Have you been searching for bigger of smaller firms? I can imagine smaller firms might be more appreciative for some free labor. And have you tried cold approaching? Using your network?

I don't know where you bartend but make damn sure you protect your ears. Specially the clubs where the music is blasting away. Solid advice none the less.

I don't get why people want to defer responsibility, even if it is to a woman. These days it's more of the norm to shift responsibility instead of owning up to it. My guess is that it makes them feel good.

I'd say that it isn't that obvious. No a one on one relation with this topic but interesting nevertheless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yGN8SlIEZ8

I'd rather have a first mate compared to a strong independent womyn who need no man. I'd rather have a woman who knows her worth not by spreading her legs numerous times.

Then the idea I get from the internet (of course) is not that commitment is key but the allowance to bang whatever comes in your way. I'd say the complete opposite of commitment is happening, higher divorce rates comes to mind.

Would you consider America a feminist society? If not, which one would qualify?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/17 02:19 PM
2

Even people who lived in more masculine societies seem to want to come to more feminine societies (for example how all of the refugees and illegal immigrants want to go to Germany and Sweden) I'd say they are coming due to money. If you asked the people if they preferred to live in a society that is competitive and militaristic (masculine) or empathetic and soft (feminine), most would choose the latter. What you would want does not compare to what others would want. Completely basseless assertio…

Problem is, from what I see in this thread, you counter everything with personal anecdotes. Compared to scientific studies, assuming decent ones, your anecdotes fall into the water. Just because you do not, does not mean others don't.

Although I understand your reasoning and I'd like to pay if that gives me a good date with a good woman and a serious prospect for a relationship. However, these days chances are too high of me becoming a meal ticket instead of it becoming a relationship. So before I consider paying I'd expect the woman to make it very clear it's not just a free meal but an attempt to see where we stand. How do you convey that message to potention suitors or did everyone just pay anyway?

Constantly checking your phone. No matter the situation I see woman checking their phone. During conversation, during a five second wait, during dinner. I'm starting to find it increasingly disrespectful.

It's interesting as I've heard that a very small percentage in the UK calls herself feminist. I've heard Milo say it so I don't know the validity of it but still.

When I read this I remember the story from the TRP's sidebar about a husband who had/s a wive that fucked around in college but didn't want to do any of those things with him. This is what I hear when I read this story when you go from one side to the other.

Yes, but I make a ''lot'' of money/have always had the potential to make a lot of money. Like attracts like. Isn't this exactly what that dude is arguing for as that, seems to me, be the exact idea of hypergamy. (In b4 but women thrive on drama: clearly they don't, because they're dying earlier than their single counterparts, likely as a result of stress, and have more health issues. Can't hamster away those earlier death stats). Dying of something does not mean you don't enjoy it or thrive for …

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/17 02:22 PM

Turns out that person isnt hyperboling haha. But do you know how much better height to waist ratio is compared to the current BMI? As weight doesn't seem to be involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/17 08:15 AM
1

Ah now I understand. Your argument is completely based on what you think and not wat research suggests.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/17 08:14 AM
2

There are different weights linked to BMI. 12% is classified as healthy obese and only 6% as skinny fat for men. Comparable numbers for women. The article says 31% is wrongly classified (about 15% when split on sekse). Meaning 69% of the total is (meaning 85% of a given sekse is) correct. Making BMI an adequate indicator for ones weight to height ratio. Not a good one but not a nonsense one neither.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/17 10:58 PM
2

What we gravitate towards has no meaning as compared to a healthy weight. A healthy weight is what we ought to aspire to for feeling well and a proper functioning body. As your gravitating, humans gravitate towards the weight corresponding to our environment. Hence why way to many Americans are fat as fuck and Africans mostly aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/17 10:07 PM
2

We are talking about healthy, not ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/17 09:54 PM
3

I really don't understand your argument. The range of healthy weight ranges between a BMI of 18 and 24.9. Exactly in the range you are stating.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/17 09:51 PM
3

A healthy weight ranges between 108-144 pounds with a corresponding BMI of 18.5-24.9 for women. You're making a case of two extremes: either an athlete (low weight) or women with (very) big tits (e.g. more weight). If those are the two extremes, the average will fall between those two. E.g. between a BMI of 21 and 25. Or 18,5 as that is the low end of BMI. So I'd say that a BMI of 25 for women is not normal but rather on the high end of normal. Edit: you are aware that men and women have differe…

I don't know. Of course I had my self-esteem issues in the past. And I don't think I resent the people when they talk too much but rather that I think that they talk bullshit when they talk about day-to-day stuff. But then again, the first part, the uninteresting part, that might be true. I'm assuming that both things you suggested might be involved but I doubt that they play that big a role (but a role nonetheless).

Interesting. I'm quite the opposite and never understood why some people don't just shut the fuck up. It's getting on my nerve actually. It's becoming annoying, as if I care what happened yesterday, and the day before that or the day before that or a year before that. Do you have any idea why you need to speak? Because up until now I haven't decided why I don't.

I always considered monk mode as the focus being on you, not others. By not going after woman and keeping socialising on a meaningful level (e.g. go out for diner but not clubbing or converse with friends with no or a mimimum of drugs or network). It's good you made the realisation that you should be focussing on you and that being social is a big part of it.

Drop it man. I'm currently seeing a friend of mine whirl down. He has always been quite the heavy drinking which increased to weekly going bad shit drunk. /r/MensRights13/01/17 12:25 PM

I'm offering it as an explanation of why men increase in happiness as it is not directly linked to feminism. As, for women, it seemingly is.
/r/MensRights13/01/17 12:24 PM

"Other areas in which men emerged as happier than the opposite sex were career prospects, 'how other people see you', finances and job security." "Sometimes I get jealous of his freedom," admits the 25-year-old public relations coordinator from Vancouver. "He just doesn't get stressed, ever, really. I'm more uptight. I worry about a lot of things." "I'm not usually snarky," she says ruefully. "I realized later I was jealous or hostile or bitter that he didn't have to work and I did."

No wonder women are crying over the chores being to much and all.

Stating that the average * person * is weaker, is an argument I never understood. If you are weaker, you should bear the responsibility of not provoking the stronger one. For obvious reasons. Just because you are a woman should not excempt you for that. Instead, the woman should think long and hard whether the provoking is worth it.

Someone in another thread mentioned this once. I'm paraphrasing/iteratin from memory here: I want a girl who has tested the waters, as in a or some LTR's, ONS and/or FWB but decided that LTR are her thing. I agree, although the ONS aren't needed on my part.

Regarding the latter point and your comments in this thread, I find a lot of matching points between you and I. Might not be the same mechanics behind our behavior but my take on it is as follows: respond with as few words as possible. I mostly go for the equivalent of 'oke' with a vibe of complete uninterest in what she thinks about my expression.
/r/becomeaman11/12/16 08:25 PM

If you forget it, is it worth telling him (or someone else) about it? I'm asking because I'm opting for the opposite of what you are doing after I answered that question myself. I no longer ask how one is doing until I speak to him/her in person or through the phone.

And again, I agree. But I'm talking about the backlash one gets when he says that n-count = x is where he draws the line and that vice versa this thread shows that it ought to be oke. To clarify, I agree that people should look for people with their standards. But don't make those that have some standard part of a laughing stock.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/16 06:20 PM
1

Funny, based on this women are actually more put off with it compared to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/16 06:15 PM
1

No I don't blame them, if I had similar views I'd do so as well. However, it is deemed pathetic/insecure/etc when a man holds a women to a n-count standard (however arbitrarily). But vice versa it should be praised that a woman can fuck whomever, whatever whenever she wants and expect a man to be oke with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/16 06:10 PM
1

I agree. But we shouldn't act as if actions have no consequences. When you say one should do what she wants to do, it sounds as if you mean that others should accept that and still be happy to (e.g.) date you. But overall, I'm pretty sure we are on the same page.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/16 06:06 PM

Still, even with that close a margin, either she is terrible or he is not 'that' bad. I think that another candidate would've been able to blow him out of the water.

Don't expect it to be on the market on 2018. This assumes no setbacks, both on the research and societal side. In or after 2020 seems like a more realistic bet. Assuming it works on men that is.

It wasn't due to too many men dropping out, it was because the effectiveness does not outweigh the side effects and two outside commission ended up stopping the trial so it can be reformulated. Overall 75% were still willing to continue the injections.

I'm interested in your stance on promiscuity. I've never been the kind of man who sleeps around. However thus far I've not been able to rationalise it or give it, in my ears, proper arguments for this stance (except for the 'feeling' kind). So I am curious, where did you do your reading or what are, in bulletpoints, your arguments against promiscuity?

Neither does the way around. Not because you deem it worthy.

A person who gains x amount of lbs/kg until he gets obese, loses that x amount of kg/lbs and gains that back again, he knows how to eat? And now repeat for every diet that person really tries.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/16 08:34 AM

How is this relevant?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/16 08:29 AM

If you manage to gain weight, lose weight and gain it back you don't know how to eat.

Ah, how motivated one is. The same argument every highly obese persons says or claims that he is while he stuffs a large pizza in his mouth, followed by a muffin, a large coke and a pint of B&J as dessert. The same argument very thin persons use but in only eat one bit of food every day claiming that they are trying all that they can. The same goes for smokers who try all the time but end up smoking a pack of cigs anyway. There comes a point where the bullshitting has to stop and say you are eit…

95% doesnt know how to eat. They do some crash diet and fall back into their habits thinking they are somehow cured. That's nothing to do with not being able to lose or gain weight, because as you said, they actually did lose weight, they just couldn't stick with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/16 08:13 AM

Eat a large pizza drenched with olive oil everyday. Eat it no matter what and then come back to me.

Body composition gets even more complex than that. You cannot make yourself have an hourglass figure if you're a woman and yet men tend to sexually select for those. You can however, drop to an acceptable fat percentage.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/16 07:11 AM

Don't bother. People who claim they can't gain or lose weight will never believe you.

I like talking to women but now that I think of it, there isn't really one, besides the obvious family members, that I believe I will 'miss' when they are out of the picture. I think value is to strong a word. I enjoy the company but that's about it.

You and I have very different standards of 'ripped'. A man does not get ripped without any kind of work out. You testosterone is an enabler not some magic goo that makes your body grow.

So, the general concensus here is that yes, it is a dealbreaker. Now I have a follow-up question on this: is this comparable to the point men make when they believe women have had to many sexual encounters?

You'd be surprised how much it can help. During midday I'd often see two adult men lifting. I somehow thought that they didn't do much all day because they were in the gym and thus didn't pay them much attention. After training we started talking and that's when I learned that they got their shit together and thus are able to lift during the day. They gave some useful tips and also added they were looking for programmer(s). Were I proficient in that, I could've joined them right away. In any cas…

https://www.utopolis.nl/nl/movies/1393. You'll notice 3 cities where it plays. It should be 4-5 cities (which includes mine) as seen in the following link with ice age for example (http://www.utopolis.nl/nl/movies/1337). The cities that do play ghostbusters only have 1 showing each day where it is normal for a new (successful) movie to play 3-4 times a day for a couple of weeks. Like Tarzan, currently in week 3 and still playing 2-4 times a day depending on the theater (http://www.utopolis.nl/nl…
