These guys are the reason computer engineering exists.

It’s hyperbole. But I don’t think it’s simple. What I do think it is is a mix of poverty and overeating. Edit: I wasn’t even being hyperbolic in retrospect. I have been skinny (125 pounds) and never worked my entire life, so when I see things like 75% of people are overweight, it doesn’t make sense to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/23 01:55 AM

I genuinely don't understand how people can be overweight.

I'm not attractive at all, but even I knew that if I wanted a girlfriend if I kept asking eventually I would get one because it has worked before.

That's not a winner loser dynamic, economics are merely stories we tell ourselves. Society is becoming more stratified, but what everyone seems to forget is in that part of stratification, everyone's material needs fail to become addressed in some way.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 08:59 PM
2

That's not the purpose of 'capitalism' at least not the way Marx, who defined the term, said. Where did you get the notion of the 'winner/loser dynamic'? When most people talk about capitalism they are talking about the prevalence of the oil industry/fossil fuels. Certainly not in a good way, and certainly not in a 'winner/loser dynamic'.

If the robot can provide a better service than actual human beings, then yes the opposing gender will be replaced.

Very astute observation, to say the dating crisis isn't political is as naive as saying art isn't political.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/23 05:22 PM

Honestly, the real reason is because Marxism is true. I used to be the most libertarian person until I connected the dots climate change, gender roles, wealth inequality, and how that pertains to the dating crisis.

You shouldn't fuck a man on the first date because there is always the risk of pregnancy, in general abstinence should be practiced but if not obviously use a condom.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 11:37 PM

This is absurd. 2 years away from graying hair. Sperm quality starts declining at age 25. Where are people founding these notions upon? It is obvious -men.

Convenient statistics is a marketing tool, for the purpose of rhetoric though I'm adopting it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:36 PM

But objectively most people didn't live to 28. That was my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 07:09 PM

Indeed, a lot more people were out there dying way younger than that. So objectively 28 is not young.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 05:38 PM

This doesn't change the reality of my analysis. If anything it bolsters the absurdity of stating 28 is a young age.

Coincidentally it was only until after the 17th century that people started living longer than 28. So objectively you make a preposterous statement, as if these long lifespan didn't accompany decades of struggle.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 03:34 PM
1

These myths such as 'How is 28 not young' do not reflect the reality in which events occur. We keep acting like the West is able to maintain a certain standard, like people literally aren't struggling for resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 03:28 PM
0

Most people didn't live to 28. I keep seeing these absurd statements all the time too, which makes absolutely no sense; like we aren't living in a constant sense of danger; people in the West are so privileged, that they don't understand how fucked they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 03:20 PM

Bingo, capitalism exemplifies the contradictions of the dating market
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/23 06:21 PM

Your genes don’t care about fulfillment. My dad had like four children, I love the guy but he isn’t very smart. What constituents fulfillment is all dependent on your social hierarchy. Let’s say you are a monarch in the 1800s, you benefit from colonialism. Generally, intelligent people in society didn’t reproduce. This is probably due to the harsh reality of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/23 10:30 PM

Except that dating market is heavily skewed towards men IMO. Men theoretically have an infinite time to spread their seed (declines 25+), which is their biological purpose. Everything else is capitalistic, sociological functions that have little or nothing to do with biology.

Since when is sex an everyday occurence? Is reddit delusional?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 09:00 PM

Most sex was for pleasure and bonding, in which most people payed the consequences for dearly.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 11:55 PM

That's not what I'm talking about. Logically relationships are man and woman right? Well if you want to have children I mean. Men use porn because of the need to procreate. That drive to watch porn wouldn't exist without a sex drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 11:41 PM
3

People are only 'porn sick' because men aren't needed.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 10:46 PM

About those intelligent people on reddit - because High IQ is realising that capitalism doesn't work for the majority of people. And that the roles we are forced into are dumb. These lookism games that we play are childish.

I don’t think there is such thing as a happy relationship. We are at best vying for a few years

Considering that we have a climate crisis, we are going to have to radically change things anyway. We are seeing that Europe is becoming barren. The world needs to come together and we still have time. We need to dismantle animal agriculture and work towards renewable energy sources.

Alpha is a classist concept. Many got rich exploiting the poor and were already wealthy to begin with.

It wasn't money, he just looked the part. I am aware of the person that did it. I just want to get in your head.

I don't think you are addressing what I am saying regardless. If you are having an easier time dating in other countries it validates what I said. I don't see how it can be betabuxing especially when people have gotten away with sleeping with teenagers.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 11:28 PM

Race. Asia has a sex tourism problem because of it.

Beta bux because you went to a different country?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 10:52 PM
2

No. It's just a like a job, you can bend over backwards to become a programmer but if you are a painter you are a painter. This is why a man can do drastically better in a different country.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 10:35 PM

This. It does not matter how much you change your personality, sometimes you are better off dating in an entirely different country.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 10:08 PM

Changing your location can make you a lot more 'likeable'.

A syndrome almost entirely specific to men? No, women historically date up. What you are perceiving as hate is the small minority while most men are just invisible.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 09:22 PM

I know that you explained why. But I essentially said that it is something that plagues men; so I will anticipate your response.

Testosterone is hell of a drug right? Or maybe it is something a little more? I don't know, why is it that men are more likely to be violent and lonely?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 12:50 AM

Cherry picking, you said colonialism and imperialism. How are you going to have a conversation with someone if you already have your mind made up? Don’t act like you don’t know why men do crimes you are smarter than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 10:52 PM
1

You kind to have to be strong in addition to cunning to do crime. I mean a woman can do these things but not when she has a incentive to raise children instead. Men also have an incentive to do crime, when they see that there are no women available. You kind to have to be strong in addition to cunning to do crime. The environment was so toxic, it has me thinking that the person who wrote this has no idea what people are like. That has been my public school experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 10:02 PM

That is probably how they maintained civilisation. They probably realised that women tend to like powerful men. So they needed an excuse to keep slave society running. Marx wrote that history goes in stages.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 05:05 PM

Women don’t really play videogames or program. This is reinforced by gender roles, they will be bullied into being ‘heteronormative’.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 01:52 PM

Did you grow up as a minority in an inner city school? Is it the personification of toxic masculinity. I don’t understand where people are getting the idea that 40% of men are gay; that study had to be biased.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 01:47 PM

My dad slept around all the time. It affected my mother so I grew up ultra-conservative. I later would realise my mother’s faults.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/22 12:55 PM

She just makes an assumption. I’m guessing she didn’t go into an inner city school, homophobia was rampant.

No one is dying. We are not even talking about death stay on topic. And I know you are lying because here is a meta-analysis on the health outcomes of vegans and vegetarians. You exposed yourself too early, you are anti-vegan, but I'm not even promoting veganism I'm saying to stop eating cholesterol to solve his cholesterol problem. You are insinuating that I'm giving him advice to harm himself, why don't you get an appointment with a nutritionist before you harm yourself you aspie. I don't know…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 05:39 PM

I read your comment properly - your reasoning is to disregard what I'm saying because your body makes cholesterol; which does not even relate to what I said. I said to stop eating foods that have high cholesterol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 05:36 PM
2

The secret to gaining weight is...eating more. If someone is vegan that means they are usually eating foods with less than 100 calories. Surprise surprise if they are skinny.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 04:37 PM

I don't eat plant oils, and yea oils are usually bad. I'm not listening to anything, it's just a fact that if you are not eating any foods with cholesterol you won't get cholesterol. I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with me on.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 04:34 PM

If your cholesterol is through the roof stop eating foods that have high cholesterol, i.e, eggs. You can do a diet which literally has no cholesterol - vegan, vegeterian etc. My cholesterol was around 69 at 17, 22 now.

Even if there weren't a mass die off, conquest was the fastest way to acquire riches during the time. This was also the birth of patriarchy and the priest class. The priest class was likely the one who reproduced and probably a portion of the warrior class.

Did they take into account that people like Genghis Khan would go village-to-village killing fathers and siring children? Is rape/conquest taken into account?

Do you see any guys dating women they don’t like? Women actually have to be picky though, men can theoretically mate even in senior years.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 04:07 PM

You do choose your dating pool though. I don’t see any guys dealing with women they don’t like (at least the guys I’m friends with). Regardless it’s much less of an issue for men because sperm starts declining at age 29.

What if I told you that it was, capitalism like to keep things the same. It creates problems to be the solution for them.

Car-centric infrastructure contributes to obesity (also has a history of racism). Fast food culture as well.

obesity is something that the general populace struggles on. my experience dating is that I find myself at a risk because I excel in non-traditional jobs. I can paint, but it will take me longer to find a job in programming.

To be fair most people aren't of good health, wear sunscreen, and floss daily. It's important not to conflate neotenous features with ephebophilia. The strong attraction to the innocence part is what distinguishes a pedophile from a child molester. A pedophile recognises that his/her thoughts aren't normal. While child molesters understand this and acts on them. Then there are sociopaths who are in the business of exploiting these people. My thoughts as someone who (has no background in psycholo…

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/21 07:28 PM

No one knows what these words mean. When we say pedophilia, we clearly understand that something wrong because we can use our imagination. Thus these distinctions do not matter. The problem here is that you said men aren't attracted to developed women, and that is not true.

You said 12 years olds. You need to back up that claim. You would also be implying that there is something in men’s genes specifically. Most people would agree pedophilia is a psychological problem (history of being abused). If you are trying to loosely say neoteny, that’s different like those Korean pop stars
