yo. Willpower, self-reliance, discipline, and perseverance all fall under the umbrella of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps”, which I currently believe is not all you need to become successful, you need to be lucky and in the right place at the right time. My dad is an example, he’s rich af right now because he worked unskilled labor in a Proctor&Gamble warehouse back in the mid 70’s and bought stock with part of each paycheck. He has over $900,000 in that stock alone through no special skill …

Check out my comment and post your thoughts, say something constructive, do you have any personal experience with addiction? Is all the blame on the person for trying it? Have you ever felt peer pressure? Or should the weak die off? Would you be where you currently are without the help of the TRP community? Does everyone deserve a little bit of help? I know I would not be where I am, a successful confident person who can go my own way without TRP helping me get started on my new life. I used to …

Idk I enjoy drugs from time to time. If you’re talking about those with a debilitating addiction then I get what you mean.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/19 02:47 PM

That’s something else I forgot to add, we all have equal opportunity because I’m sure even in Canada the public schools have drug education like I did in the US. They should’ve known how dangerous these drugs can be. I feel differently towards alcohol because it is legal and the social attitude towards it is so much different from heroin or meth.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/19 02:41 PM

I’m kind of split on the argument for “safe drug spaces”, because on one hand there are people that genuinely need the help getting out of the hole that is addiction and really want to better themselves, and this can give them a resource and first step. One the other hand there are people that will abuse the resource and stagnate in the setting, continually doing the drug with no intention of moving on. I know the importance of having resources and a support system to get out of addiction, both …

You can provide for people without being taken advantage of and being used. It’s a matter of having the confidence to recognize it and nip it in the bud. Because the only way to have real and satisfying relationships is having an equal amount of give and take. If you only take then you’ll be seen as a user, like some chick constantly getting free drinks. When my roommates and I go out to the bar, one of them gets first round. I get second round because I love these guys like my brothers and want…

Very true, I recall I said some cringe shit to a woman at a show last time I took molly, but in the moment the key is to know that you shouldn’t give a fuck about what you say. If you regret it though, you can always use the plausible deniability that everyone has regrets and says things that are weird. For those people that do take molly, a common side effect most have experienced is the dread when you know the day is about to end and you’ll lose the power. You’ll know that the power is inside …

Personally I’d prefer to take molly or x when trying to have a therapeutic experience like this because of the inhibition loss. LSD can make someone a little too impressionable and you can be steered in a situation like this. LSD and a trip to the club should be reserved for someone who understands themself and has a strong will already.
