I paid 50 bucks on average from memory - what you pay for a few drinks at the bar... So it's nothing in terms of value!

It's all about going at your own pace, many of us have to overcome lots of really nasty shit to get to the top... Well done!!

It can be a huge help!! I've done it a few times and loved it because there's zero pressure (no one be rude), you get to talk to 10 girls in a night and you get to feel normal because none of the girls you meet at speed dating are freaks! Highly recommended

I don't know, man, maybe the jokes are kind of wrong? I don't like feeling disrespected with my friends, that's why some people aren't my friends anymore!

Being attractive and charming always helps! It doesn't matter what you say then

What helped me was mixing it up with people from completely different groups. I did a few short courses (playwriting etc) and started hanging out with completely different people from all walks of life, made some long term friends too... It's just an experiment and not intimidating at all, even if it's not a huge interest, try something, you might like it and you'll meet people you might connect with more. Give it a go!

For me, it was knowing that I'll never meet anyone otherwise. I wish it was more sophisticated than that, but there it is, in a sentence...

Not trying to rush it has helped me a lot. Just taking it nice and slow... Honestly, it changes things in a big way!

So right - it seems obvious, yet most of us don't think about it that way! Missed opportunities we will never get back...

I would talk to a few people about going for a drink afterwards. That includes the girl you like. This way you can talk to her in a different context and hang out and meet other people too and just socialize. I like it because there's no pressure at all!

I think that going to a class together is an advantage because it's a commonality so it's very natural to start a conversation and it's easy to change the atmosphere if you invite a bunch of people for a drink afterwards. That way you can talk to her first in a different context without pressure and hang out and meet other folks too! It's easier to take it slow so you don't need to put your ass on the line

Totally agree, the moment happens when you create it - what helped me is seeing an attractive girl, saying "NOW" as a command to myself, coming up to her saying Hey and then letting things happen.

I remember looking around my first class at uni and seeing guys only... So yeah, not spending enough time around women!!

Respect!! I could never approach a girl on the street, always needed some sort of commonality of circumstances to be there... It's all in your head, right

Good on you! I agree that some of these places to meet women are common sense - but it's not common practice. For the longest time I kept hearing about it, but it took a long time for me to actually pull myself together and starting acting on it in real life!

Being relaxed and having a good time is more important than a practiced smile...

If she's putting her legs on you, might as well go for sex while you're at it!

Spending time on my own. I guess that can apply to all you guys that are into gym or similar... That's what's important in my opinion - not getting yourself distracted with meaningless shit, but learning how to focus and do things on your own, at your own pace. That's attractive as hell. (Or so I'm told)

What helped me the most is spending more time alone. Try to create new routines where you'd regularly do stuff on your own - go for walks, running, work on a project or hobby...

Nobody is going to grill you on your story. Just hang back, be friendly, ask lots of questions!

It's weird that we dream about getting hit on by women, but freak out when it happens... Same thing here, it threw me off time and time again, like, are you talking to me? Or if the girl was really into me after I started talking to her, I pretty much ran away! Silly, I know...

Maybe put up an ad for a band yourself? Another great thing is to go open mic nights if you have them in your area - you can meet people that way too!

Best thing not to wait for it - you just build it up into something it's not... I know it's hard, but if you try to just to come up to a girl without thinking and start talking to her, you'll be a lot more comfortable! You can start to do that with girls you don't find attractive and even guys - it's just a skill like anything else!!

First and foremost you need to be in a good place to attract women, specially the ones that have it together. That means being excited, having fun, having lots on. To get that, it'd be great if you found things you're really interested in or might try and try to meet people to hang out with that way. If you're enjoying it, you've got more time filled with things you like and you've got stories to tell too!

Knowing that I'm in charge - not circumstances, no luck, not fate... Me.

Have you tried porn? But seriously, if you haven't been getting a lot of action anyway, maybe staying off for a while, on purpose, would be a good thing!! It worked for me - you're not coming off desperate, you just don't care and it falls into place.

If you say to yourself that you don't want any relationships at all for a fixed length of time (say, three months) and only concentrate on getting comfortable talking to girls and being around them, that should help - you'll stop overthinking and second guessing yourself!

Anywhere with lots of backpackers around - big cities like Barcelona, Rome or Paris. Do a little bit of research on best places to stay at, but the key is to meet lots of new people and it can a bit intimidating at the start when you don't know anyone, but it's all fair game once you get into it!

Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula Le Guin - it's one of the best fantasy books ever with an unbelievable journey of self discovery!!

"Get of your But" by Sean Stephenson - if this guy can kill it... Truly inspirational!!
/r/seduction21/04/16 05:54 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
